My beloved credit union PATELCO couldn't fix it. My beloved other bank Wells Fargo couldn't fix it - referred to B of zA as the stuck point. Went to B of A with not much hope. Met up with magic banker Reese Santo. Had both my online banking, smartphones open to my accounts and Reese so patiently worked the stuck point and I walked out of B of A - difficult problem solved. Both of us are longtime Chase customers and local residents. The bank just unilaterally decided they weren't going to let the check go through, causing major headaches for both parties. When we went to this branch in person to clear up the problem, the manager was completely unsympathetic and tried to shift blame onto our tenant in his absence. They refused to talk to the tenant on the phone to get the matter cleared up. There was no acknowledgement that the bank made a mistake, no regret for denying a legitimate transaction. Impressed at first there was a security guard at the front (who took longer to react, but then eventually opened the door for me. Lol) As soon as you walk in, the walls are adorned with paintings of the first settlers. (Native Americans, I think?) I look straight ahead and notice the vault is wide open in the center of the room, which explains the security guard (which no other local Chase bank has). Plenty of friendly tellers on the left and they were quick to greet and assist me. Ample parking in front (during lunch on a Memorial weekend). I'm still trying to figure out why the bad ratings at this location. Guess I'll have to keep returning here to find out for myself. But definitely recommend this location to all.

My son was with me at the time and was a bit fussy; she didn't mind. I've gone back a few times and the branch manager noticed my son's savings account and sold me on a certificate of deposit.
