What a great place to stay. The staff was friendly. We had a great conversation with the day manager who also cares very much about your stay experience. Breakfast was EXCELLENT with a wide variety including waffles, scrambled eggs, sautéed onions and green peppers with sliced potatoes (nice and moist not dried out) buttery gravy, sausage links and big fresh burritos. All the other staples including waffles. Extra attention and effort is notable throughout the motel including swan shaped tools in the pool, fanned tissue in the tissue box a fancy fold to the toilet paper and a special surprise on the bath tub that includes a complimentary yellow duck :) The room was clean, bed comfortable. What a wonderful stay. we drove in from Iowa for a wedding. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clea and well kept. The towels are all folded so cute and a rubber duck in the tub. Breakfast was good, heavy on the carbs, but plenty of options. All staff we encountered was helpful and friendly. Husband used the hot tub no complaints there. I didn't have time to try out the hot tub. Give thus hotel a try. read more

So the road to this was full of potholes! You need a tank to get here! So we checked in and the room was good and it looked like this! The bed was comfortable! But I got no sleep and that's what a hotel is for! The air conditioning units were so loud! I turned off the unit and I heard the unit running next door! I got no sleep the units were so loud! I know the hotel was trying to save money but not at the cost of the customer, really! It was a bad investment! One of the best Choice hotels I've seen in a small town. This place was amazingly clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of pillows, towels etc. The pool area was very well stocked and clean. We enjoyed our stay so much we are planning to stay again on our return trip. I was traveling with my daughter, two granddaughters and my service dog. This was the perfect place for an overnight visit in Fort Morgan. The restaurant next door, The Mav, was excellent as well. This place will actually rob you. I made a reservation online and when I got the confirmation I noticed it was accidentally for the wrong date so I called them and said "hey, I accidentally booked this for the wrong date about 2 minutes ago, can you please switch the date from today to friday" they said they would have to cancel it and rebook it which I said was fine as long as there wasn't going to be a fee which I was clearly told - no there wouldn't be. When I looked at my statement they charged me $110 for having to "cancel" my reservation and when I called to talk to someone they just said yeah it's not a fee, they charged me the entire room rate for a night I didn't even stay. When I asked to speak to a manager they said no one was available so I left my call back number and no one has ever called me back. If I could give them negative stars I would. read more

I took our high school basketball teams to Raymer for a tournament and we stayed in Ft. Morgan at the Comfort Inn. What a pleasure it was to work with Kendra Dobbins and her staff. They made group reservations really simple. I took care of the contract via email and when we arrived they gave us the keys. No paperwork to sign, it was seamless. Upon entering our rooms we found gift bags with water bottles and snacks along with "Swishing you Good Luck" labels. Kendra even setup a fantastic pizza buffet for us with the pies coming from the Mav. This hotel has earned our patronage any time we travel to the plains. read more

I'm withholding 1 star because the outer doors were not locked, which is a security issue & should never happen. Seems to be common these days, though (not sure why). I recently drove across the country & learned just how gross brand-name motels can be, so I was absolutely delighted to find the Comfort Inn in Ft. Morgan was so terrific. Clean, thoughtfully appointed and Melissa at the front door was a BRILLIANT one-man-band. I watched her juggle 3 things at once & no one felt ignored or let down in any way. Since I left at 4:00 a.m., I missed the breakfast (gotta get on the road early!) but I enjoyed the other little touches (seriously? a rubber ducky? too cute). Things like lemon water in the lobby & fabulous cookies, available all day (it seemed to me, anyway). Melissa immediately understood how exhausted & frazzled I was & went to work making me smile, laugh & relax. she processed my reservation quickly & I was on my way. Highly recommended. read more

Very friendly hotel staff. My issue was more with the cleanliness. I turned on the light and saw an adult roach scatter on a desk. Called front desk. They immediately placed me in another room. New room seemed fine until I woke up to a baby roach crawling in my bed covers. So I take off the bed lining to find food particles that were not mine. Couldn't sleep after that. read more

