Good: 1. is affordable, during the week. 2. Staff is helpful and kind. 3. Hot tub was working, as promised. Pool area is clean. 4. Off the main drag so one doesn't have to deal with all of THAT traffic. Easy access to a number of notable Branson tourist spots, such as Silver Dollar City, St. James Winery, Titanic Museum without having to get in the traffic mix. 5. Shower head in bathroom was awesome! 6. Pool table/game area was a nice addition for our 13 year old grandson. Bad: 1. Breakfast was AWFUL! We even arrived during the "green light" designation/early in the morning....and it was bad! No working waffle maker, limited cereal and fruit choices, powered eggs swimming in liquid. We travel all over the U.S. and have eaten at many a hotel breakfast. This was by farrrrrrrrrrrrrr the worst. We headed to Billy Gail's for breakfast during the rest of our stay. Thankfully, it was just over a half mile away. 2. THEE ELEVEATOR! Just from a safety standpoint....I am shocked that a hotel of this size can get away with only one elevator moving at a snail's pace. Add cleaning crews moving carts via the elevator, and you'll be lucky to fit another person or two into the moving albatross. I had just had knee surgery, so the stairs weren't an option...if you stay here, pack your patience with regards to the elevator. 3. This is an older hotel. It shows its wear and tear. A renovation is needed. 4. We were consistently promised that the gift shop could easily get us tickets WITHOUT advance notice. We repeatedly asked about our needs and were reassured it wasn't a big deal. The day we decided to go to the Titantic museum....we went to the gift shop to buy our tickets. They had apparently sold out of their "allotted tickets" for the day....and we were there during the week. THANKFULLY, we were able to walk up to the ticket counter, at the museum, and get tickets for the day...but, I wasn't happy about the whole experience. Weigh the good with the bad....I did research for MONTHS to find the perfect place for us and our grandson. I prioritized our needs and booked this place. IF I ever go back, with a grandkid, during the summer...this place would be a 50/50 for me. read more

We stayed at the Branson Meadows July 2-5, 2026. This is our favorite hotel in Branson and we try to reserve here anytime we plan to visit and rooms are available. We always recommend the hotel to others who ask us, even strangers, though we tongue-in-cheek say to please not try to reserve on a date we plan to go to avoid the hotel not having a room when we need it. :) Of course, joking aside, the hotel is wonderful. The personnel are phenomenal. We have had the blessing and opportunity to meet several of them and they all seem to genuinely care about the guest and the guest experience. Personnel to be expected could include John, Grace, TJ, and manager Steve are always making sure things are going properly. There are others who take care of their duties and guests but we have not learned their names. Making reservations is easy whether by the Choice Hotels website or by calling the hotel directly. The telephone on weekdays is usually answered by TJ who helpfully cares for the needs and preferences, and provide the best cost available based on the guest's possibilities. Even if TJ is not the person answering we hav found everyone to be helpful in requests. The hotel is always clean including the rooms, hallways, breakfast room, restrooms. There are four floors including the main floor. There is an elevator that has always operated properly when we have visits and is clean. Room service related to new towels and those necessary items are provided as requested. Christina manages the hospitality areas. You can request a regular full service and that is done at no additional cost. The other option is to indicate on a hanging card what and how many of various items (bath towels, hand towels, washcloth, hand soap, tp, facial tissues, etc.) and they place them all in a large plastic bag, tied, and placed outside the room door. You can place your used towels outside the room door and they quickly pick them up for your convenience. We have found this way to actually work out well as no need to fuss about the room as no one will be entering. Sound level is what would be expected in a hotel of this type. The rooms are pretty quiet. We don't normally hear anything except periodically when a family with running children come in and run down the halls, but that is usually only a few moments and then quiet again. This is especially good for those needing a quiet place to rest during the day, and for those who need to work in their room. The only thing I need to comment on, especially since I previously mentioned the family friendly nature of the canned soft drink machines in the building, the price has been raised to $2.00 per can, so not as family friendly as before though s nice variety is still available and convenient. The machines only take cash but the front desk can assist with that if needed. They also have a frozen product machine with items such as ice cream sandwiches and similar novelties for about $4.00 and $5.00 each. There is a free breakfast provided that includes items such as scrambled eggs, white gravy, biscuits, hard boiled eggs, cereals, waffles you make in the machine, bacon on some days while ham on other days, and many other items. There is pretty much something for everyone and cared for by breakfast manager Christine and her staff. There is a parcel of land right next to the hotel, about large enough for another building, but the hotel makes use of it like a park. There is a gravel walking track around the park. Inside the park are a few seating options as well as a horseshoe setup. Recently they installed a covered area and four picnic tables that makes a nice area for eating, relaxing, not normally found at a hotel. It is well cared for, along wth the inside needs of the buildiing by maintenance manager David. Parking is asphalt, well lit, very nice and feeling of security, and there always seems to be enough parking even when they are fully booked. If you have an electric vehicle, they do have three chargers available. On this particular visit, we found out something that may be useful for you to know. As I was checking in, TJ and David were talking about their anniversaries and then said they didn't to bother me with their anniversaries and I mention, well, interestingly it is our anniversary so I am in with the conversation. About an hour later we hears a know at the door and Christina was there holding a silver tray with a silver bucket filled with ice and a nice large bottle of sparkling cider. She said it as for our anniversary and, if they had known about it when we made our reservations, they usually decorate the room prior to arrival. So, if you are going to be at the hotel on your anniversary, and you want to enjoy some free sparkling cider and have a nicely decorated room, let them know when you make your reservation. We can't comment on what the decorations might be since they did not know in time to do our room but we are sure it would be nice based on Christina's detail attention. read more

