Took my husband's suit to be dry cleaned and press. The next day when my husband was getting ready he asked if that suit had been clean and press. The coat's left arm and back were completely wrinkle and pants were poorly pressed. I took the suit back and the man at the counter said it was poorly done and he would redo it. When I picked up the suit again found that they had put a 3rd crease in the pants. Very poor quality work and for what they charge I will look for another dry cleaning service. They offered to redo the pants again, but after 2 attempts I wouldn't want to try again. Waste of time and money read more

Don't waste your time and money. Comet Cleaners does a shoddy job with collared shirts, specifically the neck collars. I always ask for the neck collars to be cleaned and they never are. Needless to say i'm tired of the sub par job Comet Cleaners does and will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Wife brought her 3/4 sized lightweight jacket and a dress without beading here for dry cleaning and paid a total of 36 dollars.They charged extra to press the belt the coat came with. Unhappy with the discrepancy of quoted price and actual price and their general habit of overcharging for their services. read more

Boo! This placed charged almost $20 bucks for two police shirts and two pairs of police pants! I understand now why you pay upon pickup since I would have never left the uniforms with them had I known. Wow how about some type of price break for first responders or a receipt with the price ahead of time. I will definitely be looking for a new place for uniforms! read more

Honestly, I don't like writing bad reviews and usually done in less I feel they are 100% warranted. In this case, I was hesitant to do so because the young man who works at this location is extremely friendly and professional and even opened up for me 15 minutes after closing one night so that I could drop my clothing off. Unfortunately, I think other customers should be warned. The first time I use their services, I went back (two days after the close were supposed to have been ready) and they were missing one pair of pants - no apology, just stated that I would have to come back the next day to pick them up. The second time I came, I got back a pair of pants in the waistband on the inside was very frayed- I could still wear them since this was on the inside of the pants, but I believe it speaks to the quality of their processes. This last time (I know, I know, I should have learned) did it for me. I walked around at work all day with a huge HOLE in the crotch that I didn't notice when I put them on in the morning. I guess they didn't even check the pants before giving them back to me. I'm done with this place, which is too bad because it is right next to my house. read more

Avoid this location at all cost. The clothes were not ready when promised. The lost my son's pants and gave me someone else's clothes. After I returned the other person's clothes they kept insisting that the pant belonged to me. They were not even my size! Secondly the did something to my son's Suit coat and had to replace the buttons. They kept saying that it would be there the next day, and even called to tell me it was there. But when I arrived it wasn't. The consolation is that they said they did not charge me! I had gone back 4 TIMES and that's it. Go to Culpepper or Frontier. Comet is not good at keeping your clothes together. read more

Took my comforter set which I just had bought three days prior, it was white so therefore took it to get a professional cleaning when I got it back it was full of what seemed like oil stains on top of that got charged $100 just so they can mess up my brand-new bed sheets and comforter. I wouldn't mind paying that if my sheets and comforter weren't ruined. Yes, they refunded my $100 but they didn't refund me for messing up my $300 comforter, and it also took two weeks to get it back never will I go there again for anything! I am VERY disappointed in the service at the Comet Cleaners at Alamo Ranch. First off I don't understand why there's is a separate website for the comet cleaners in San Antonio, and Second why do you not have prices listed on the website for services? I dropped off 3 plain long dress with NO beading what so ever, nothing fancy..the dress themselves cost no more than $25. When I checked the "comet cleaners" original website it has the prices and to dry clean dresses was anywhere from $8-$10 which was the whole reason why I wanted to dry clean my dresses. When it came time to pick them up I was charged $33 PER DRESS, because they added an "extra fee" because they were considered "evening dresses" and had to be taken care of with precaution because of "beading". THERE IS NO BEADING WHAT SO EVER. I don't understand why a dress will be charged extra Because of "length" I have never heard of that in my life. Is that why the prices are hidden on the SA comet cleaners website? To be ripped off? Because that's exactly how I feel. The worker just said there was nothing they can do since the "services" have already been done and that I should have been told of the prices when I dropped the items off. Which I wasn't told the prices because If they did I would have definitely not have paid $33 to clean the dresses when the dresses didn't even cost that much themselves.