OK, previously I have been a Hampton Inn loyalist when staying in Fort Morgan. But they were booked up this week, so I stayed at the Comfort Inn. And now I'm re-thinking my loyalties! The Comfort Inn is further away from the sugar beet factory - an important consideration during sugar beet processing time. The beds are comfy, the wifi is free (& the login process is relatively painless), & the breakfast - while officially available starting at 6:00 AM - is reliably available at 5:30 AM. The lobby & public spaces appear to be relatively recently updated. There's an indoor pool that's larger than I expected. My room had both a microwave & a small refrigerator, important considerations for travelers making longer stays (you will tire of FM's handful of restaurants very quickly). One tip: iPhone's GPS for 1417 Barlow Road will take you to the wrong side of I-76. If you're headed EAST on I-76 & exiting at Exit 82, go left under the interstate to find the hotel. If you're exiting from Westbound I-76 at Exit 82, the Comfort Inn will be right in front of you. read more

It was up todate with all the amenities from refrigerator, microwave, Kcup coffee maker, smart phone charger stations, plenty of pillows (soft and firm), indoor pool, hot tub, and full breakfast all included in your room rate. Wow what a class act, we had a couple of request regarding our stay and they were met them with flying colors, the room was great, clean, great beds, great showers, secure WIFI. The pool was clean the hot tub was super refreshing. And when you talk about a CLASS ACT......"Tory" the front desk is a real pro, we are Choice Privileges Members and Tory had a welcome sign in the lobby with my name on it, hey that was a real nice touch, we got to our room and there was a nice little gift from the staff. This is a must stay hotel.... We will be back in the fall..... We are also going to Call Choice Privileges in the Morning and write our review on there site.... Wonderful place to stay! Staff is very friendly. Rooms are nice, they look new. We had their breakfast...... very good. A large variety of Breakfast items. Warm & hot! We had Wings and Pizza delivered to our room from the Cafe next door the night we got there. So nice not having to go out for it after traveling from Salt lake to Fort Morgan. read more

Decided after using Yelp! to read reviews, I needed to contribute some of my own! The main reason I decided to start here was the front desk staff. These girls were great!! I am in the process of moving cross country and needed a place to stay for the night. I arrived at the hotel well after midnight (October 11) and the girl at the front desk couldn't have been nicer (I regret not getting names). She was so cheerful and very polite, and even gave me a little bit of a deal since I was arriving so late. I had the same experience the next morning with a different desk clerk, cheerful and courteous, and supplied me with a toothbrush and deodorant as I couldn't find mine in all my boxes. The hotel itself was super clean, very quiet and I felt very safe leaving a fully packed car outside. The king size bed and pillows were so comfortable, just what I needed after a long drive. The nicest touch of all? An adorable little rubber ducky nestled in your towels! I doubt I will ever have occasion to stay at this particular hotel again, but if you need a clean, safe place to lay your head in a comfortable bed a, this is the place. OK, so it isn't super grand and then didn't expect 4-star accommodation. But I travel extensively for work and this is near the bottom of a very deep bucket Breakfast is stuff you'd grab off a shelf in 7-11 and they are so sanitary their containers haven't even had the original stickers removed from when they purchased them, so you know they've never been washed. Internet is useless. I'm not talking occasional buffering when playing hidef Netflix videos, I'm talking reliving the grand ol days of 9600 bps dialup. I can't even check my email because the connection times out. I ran a test attempting to download a 100mb file from softlayer and got an average throughput of 9.72KB/s. My VPN can't maintain a connection and even browsing text news sites is a challenging test of patience. Add in the fact you can hear all of your neighbors next to and above you and this is a hotel to avoid. read more

This is a bargain in that you get twice the hotel for your money. It was clean, comfortable, and accomadating with free generous breakfast, workout room (I was the only one I saw use it everyday) and an indoor pool. The front desk people were exceptionally helpful and quick to find solutions to my travel questions. Great deal for the money. read more
