I had to get a root canal done today, generally not what anybody wants to hear and even fewer want to experience. My Dr is Dr. Lim and I can say without hesitation that over the last several years he has been my dentist he has erased my anxiety about going to the dentist. Today's procedure is just another example of a great experience. I had absolutely zero pain or discomfort even when he said I was going to have some discomfort. The care this Dr and his staff offer to make a patient relax is great. Everyone who works here is friendly and they all seem to enjoy being at work. The office has recently been remodeled and is even more open and comfortable. But wow I cannot say enough great things about him! I wish I would have known about him sooner. He's so knowledgeable and really takes his time to explain everything to you! 10 STAR SERVICE! I have been to this location a number of times in the last 10 or so years and it just keeps getting better! I called on a Tuesday(3-23-26) and got in the same day within an hour for a consultation and X-ray. They then scheduled me for the following day for a molar root canal and temporary crown for 5:30pm. I was in and out for the procedure in an hour and no pain! My dentist Brett, the assistant, front office and X-ray technician were all amazing!! Had an appointment scheduled 6 months in advance, 3 days before they call and tell me the doctor won't be in that day. When I said "what's the point of scheduling 6 months in advance if you just cancel it?" And Marissa said "it's just to get you on the books." If the dentist isn't in and you cancel my appointment after 6 months of waiting am i really on the books? Marissa needs to fix her attitude and not talk to people like they're dumb. I was told by my prior dentist that I would likely need a crown on a tooth that had an old filling. Dr. Lim took X-rays and discussed my options and he was able to start the process today while I was there. Temporary Crown in place and permanent Crown will be here on the 19th. Outstanding service! A couple years ago, I had a horrible toothache and my regular dentist was closed. I called Comfort Dental and they told me to come right in. I wound up needing an extraction and Dr. Talbot did it. He then texted me the next day to make sure I was ok. Fast forward to now and Dr. Talbot has been my only dentist since then. Not only is he cool, and gets my crazy sense of humor, but he can do almost any dental procedure in his office. I have had root canals, fillings, a bridge, and he does my cleanings himself every six months. (The hygienists are wonderful as well) And, any time I have a procedure, he still always texts me to make sure I am doing OK. A big thing for me is how always checks my dental insurance and tells me what to have done when to maximize my benefits. He is very conservative and never recommends services I don't need, which is a hard quality to find in Frisco. My husband goes to Dr. Talbot as well...because I told him I wanted him to switch with me when I did. He now has a great relationship with him as well and we wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I've been hesitant to go to the dentist because it had been so long. I found Comfort Dental through my insurance app; and decided to give them a call. It was fast and easy to get an appointment. They stay open later than a lot of places so that sold me, as I live all the way in Princeton! We started with X-rays, then a thorough exam, cleaning, and then had some fillings done. The hygienist was nice, and Dr. Lim was great with walking me through what I needed and what he recommended. He wasn't pushy with anything at all, and never tried to upsell me. Picking a dentist is hard. Picking a dentist in a new town is even harder. There are so many options and no prices anywhere to be seen. Plus, do you really want to go with the cheapest one for your own teeth? I found these guys on Yelp and liked that they are part of a network and my insurance (Delta) is accepted there. I came in for a cleaning and because my crown fell off. I was introduced to Dr. Lane and he made me feel comfortable from the get-go. The service is straight forward and Dr. Lane keeps you in know the entire time. This place is what dentistry should be and then some. They even took the time and courtesy to run my insurance against some proposed treatments to see what it would cost and how I could space it out to maximize my insurance. The staff is super friendly and there is not a long wait the times I have been there, with or without an appointment. Minus one star only because the office décor could use some modern design upgrades. read more

If you don't have insurance please go elsewhere! I've been at this location twice, and twice have been lied to. Said cleaning and X-ray was $35 then when I got there they wanted to charge $125. They told me cleaning wasn't included. Luckily I had my nieces receipt on hand for the same exact service from 2 days prior. And they looked shell shocked. "I caught them!" So they did his cleaning and X-rays. Then Dr. Manhvu Nguyen had explained to my wife that he would accept payments to do my sons dental work since we are without dental insurance. He setup a schedule and said we could make payments on level 1 and once that was paid off we could move to level 2 of dental work. So we made a appointment and came back in. What would you know they know nothing of it and he denied ever saying that.!!!!! Didn't even have the decency to speak with me directly. Avoided me the entire visit!! Stay away at all cost! Must better out there for those of us want quality dental care by someone who cares and stands by what they say. Oh and by the way I live 45 minutes away from this location. BEWARE:DO NOT GO One of the worst places i have been been to in terms of dental / any issues to be very honest. It feels like they are sitting just to grab your money and give you hard time . Despite of having good insurance they never cared about checking what benefits i had and just asked for upfront copay which is fine but at least have courtesy to entertain and listen to someone over the phones. I called them several times but no one is bothered to even listen what I am trying to explain and at the same time not filling and office visit to insurance so i can settle the bills, not sure what to do as they are screwing their business i hope management is aware of this. read more

I hate dentists. Well, not dentists really...I'm sure dentists are just regular people, with regular lives. I'm sure they are perfectly nice. But the dental profession and all things related to teeth give me the major willies. But I have children, and children need to see dentists. Which is how I found myself looking for a dentist close to my house, with decent hours and prices who wouldn't give me a huge guilt trip over every little cavity. I found it! Dr. Lane is so awesome and tells funny stories and the kids were very relaxed...he didn't get offended or put out when my son had trouble sitting still (it was directly after a long day of school my poor boy was at the end of his patience rope)...the supportive staff in this office are so sweet and friendly too! Maybe....just maybe....I might be willing to have my own teeth checked out. Although I'm not sure there's enough Xanax in the world. read more
