My husband was impressed by his magic, and couldn't wait to come back for our next summer vacation. This year, the comedian-magician had the audience in stitches. We have been visiting HHI for the past 14 yrs during School Break. We have ventured to every part of the island and all that it has to offer. However, we have never been to the Comedy Magic Cabaret show. Wow, what an amazing time! I would go back in a heartbeat! Show was over 2 hours....food was average but sufficient since we ate before and room size was great. Husband and wife team run the Cabaret and from the time you walk in until the end of the show, you feel welcome and comfortable. Oh my - we had too much fun at this place! Came here with a large group as a part of a technology conference and were skeptical after reviewing the website. The venue has a very intimate vibe, upclose and personal. We laughed just about the entire time - I was called up on stage at some point because my coworkers hate me, and Kerry was a delight. We enjoyed Kerry and his wife so much that we asked them to join us out after the show and they showed up. The fun continued! And then they drove some of us back to our hotel - good people! I would recommend this to absolutely anyone - incredibly witty, not too dirty so you're not uncomfortable next to your coworkers. This was my 2nd or 3rd time here and I definitely intend to return anytime I'm in Hilton Head. It's a friendly, intimate environment, and is a good mix of magic and comedy - probably 30% magic, 70% comedy, and all the magic has comedy well integrated into it. The show was "face hurting" levels of funny and went on for 2 full hours, which is pretty darn long for comedy - in a good way. Fair warning that there may be some interaction with those sitting in the front row, and maybe a little of the second row, but all in good fun. Chocolate lava cake was good. He did a fair number of improv bits with the room which included a newlywed couple which kept us in stitches. My wife and I love comedy shows and this place fits the bill for an entertaining night with lots of laughs...surprisingly, in a resort town! Kelly and Kerry are a husband and wife team. Kelly, the hostess, is the very warm and friendly. And Kelly, is the sole comedian who seemingly runs the whole show...for 2.5 hours! It's quite impressive! The show is hilarious, intimate, clean, and Kerry must have gone 2&1/2 hours at least. I thought it would never end and didn't want it to. Family had a great time it was a great memory. This was well worth every penny (that my dad paid). Purchase tickets online for free appetizers. Drinks and food were reasonable, but the show was incredible. Kerry does an excellent job working off of the audience. Everything he says is pure comedic genius! He chose a guy in the front row and called him Sparky and was relentlessly making fun of him the entire time. Kerry had a quick wit and kept us engaged. His humor is self-deprecating, interactive, and family appropriate. The show lasted for 2 1/2 hours, but the time just flew by. The magic was low-tech but still absolutely incredible. I don't want to spoil the grand finale, but the intelligence it required to pull it off was spectacular. My only regret was getting tired of laughing so hard for almost 3 hours straight. A great show! Fair price and accurately described as funny without being dirty, thus entertaining for all age groups. We went last night (10/10/18) and we are 50 years old from New York City; refreshing to enjoy clever, witty jokes without cursing. My only regret is that we didn't eat there. Heard many compliments about the food, and you can get a variety of delicious drinks including nonalcoholic root beer floats to any beer or mixed drink.
