The comfort inn in Dalton Ga, is extremely gross. Do not believe the reviews and pictures on the internet. The hotel is full of black mold. I do not have any respiratory issue and I found it extremely hard to breathe in my room. The air in the hotel is very musty. If you have respiratory issues, I would not recommend staying at that hotel. Actually, I would not recommend anyone staying at that hotel. I have a picture of black mold on the ceiling tile. There was also black mold on the bed covering. I left within 10 minutes of staying at the hotel with a migraine headache in search for another hotel to stay at. To my dismay, the hotel charged me for a nights stay after giving me a receipt for a full refund of two nights. My originally planed stay. Nikki at the front desk was great, very friendly. Room was large and the air conditioning was just what we needed. Slept great with the black out blinds. Very conveniently located near the convention center and food options. read more

Stay here if the racket of trucks barreling down the highway all night doesn't bother you. I didn't realize how close we were to the highway when I booked on line. The hotel is clean and the beds were fine. Everything else is dated (microwave has an old dial timer), biscuit and gravy has no sausage so I cut up a sausage patty and made my own. No frills stopover to sleep (or not) for an overnight. read more

This hotel is need of some major updates. The walls are filthy and the furniture is beat up and dated. The fridge didn't work, and there isn't even a working fan in the bathroom. The shower head completely fell out while taking a shower. The pool area was nice, but needs cleaning. It's right off the highway and you will hear ALL the highway noise. read more

I gave this Comfort Inn a 5 star rating because everything was great, and it was such a HUGE difference between this Comfort Inn and the previous nights' stay at the Leesburg Quality Inn. (so dirty & unkept) Small inconvenience was that the refrigerator didn't have a freezer area. BUT the fridge was a bit larger than most hotel rm fridges, and that was nice. Front Desk person was charming and so accommodating. We saw her (or another employee?) go above and beyond for a tired fellow traveler (minor issue with his key). She probably didn't know how that gesture made a big impression on us and what a great reflection she made for this hotel! Our room was very clean, fresh sheets and pillowcases; bathroom was clean and everything was fresh smelling. Breakfast offerings were standard but nice and fresh...eggs, sausage patties, waffles, muffins & danish, fridge with yogurt and hard boiled eggs. It was nice. We definitely recommend this Inn, and we will return here during our travels! read more

This property has lost touch with reality! We checked in to a room with a broken security lock, a smoke alarm without a cover, and a broken sink drain. We then were moved to another room with a very strong fish smell, which was unbearable, and a very large stain on the floor. Our third room was okay but expected the worse at any moment. Our breakfast was probably the worst we have ever had at Comfort Inn § Suites. We have been stopping at this Comfort location on our way from Florida to Illinois for many years and no longer think they care about their customers. Our travels in the future, will not include another Comfort Inn & Suites. read more

Although the room is clean i think that's where the good stops. The elevator sounds like it's about to break. The refrigerator in the room is broke. Ice machine was empty. Vending machine was out of order. The place is currently under renovation. The renovation wasn't really too bad, but everything else is annoying. Ps. The interstate side of the building is loud! The room was NOT CLEAN and had the most lame furniture I've ever seen in a Comfort Inn. The walls had multiple stains including some that looked like cum stains that dropped down the walls!! Disgusting!! The place is well cared for at all. This is my second experience in a couple months with a Choice Hotel being run down and not clean!! read more

Room was clean and comfortable. Nice beds. Next to highway, so easy on and off. However, this comes with highway noise. No hot breakfast at this time, but a decent selection of food to grab and go back to your room where there was a microwave. Would have like some fresh fruit though (oranges, apples or bananas). read more

Comfortable, clean, and just what was needed after a long day. There's a complimentary breakfast in the morning, an indoor heated pool, exercise room. Just off the interstate, this was a good en route stop. The hotel had a brochure about Dalton. It seems like an interesting place. Perhaps next time, I'll have to stop for a little longer. read more

This place is nothing like other Comfort Inns, I highly don't recommend this place, some of these staff and definitely the manager are full of it, lying left and right, my grandfather had a foul smelling room which the lady at the desk said the whole place was booked and then he found a bedbug in his room and we know what they look like so it was a bedbug so the night staff that just came in behind the desk called their manager and gave him a new room, after being told by the other lady they had no rooms available so in the morning the manager said she apparently checked the room and said it was just "Georgia Beetles" and lemme tell you that was no "Georgia Beetle" then it was mentioned to the manager that one lady said they had no rooms and not even 10 minutes later they gave us a new room because of the bed bug, to of which the manager claims that they are in fact all booked up, and with the photos I put you can tell the parking lot does not have many people, besides the fact that a lot of the rooms were dark. read more

This place is awesome! We had a suite and I seriously enjoyed this room. I thought the fact that it was right by the interstate would bother me....by a bit! It very clean and nice! Rita was the lady at the front desk and she is great!!! I would definitely recommend this place and if I ever have a reason to come back this way I will be staying here!! read more

