I think this is a cute little thrift store HOWEVER.... There was an item that I was extremely interested in and I asked for a better price. The owner told me she could sale the item for $10 more, and since she could, why would she sale it to me for cheaper. Instead of trying to retain a good customer she doubled down on not being willing to negotiate. For this reason alone I'll never go back.

Most things were disorganized like the mountain of linens in the back of the store. I don't know why they don't fold some of it and try to make it look presentable. Aisles are very tight and several times I had to wait for people to move because there was no way around them. Nothing was marked with prices but I didn't see anything even worth asking about. Anything that looked remotely interesting had a chip or crack in it. After a few minutes of browsing I knew this wasn't the place for me.

Love That Thrift opened in August of last year. They are a non profit that donates proceeds to local animal shelter and rescues. There is a main room with household items, decorative items and racks of clothes. There is also two smaller rooms, one with children's toys and clothing and another with pet items and small appliances. I had fun digging through the tub of chihuahua sized dog clothes. Prices were more than fair on the things I looked at and they seemed open to offers. The two young ladies working were amazing, so welcoming and friendly. They accept donations so check back often for the changing inventory and follow them on social media.

However, customer service is everything. I arrived at approximately 5:34 PM, even though the posted closing time is 6:00 PM. I knocked on the door and looked through the window. Rather than someone coming to the door to explain the situation, I watched as an employee (or possibly the owner) looked in my direction and mouthed, "It's closed." If you truly needed to close early, all it would have taken was someone walking to the door, explaining the situation, and offering a simple apology. That small gesture would have shown respect for a customer who made the trip based on your posted business hours. I understand things happen, but the lack of basic courtesy was disappointing. A few seconds of communication can leave a lasting positive impression, even when you can't accommodate a customer. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience.
