The only plus is that there usually is parking.

I visited the U.S. Bank San Bruno branch to withdraw $900, but the teller mistakenly processed the…read morewithdrawal as $700 and issued an incorrect receipt. When I noticed the error, I immediately went to the Serramonte branch to correct it. Their staff reviewed my account history, confirmed the teller's mistake, and corrected the transaction. I was thanked for being honest and returning promptly. However, the following morning (January 30), I received a call from a manager who spoke to me in a way that felt accusatory, repeatedly asking me to bring in my receipt--as if I had done something wrong. I explained that the receipt itself reflected the teller's error, which is why I returned to the bank in the first place. I was not trying to make a complaint or gain anything; I only wanted to correct the mistake and avoid trouble for the teller. I have been a long-time customer for many years, and this was my first negative experience. Being spoken to in this tone--especially after acting honestly and responsibly--was disappointing and unnecessary. Errors can happen, but customers should not be made to feel suspected when they are clearly trying to do the right thing.