Reviews show "Excellent" rating, but based on our stay I can't provide that rating. Our bed was broken as if the spring had been just destroyed. Even with light blocking curtains it seemed like morning all night long., a very bright light was pointed directly at the hotel that impacted my sleep. Desk manager was nice only saving grace for the establishment. read more

Good hotel I stayed here one night and the room way clean and the bathroom was clean and the breakfast was spot on the only problem was with my dad who was with me who didn't get up till 8:30 and it was a Saturday so breakfast was from 5:30 to 9:00 but other than that the bed was super comfortable for what I paid for and I definitely think I got my money's worth for the night comin from Florida and back to Indiana read more

Stayed on a Saturday night with a Hotwire rate $100, $30 in taxes and fees. Right off I75 which leads to a lot of vehicle noise in the room,if you're on the East side of the hotel. Room was clean, but dim with insufficient lighting, especially in the bathroom area. The sink was also small with no place to hang towels. The pool was full of little leaguers so never checked it out. Breakfast was okay. Overall I would not pay that much to stay there again. read more

We stayed here during our drive to Savannah from Wisconsin. It was a great place to stop for the night!!! Super affordable, clean, and comfortable!! Great continental breakfast also that sustained us as we began the rest of our journey!! Nice looking hotel. But overcharged me after I noticed it was cheaper to book online and that was only 5 minutes after I checked in and paid. Then I was told I could try getting a refund with the person from the morning staff. Morning staff said the lady when I checked in could have fixed it that night. She just didn't want to. In the end I received some of the difference between the online price and the walk in price. Also, they do not have a hot tub which would be nice after a long drive. We stayed here on the way back from chicago. stopped in Dalton because we had been on the road for almost 12 hrs. we didnt have reservations but got a rate better than online booking rates, (my wife checked afterwards). rooms were clean, able to get a full nights sleep with complimentary breakfast in the morning. If we drive north again I will definitely stay in Dalton area again. place seems interesting for a day stop. read more

Horrible experience! First when we arrived at the front desk we were greeted by Rita. We had booked 2 rooms. 1 with a king w/roll away and the other was 2 queens. Rita proceeds to tell us that the roll away has been taken out of the reservation by her.(No phone call to let us know) She proceeds to tell us while we stare at her in surprise that the comfort inns no longer provide roll aways and they've been trying for years to get them to take that option off the reservation online or booking agencies. Ok lie number one! Then after a full day and night of ball games because we're here for a tourney. They don't clean our room, left no towels. We had to go to the front desk to get towels. Then we decide to check out early. We waited for over 20 minutes for someone at the front desk and no one is there. We go looking for a staff worker and are told no one is there to work it. WOW!! A maid then calls the front desk (we find out schedule manager Candy) she comes in with a bunch of excuses about the night clerk had an emergency and that the exit was blocked so she couldn't get here in a timely manner to cover, lie number 2 (we left by that exit it wasn't blocked) things happen. OK! Thank god none of their customers had an emergency!! Yes at this time we're pissed!! She's rude and full of excuses and proceeds to tell us that it's our fault we didn't tell them the room wasn't cleaned, that we were rude at check in about the roll aways...that they DO have roll aways and they were given to other guests!!! Caught Rita in lie one!!! Unbelievable service! Horrible rooms our light in the bathroom was broken, the fire alarms were broken and being repaired. The elevator STILL SOUNDS AND FEELS LIKE ITS ABOUT TO Fall!!! We will never stay at this hotel. Corporate will be getting a phone call! read more

Sadly, the stay was disappointing to say the least. The hotel was busy when we checked in and there was a customer trying to resolve a room issue, however Rita took out this frustration on us. First the rooms we booked (2) needed to accomadate 3 people each. When we arrived only one room did. When I inquired why this happened she said it was corporates mistake and she couldn't help us. I told her I had confirmed my reservation with the front desk 2 days prior and she said "nope, you talked with the 1800 reservation desk. I had informed her no, I pushed "2" and spoke with the front desk. She told us we could go somewhere else". Unfortunately, there was a music festival and sport tournament in town and there were no other hotels available. Since we were there for business leaving town wasn't an option. Sadly, when we asked for assistance from the shift management, the story of what or why this happened kept changing so the guilt was placed on us. The workers here took zero responsiblity for failing. For the entire stay we never recieved any housekeeping service and we had to go to the lobby to get clean towels everyday. When I tried to get the hotel managers information or the contact information for company that ran the hotel, the front desk manager refused to give it to us. Which, in my opinion, shows guilt and fear of "being told on for doing thier job poorly". Additionally, the hotel seemed to be falling apart. The bathroom lights in both room bathrooms didn't work, the fire alarms continuously sqwauked, and the elevator sounded and felt like it was going to crash ( we used the stairs after the first day). I watched other customers treated this way also. I think the only reason this hotel stays in business is becuase it is right off the interstate and only has "1-night" guests who probably arrive late in the evening and depart early the next morning. I can't imagine a guest would intentionally stay more than one night on purpose. Choice hotels aren't the "high-end" of hotels, but you should be able to expect a little hospitality when you pay over $100 a night. Definately won't recommend this hotel or Choice hotels to anyone! read more
