I was initially told to wait, and when I returned at 4:15 PM, I was informed there had been an issue with another guest and that it would be another 30 minutes. Unfortunately, this delay extended significantly, and I did not receive access to my room until approximately 5:23 PM -- over two hours past the guaranteed check-in time. Traveling with a child made this delay even more difficult, and this level of inconvenience is unacceptable, especially for a stay that was LESS than 24 hours. My interaction with General Manager Nicole Jones was extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and rude!! When I inquired about compensation for the delay and inconvenience, her response came across as dismissive and unprofessional, which only added to the frustration of the situation. To make matters worse, when I finally entered the room, it was not in acceptable condition. The carpet had visible stains, raising concerns about cleanliness and calling into question why the room required such an extended delay! Between the delayed check-in, poor room condition, and lack of appropriate customer service from management, I will NEVER be returning to this location.

Just two days before check-in, we were informed that she tested positive for COVID-19. Out of concern for her health and the safety of our household--including a child still in school and working family members--we made the responsible decision not to travel. We immediately contacted the hotel to explain the situation and request a one-time exception to their 4-day cancellation policy due to this unexpected medical emergency. We even had documentation. Unfortunately, what we were met with was a complete lack of compassion and professionalism. When I spoke with the manager (Nicole), I was told she could not speak with me because there was already a case, and the call was abruptly ended before I could even explain the situation fully. This was not a case of poor planning or last-minute convenience. This was a health-related emergency involving an elderly family member with COVID-19. Policies are important, but so is basic human understanding--especially in situations like this. I am extremely disappointed in how this was handled and hope that someone at a higher level within Hilton will take the time to review this situation and do what is right.

We walked into our room and here's what we found: The toilet seat was up and there were old pee stains under the rim and old poop stains inside the toilet and a pubic hair on the back of the bowl. The toilet seat was also dirty, as was the tank lid. There was a spider crawling behind the towels. The bedside tables had sticky residue on them. The alarm clock looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years and was covered in dust. The bathroom door looked like it had dripped coffee dried on it. There was old hair in the bathtub. The bathroom countertops and trim were covered in a film of dust and crust. I ended up getting some cleaning supplies from our car and cleaned our room!!!! I almost couldn't stay there but we did not want to cause trouble. Also, we didn't trust that if we asked to change rooms that a new room would be any better. This is not the kind of thing that's random in a hotel; this is major problem kind of thing. We have never, ever, ever endured this type of dirtiness at a hotel and it's going to take a while to get over it.

The guests range from construction workers to business executives, but all of the long term and frequent guests get to know each other and socialize together. As a frequent traveler and visitor to the Lagrange area, I enjoy staying at a place that feels like home. The general manager (Donnie) and his team really go out of their way to be accommodating and to make their guests feel special. The hotel isn't fancy, but it's extremely clean and comfortable. Any issues or concerns are addressed promptly and I've never known of a security issue or problem. If you are visiting the Lagrange area, either on business or pleasure, I recommend the Country Inn and Suites. Just don't take my room! I'm going to need it because I'll be back soon.

Very accessible to any location you're traveling in. There is a Waffle House, Chick Fil A and other quick restaurants right next to the hotel. The hotel clerk was nice, somewhat slow but very courteous! As a businesswoman travelling solo, I felt safe here. I would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend it.

I stayed two nights and got yogurt parfaits both days for $13, which was kind of wild. The room was clean and updated. The only other downside was the train that runs through the night, and cars racing. It was hard to get a good night sleep. Not the hotels fault, but something to keep in mind. One night my tv was glitching, but it ended up fixing itself. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

Our last visit we had a minor cleaning issue, however, we were still comfortable. This location is right in the center of LaFayette Square, so shopping, dining, a park, and entertainment are all within 5 mins walking distance. Parking is FREE in a garage attached to the hotel. There is an on-site sports bar, and other amenities such as a pool, and gym. The staff is always helpful and pleasant, which is important to us as a family. We really enjoy visiting this hotel everything we come to LaGrange!

I barely made it to the parking area and got my rental car door open in time to vomit out the car door. I called the location and was told she would tell the manager and return my phone call. There was no response until I contacted corporate - "We'll make sure the sausage is ok in the future." Except for the stained carpet, cigarette smell, no maid service on Sunday night, and food poisoning, my stay was fine. Needless to say, the next time I'm in LaGrange to visit my family I'll choose another hotel. ZERO STARS!!
