Orders all placed! Main act on stage... the table directly in front of us has drinks

Attended the comedian Mojo Brookzz set with Fab Monroe as the opener I have no complaints the show was cool the SERVICE however was horrid!! And the side wall obstructed view seating is crazy it's like they just try squeezing in a seat where ever they can get one not concerned at all with the paying customers view of the stage at all.... The show started a few minutes shy of an hour LATE we just myself and one friend were seated waited 25 plus minutes for the server we put in our drink order as well as an order of wings.... About 45 minutes in the server brings over the sorry looking wings( like dominos wings) but no drinks... those seated in-front of us and behind us all had food and drinks and we literally ordered at the same time same server... we asked about our drinks and she said they'll be out soon the bar is slammed... some time passed and we caught her walking by and asked AGAIN she claimed she went to check the bar for them and when she came back she said the drinks hadn't been made and there's no longer a bartender at the bar! Mood killed but yet she proceeded to give us the bill with 18% gratuity added in... gratuity for what,,??? We gave back the untouched pigeon wings she was unapologetic and gave attitude as if it were our fault we didn't get our drinks smh literally 5mins after that Mojo's set was done and the show was over. That goes to show how LONG we waited for NOTHING...after the show there was lots of chatter about the lack of service provided. I feel like I spent more time wondering where our food and drinks were and trying to get our servers attention than I did actually enjoying the show! Funny bone in St. Louis was amazing 10/10 all around.. This Albany location was a bust. Maybe just bring your own food and drinks in your purse that'll probably be BEST. And we traveled from out of state for this. Not a happy customer at all. I'll have to catch mojo again at a more well equipped venue to fully enjoy him.

Giving this 4 stars cause everything but the food is great. The food is meh. Overpriced and nothing noteworthy, but the drinks are great (even if they're also expensive) and the staff is amazing. Had a great waitress who was attentive and hilarious. The shows are great, so maybe just eat beforehand

Not sure why this place gets so many bad reviews. There's really not much else competition in the area, and with that youd think this place could get by as a shitshow, but it doesn't! A co-worker and I came here on an early Friday showing for Joe Zimmerman and he was amazing! The MC and comedy opener were equally as great. -1 star because they put groups together, which can become kind of awkward when you're staring a couple down. Maybe keep an area for general seating and an area for people to order food? For a comedy show restaurant, the food was beyond expectations. They defintely put in a bit of effort into their menu (its not just things like chicken fingers, mozzerella sticks, fries.) I had their pulled pork sandwich was soooooo good. That blueberry habanero sauce pulled the sandwich together. It was only my first time here, and Ill be back without a doubt.

We had such an amazing time! Anthony and Johnny were so funny! I never laughed so hard. If you ever get the change to see Anthony Rodia and Goumba Johnny DO IT!!! OMG are they funny!! I'm sad to write our service was not the best (directly due to our waiter). I spoke to management today and have to say she was extremely apologetic and was very open to listening to my concerns. I can tell by our phone conversation she will take care of the issue we had. Because of this and just the atmosphere of the place we will definitely be going back again soon! What a fun night out. Get there early, have some dinner and drinks before the show.

Arrived with a large party of ten. We were asked to come at 8:30. Event to begin at 9:30 and doors to open at 9:15. The first show is running behind. No big deal. The venue is very disorganized. we are waiting in the bar area, and staff isn't sure which door we are entering in. The line extends down the hall into the mall. There is limited access to a bathroom as it's roped off, people are walking around the rope . The other show is still going on at 9:22 and they haven't exited the room. Limited number of bartenders serving drinks. Music in the lobby where everyone is waiting is overly vulgar to be heard in the mall and LOUD. Atmosphere and conversation amongst guests was nice. I will update after the comedy showing. Update: upped to three bar service was quick at the outside bar though out of many selections.

Went to my first show with some friends. The seats were good. It appears that all seats make it easy to see the stage. The opening act who I guess is the MC, was just okay. ( sorry Travis). But the two comedians that preformed that night were hysterical. I know I have read reviews that it is not always a great show but I must have hit a great night! Yes, drinks are a little expensive but that is expected. The price of food seemed reasonable although we did not order anything. My friends ordered the funnel fries and the brownie and said they were both delicious. Our waitress was attentive. I did not receive my complementary souvenir glass with my drink. I myself wasn't concerned, but I can see how this could pose a problem for others. All in all we had a very fun evening, It is worth giving it a try at least once!

I had so much fun seeing Rumours, a Fleetwood Mac cover band, on Saturday. I walked into Pearl St…read more Pub and a sign directed me upstairs to the Upper Room. On this particular night, they had the dance floor covered in chairs and tables, set up like a comedy club or a dinner show. I see on their website that they sometimes clear those tables to provide a generous dance floor space. The table set up is good for comedy or jazz, but many FM songs are made for dancing! Luckily there was plenty of room to dance on the right side of the room, but obviously along the wall there isn't the best sight or sound. I think it would have been better to put the tables in a U shape and provide more room for dancing, which would have really elevated the energy in the room. There are booths along the left, too, so TONS of seating and not much good dance space, but luckily this could be changed in the future. I never had to wait long for a drink and the bartenders didn't mind when I asked for refills of water. I think this space has a lot of potential and I hope to see more music or comedy there soon!

What's behind the Green Door?…read more Well, I remember a song from my childhood called "Green Door" -it had a honky-tonk piano sound and I kind of remember it got some radio play in the early '60s. I also remember there was a porno movie named "Behind the Green Door". It was a big deal in 1972 and "starred" Marilyn Chambers -the Ivory Snow girl. Fast Forward to today. What's Behind the Green Door up in Collinsville, CT? A very nice restaurant known as the Green Door Restaurant. It's the house restaurant at Bridge Street Live - a music and entertainment venue on the Farmington River in the funky little town of Collinsville. We had dinner at the Green Door tonight and had a pretty favorable experience. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed a pretty view of the River and enjoyed a singer and his acoustic guitar. So what kind of food might one find behind their Green Door? The menu had seven appetizers ranging from a $6 soup to an $18 Charcuterie Board, three salads ranging from $10 to $14 with a protein add-on between $8-$10 more, five sandwiches with a side for $13 or $14, six personal pizzas ($10-$15), and eight entrees ranging from $14 - $34. We shared a Hummus platter ($10) served with pita wedges, grape tomatoes, carrot and celery sticks, and broccoli florets. The hummus with Roasted Red Pepper was very good, the veggies were cold and crisp, and the pita bread was soft and warm. Not a bad value for ten bucks, but the actual amount of hummus wasn't very generous. I ordered one of the entrees - a Seared Sesame Ahi Tuna Bowl for $18. It was a big serving of six tuna slices with red quinoa & buckwheat, maybe two dozen crispy chickpeas, shaved carrots, sliced avocado, and arugula with a herb lemon dressing. The dish tasted great and was a pretty good value, considering the large serving. We also ordered a Reuben Sandwich ($14) of shaved corned beef, Thousand Island dressing, house made sauerkraut, and Fontina cheese, on Marbled Rye. The sandwich tasted great (especially the bread) but the weak link was the quantity of corned beef - not nearly enough. My Diet Coke $3 and that price speaks for itself -it was high. Our modest dinner ran around $47 (after tax) and I didn't really feel our overall value was there. Yes, the view was nice, the service was friendly, and the menu was varied. If you're attending a show at Bridge Street, it does make a lot of sense to eat here as a convenience. Otherwise, I'm not really convinced to go through that Green Door again.
