1st hotel room was filthy and had what looked like rodent droppings. They looked at and said they were peanut bits. We said you can eat them. The next room the bed was dirty. We had to give up on this hotel. The staff only did what was minimally required and did not even want to acknowledge they messed up. They committed to refunding our money. Lets see if that happens. Unacceptable! We stayed in Room 407. There was a wide gap between the HVAC Unit in the outside wall. The temperature outside was in the teens and cold was pouring into the room. We put a towel over the gap to try to keep out the cold. The bathroom door was all beat up, and was crudely repaired. It needed to be replaced. The whole room was pretty rachet. The breakfast in the morning was poor at best. The best thing Comfort Inn has going for their breakfast offerings is the waffles. This Comfort Inn watered down the batter. The waffles were awful. Everything else as super cheap too. There were only a few yogurts out, and I have never seen such small containers. There were 4 hard-boiled eggs, and they looked gross. We have had similar poor experiences with Comfort Inns the last few times we have stayed there, so now they are going off our list of acceptable hotels. Looks like we will be sticking with Holiday Inn Express going forward. read more

Terrible experience, will never go back. They gave us a broken room. I waited an hour for someone to show up to fix our door. They tried to fix it for like an hour and a half and it still didn't work. Door completely off the hinges (see pic). I hated everything about this experience. Kavia and the manager lady made my experience terrible by fighting with me about how to fix the problem. Kavia was very rude to me and when I spoke to the manager lady the next day she started yelling at me that they had to pay a fine for a bad review instead of helping me. I said I would take it down if she helped but she said it's too late. It was too late for me, but it's not too late for you! Book elsewhere. Td;dr The worst customer service of my life, I will never come back to Comfort Inn. A motel is better. Not friendly to black queer people. read more

The customer service was good. Front desk reps are responsive and attentive. The building is nice but definitely older. Pretty clean with no pungent smells. Easy to navigate for handicapped individuals. Room 105 in adjoins to the fitness room and is also handicap accessible with walk-in shower and king sized bed. Room has TV, microwave, fridge, desk, lounge chair, luggage rack, iron, ironing board. Room was clean. Continental breakfast is pretty good. Rooms are reasonably priced especially if you're an elite or medium to top tier member for Priceline, Hotels.com or the like. I paid $96.xx for one night through Priceline VIP membership. Parking lot gets filled quick. Has amenities nearby like gas station and restaurants that stay open late. It's located in close proximity to the freeway. Very quiet. Able to rest peacefully. I would stay here again. I definitely recommend it for the price and quality. read more

It is tucked next to a "hilton" and in a decent location on route 19 next to everything you essentially need in life... But the hotel has your typical stench like every other hotel and other less classier things that we legally have to accept but for the price and a no hassle reservation its definitely worth staying at for a night or two if you have things to go out and do It is within walking distance to a shooting range... A great convenience store with tasty made to order food including pizza... And also within walking distance to bob evans. The hotel is newer style and the beds are comfortable just hope your housemaid actually changed the bedding. Oh and there is also a large warehouse style beer distributor within 50 feet of the building. read more

I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. For the price ($89 on booking .com), it was a good stay. The room was a good size and clean. it did have a slightly off (musty?) smell when we first arrived and entered the room. The bed was comfortable. The included breakfast is sufficient. It is a basic chain hotel breakfast - boxes of cereal, oatmeal packets you can prepare, yogurt, a waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, fruit, bagels, pastries, muffins. I brought my own food, so can't comment on how it was. The man working the front desk was friendly and helpful when we checked in and I had questions about the local area. Comfortable and clean! The two women and the front desk (one during check in one during check out) were both friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is when we got into the room at about 10:30 PM, we heard a strange noise while walking in and turns out our coffee machine was on and brewing hot water. Filthy. Stained sheets with holes in them. Nasty film over furniture. Rust in all the cracks in the walls and door frames. Found bugs in my suitcase when I got home. This hotel looks nothing like the photos online. Overall laziness on behalf of the staff. Stay at your own risk and if you do risk it, you are advised to bring your own pillow, towels and blanket. We stayed here last weekend with our golden retriever and were very happy with everything. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping and a multitude of restaurants not to mention the interstate is nearby so it only took us about 15 minutes to get to downtown Pittsburgh. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet, we never heard any of the other guests staying above or beside us. There is a decent hot breakfast each morning that varies daily - the first day they had scrambled eggs, the following day they had cheese omelettes and the older lady who is in charge of the breakfast area was very friendly, she told hubby about several local favorites we should check out while in town. The parking lot is well lit with lots of areas we could take our dog out to relieve himself and the staff really makes you feel welcome. The only thing that was at all annoying was how loud the ice machine was, I can't imagine staying in a room close by it that's for sure, my dog acted like fireworks were going off whenever we used the elevator (the ice machine is basically beside it). We originally came to to visit Pittsburgh and check out all their Christmas displays but discovered several nice parks in the area so we are looking forward to returning in the spring to do some exploring and will definitely stay here. read more

I stayed one night with my boyfriend. The room wasn't bad especially for the price. We had a lot of room and it was pretty quiet. Check in was fast and the lady at the desk was extremely nice. Check in went really smoothly too and the other woman working was so kind. My only complaint is that it was not the cleanest looking. There was a small blood stain under the bed sheet and wine stains on the floor. The shower looked a little rusty. I'm crazy with germs, so I brought my own blankets and pillow anyway. read more

RUDE COMPANY FOR WHAT? your place is DISGUSTING so what you got to be so hateful for? if you want a nice comfort inn to stay at, go to the one in Belle Vernon.. the absolute BEST hotel experience of my life. My bathroom was completely flooded which in itself would seem awful. My phone didn't work so I had to go down from the 5th floor to the 1st floor. The front desk clerk apologized and said he is going to get "Bill" and he had a sense of urgency. I made my way upstairs and Bill arrived within 5 minutes and that was end of the "good service" I received. I felt I was completely calm after my bathroom flooded after we just settled in with 3 kids and had an early morning ahead of us. Bill's response was "this looks bad and I can't do anything about it now so I'll see if I can move you but that means I have 1 less room I can sell." I didn't acknowledge him because I was hoping that was his attempt at humor and he really wasn't complaining about having to move me. So he said wait there and he'll be back. After 20 minutes our room phone rings (the same one I said was broken) so we pick up but we can't hear anything. 10 minutes later Bill comes and apologizes for the wait and let's us know he had to check in 3 guest. He gave us keys to a room on the 1st floor right next to the lobby which is packed because there is a basketball tournament this weekend (which is why we were there). So knowing I have 3 kids with me and we were in our PJs he thinks this is a good idea. He also comes up with no cart. Just drops off the keys and thats it. But wait there is more. I grab my kids and bags and go to the 1st floor and my key doesn't work. I tell Bill and he checks my keys and comes to the door and says "You have to pull up. The key was fine!" Swings the door open and leaves. I almost loss it but I didn't quite yet. I say "hey Bill", Bill says "sorry I can't hear you" and back peddles away. I then lose it and I follow Bill to the front desk to ask how is he going to make it right and he says sorry I have to answer the phone. I ask who is more important the customer in front of you or someone calling and he says both. That is when I realized that I just had to deal with the room right next to the loud lobby. I emailed the GM about my experience and I have not even received an acknowledgement and it's been 4 days. I would never go back. read more