I'm very picky about hotels! This one does not disappoint. We usually stay at Marriotts so not a regular at Comfort inn. Very clean and welcoming. Enjoyed the extra sink outside the bathroom- helped with 3 females getting ready. Breakfast was good but didn't change much day to day. The girl in the gift shop was not super helpful with buying tickets and we found that we were able to get them cheaper elsewhere . Go see Michelle and All Access Branson! read more

We had an excellent stay here. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our room was just a standard double, but having an extra sink outside the main bathroom made it a lot easier to get ready in the morning. The breakfast had lots of options and was kept stocked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We even used their service of ordering tickets for a show at a discounted rate. The pool was nice, as was the hot tub and sauna - and open late! read more

My husband and I stayed here at the end of Oct-early Nov 2025. The first morning we were leaving the hotel to go sightseeing, our car wouldn't start- dead battery. (David), the hotel maintenance supervisor was so incredibly helpful and friendly! He used a portable charger and got our car going in no time! We greatly appreciated his help! 5/31/2023 Maybe THE BEST hotel on our 38 day, 8500 mile 'Tour America' road trip! The whole hotel was clean and the staff were all friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was extensive and two ladies kept it clean and fully stocked. The woman running the gift shop also advised us on shows to see and got us discounted tickets. Extremely helpful. The maps and brochures were very helpful for first time visitors although 30 minutes driving around town and you pretty much know everything you need to know. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel for your stay in Branson! read more

When reservations were made needed a ada room was told we have them. No walk in shower. No grab bars for toilet. The walked might have made it through door but no space to turn around. Room was so crowded with furniture had to move around to get a spot for the scooter. What makes me mad is the very next morning after being there was the bed bugs bites my parents had all over their body. Now i am washing and spraying everything all from staying here. read more

One of the best hotels we've stayed at since we've been staying at Choice hotels. Every employee we met was helpful & cheerful. Good restaurant & show recommendations from Melanie & Crystal. The woman in the breakfast room was hustling to keep the food stocked & the tables cleaned on a busy Monday morning and still took time to speak with guests. our room was clean & updated. I LOVED that there was an extra sink equipped with a make up mirror. My only "complaint" was the bathtub was a bit high to step over. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We've stayed in a handful of places in Branson - on the strip, closer to Silver Dollar City, all over. The location of this hotel is great - easy to get in and out of; in Branson everything is pretty much 10-20 minutes away. Hotel was clean and accommodating - we had to alter our reservations and they made sure to move our luggage for us, and our room was ready each time we returned. Breakfast offered enough options that we had a variety each day (5 mornings) - always had hot coffee and warm food. Yogurt and fruit available along with make your own pancakes and waffles. Would definitely stay here again. Great all around! read more

We met another couple in Branson for the holiday weekend. Prior to our arrival we received an updated listing of all of the current show/attraction times, with recommendations from prior guests and staff handwritten in the margins. This was amazingly helpful in planning our stay. Once we arrived, as you can imagine, the place was busy. That didn't seem to effect the staff at this Comfort Inn & Suites. The hotel was well staffed and everyone that we interacted with was friendly and helpful without exception. The front desk was prepared for our arrival and checked us in quickly. The woman in the gift shop was very knowledgeable when she assisted us with our show tickets and was able to get us front row tickets to 'Legends' (terrific show) housekeeping changed our sheets and left a sweet note on the bed, and the woman in the breakfast area ran herself ragged making sure that all left for their day full and happy. All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be returning again! read more

