This was the second time my wife and I stayed at a Tru by Hilton and we absolutely love this hotel…read more We stayed here on our move from Nebraska to Florida and had plenty of room for our truck and trailer in their parking lot. They even allow pets!($75 fee) The rooms here make you feel like you moved into a studio apartment but in a good way. I didn't get any pictures as we just stayed for 6 hours. I wish they had more options for breakfast but they do have a nice option of food and drinks around the main desk. I recommend this hotel to anyone in the area! Very new and safe!

There was grease or oil stained all over my nightstand. There were crumbs/ debris all over the floor and bed frame. There were pubic hairs on the nightstand. Then I went into the bathroom and immediately noticed a curly and long black hair on the sink counter. Even though it was late, we wanted to sit in the lobby area and chill out. Surprisingly enough, it was much cleaner down there so we relaxed a little before heading to bed. We purchased some drinks from the market and watched television. The front desk person was super friendly, attentive, and nice. We also requested a late check out, which she was able to give us until noon. I wish I got her name because she went out of her way to check on us multiple times while watching tv, including offering us the remote. She was about 5'3", dirty blonde hair, late 40's/ early 50's, Caucasian. Unfortunately we did not make it to breakfast due to us sleeping until after breakfast hours. Shower time was not fun. When I was at the conditioning hair point, the shower floor was flooded. I had to turn off the water to wait for the water to slowly drain. It was a first since the shower had a long strip for a drain. Luckily housekeeping was not pounding on the door when I took a couple minutes longer than noon. The rooms definitely need some checking in on but the staff were nice.

Once you turn on that street, the entrance to the motel parking lot is about a block further. There is a good amount of parking, with handicapped spaces on either side of the entrance. There is also a gravel lot for overflow, but the only vehicles I saw there were ones pulling trailers. The lobby is bright and open, with the check in desk on the right. We have been greeted quickly every time we have stayed here. The desk staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms have all been nice and up to date. The motel is generally quiet, even with various travelling sports teams are staying there. There is a pool we have used a few times. The breakfast is pretty extensive and good. They do a good job of keeping up with demand without making so much it sits there too long. They also have some local sauces to add to your eggs. I would be remiss to not mention Miss Marriott, the stray cat who lives in the area. She is sweet and selectively friendly, and hangs out on the patio outside the dining area most mornings. Overall, we have been pleased with the accommodations as well as the staff here.

Two beds, a lounger, a desk, nice tv and nice stand! Also has a mini kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and ice. The bathroom was very nice and clean , too!!! The breakfast in the morning is generous compared to other hotels I've been to recently. Omelette, egg white omelette, biscuits and gravy, bacon, oatmeal, pancakes and hot danishes and way much more. If you're a family you would be saving a killing on breakfast ! Ton of food. Fair price for a very pleasant stay. Exceeded my expectations!

Very upset about my stay. We checked in Friday night from a…read morelong day of driving and settled into our hotel. From the looks of it, our beds seemed clean and the room seemed clean. We had alarms set for 6am to continue driving on and when I woke up, I noticed a Bed bug crawling on the pillow (it was a baby bed bug). Upon inspection, I noticed an adult sized bed bug crawling on the other side of the bed. We were utterly disgusted and have never had this experience elsewhere. We took photos so we had proof to show the desk attendant named Cynthia as well as put both bugs on a napkin and brought them to the front desk. She saw them and squashed them because she said she did not want them to get away. The big bed bug was filled with blood. We felt super gross and asked for garbage bags to put anything we had brought into the room into the bags so we did not bring any home with us. My sister had welts on her legs from being bit in the middle of the night. We asked for the manager to call us back that day. We received a call from the desk attendant saying the manager approved $40 off our stay equating to 25% off. Obviously, with our room being priced at over $150, $40 did not seem fair for all the trouble we had to do to now sort through our stuff when we got home. We later received an email from the manager saying they had "an in house inspector" check out our room and found nothing. Just because you don't visibly see them during the day, does not mean there are no bed bugs. We received another call from another desk attendant and that is when we spoke up asking for at least half our money back from our stay. We did not enjoy the free breakfast they offered, did not get to enjoy the pool, and instead rushed out of the hotel because we did not want to be there any longer. We asked to speak personally with the manager over the phone and it has been about 7 days and no word from anyone. We even sent pictures over email of the ones we took that morning, which are attached to this review. Utterly disgusting and very dissatisfied. Very disappointed in their manager and the managers refusal to call us personally.

Other than that, it's a dirty hotel, especially for the price about $85 a night after taxes. I've stayed in motel 6s that weren't this bad! Check in was easy, parking is ok. Come up to the room, went to shower, mold along the caulking all around the tub. After seeing that thinking ok, not horrible but still, looked under the sink, lots of dirt, and hair chunks. Went to lay down, pulled back sheets, it looks like they don't do well washing them at all. The doors in the hallway slam, constantly causing noises through the night. The AC somewhat works, and of course dirty, the floor is scuffed and damaged. Going down the stairs, completely dirty. Gave us 2 towels, wanted them to come in change sheets, they came in, put 2 towels and washcloths in, and left the room doing nothing else. DO NOT STAY HERE

We arrived at the hotel at 7am (with a reservation for the prior night) because it took us that long to drive there! The woman at the front desk was very nice, understanding, and accommodating to us! The friendliness of the staff elevated our stay to five stars! The hotel was clean and basic. We got a smoking room because of our dog and the room smelled as such when entering but it wasn't overpowering once in the room. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. We enjoyed the grab and go style of the breakfast since we were getting in the car for a long drive. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone traveling with their pet!

SUVs won't have any problem but some lower sedans and certainly sports cars may scrape at the entrance. We had made reservations online but did not find out until we checked in they were undergoing pretty extensive renovations. The lobby was blocked off and we had to use a courtesy phone to get the clerk's attention. She then came to a side window and completed the registration. She indicated the foyer we were currently in would be cleaned up by the next morning and they would have a limited breakfast available. This information should have been presented in the online registration portal to allow potential customers to make an informed decision as to whether they wanted to stay there, especially when there is another motel right next door. The room itself was nice. It was older but clean and had all the typical amenities anticipated. We were at the rear of the building so there was no road noise and the room was pretty quiet. The next morning the foyer area included only yogurt and packaged breakfast items. Again, this information was not available prior to booking and no price break was offered for the lack of the advertised breakfast option. This motel may be much improved when the renovations are complete, but potential customers staying during the renovations need to be told of the changes up front.

There are a few restaurant options relatively close by and there is a cool Covil War battlefield within minutes and something that you should check out if you stay at this hotel.