I stayed at the Comfort Inn at Thousand Hills last night and it was wonderful. The girl at the desk was very helpful and courteous. The hotel was in great shape and everything functioned as it should. Conversely, tonight I am at the Comfort Inn & Suites on Gretna Rd. and it is awful. Check in was a bit of a drag. The room was ice cold. I went to get a soda and the machine only takes $1 bills. I went downstairs and got change. Went to buy a soda and they are all sold out. Went to the desk to see if they had soda or their little market and they do not. When I mentioned that it was sold out the guy said "every floor?". So I went floor to floor until I found a soda and would you believe it's in a Christmas can? I'm a Gold member, travel about 50 nights a year and none of that was mentioned or acknowledged. You can read the newspaper through their toilet paper. Don't these places realize we just use ten times as much when it's that useless? Very frustrated and my stay has only just begun. read more

We stay in Branson for one night a year. We pick our daughter up from Kanakuk and have one night there before heading out. This hotel was clean and nice, compared to others here. It was a competitive price (dang hotels here are expensive for what you get.) The bathroom was small, but oh well. The breakfast was decent and they had several staff members tying to keep it stocked. The HUGE PLUS is the location. It is NOT located on the main strip so it was super easy to get to and you don't get stuck in traffic. We'll stay here next year for that reason alone. read more

I'm upset about this whole hotel ordeal...first the suites size-nobody would know this unless you've seen both rooms- my brother booked the king size bed regular room and I booked the suite, they had a recliner in their room. We had a couch. The room is alittle bit longer and that's it. Nothing suite about the difference in these rooms except for the price. Big price difference! Not enough handicapped parking spots. Two is not enough! Non electric cars were parking in the electric car charging areas next to the side door. That tells me they are not watching the parking areas at all. Had problems with check in after I called them weeks in advance to confirm everything was taken care of and paid for as I wouldnt be taking my credit cards with me. Yes, confirmed...everything was taken care of, room close to my brother etc...uhhhh no, I was very embarrassed upon checking in as there was an issue with Expedia, through which I paid in advance for and called them weeks ahead..I explained to them at the front desk what if you all were sold out? You put me in danger per say all the rooms had been sold out where would that of put me? Ended up on a different floor then my brother, ended up moving, to my original room I confirmed them with weeks ago, the next day...taking more time out of my brothers 25th Wedding Anniversary plans. The whirlpool had PH balance issues, my brother broke out in an itchy rash on his feet and legs after soaking in it for 15 minutes. We all jumped out when the little kids got in the whirlpool. This is not a pool for youngsters, there again the hotel is not paying attention. Our suite room on the 3rd floor had a funky smell to it. Would not stay here again.! read more

Very nicely appointed facility that is very clean and comfortable. Their staff is one of their best assets ... friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast was basic (eggs,sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, pancakes, bagels, donuts, cereal) but tasty. The room was comfortable, very clean though not brand new, decorations were not "dated". I must stress that the staff at this facility made us feel valued and important! Very convenient to many Branson shopping and entertainment venues. Already have reservations to return! read more

SUPER Place to stay. Its interesting that the only reviews that are not 5 stars are ones that complained about things not really related to the hotel itself but rather to other guests making noise or that there is not a bar within walking distance (that was a PLUS for us!) Anyways... the hotel is stellar. Its the BEST of the BEST as far as Comfort Inn & Suites go. NONE better. They really pride themselves in having an award winning hotel. Employees care and you can really tell. Super clean with great amenities. Big Gift Shop, Breakfast area (which was really good), Heated Swimming Pool, Game room with Pool Table and some video type games. The room we had was a suite with a 2 person jacuzzi. Everything in the room was BIG and COMFORTABLE. I travel a lot and for the price of this room it was the bargain of bargains! You get a LOT for your money at this hotel. I have stayed at hotels that cost almost double and didn't get as nice a room. I HIGHLY recommend you stay at this place and oh... by the way its the Comfort Inn on Gretna Road I am reviewing. We have stayed many places in Branson and this is one of my favorites. We had a studio room which was very spacious. It had a full kitchen, work desk and the room was always nice and cool. Housekeeping was excellent. The hotel was very clean and all of the staff very friendly. My only complaints were it took us 2 1/2 hours to wash and dry a small load of clothes and the breakfast was good except the eggs were overcooked and were little balls that rolled all over your plate and table. read more
