Do yourself a favor and stay ANYWHERE but here unless you want to sleep in a filthy room and be berated, insulted and laughed at by the owner, who is also the manager. We checked in late at night after driving for many hours on our way across the country. The front desk girl was helpful and welcoming, but it went downhill from there. After we hauled all our bags upstairs (there's no elevator), we got to our room and started to get settled. We noticed a few issues with the room (a pubic hair on the toilet, an old mushroom from someone's pizza on the floor, various stains and splatters on the walls). My boyfriend went down to get ice and see if anyone was at the desk but no one was there. We decided that the rest of the room was comfortable enough that we'd just tolerate the lack of cleanliness and get some sleep before we continued our journey in the morning. We pulled back the blankets to reveal multiple stains. We had a room with two beds so we checked the second bed and the sheets were not as stained but the blanket was disgusting with greenish stains and long, white hairs. Since the blanket wouldn't make direct contact with us we said fine, let's just sleep. When we woke up we noticed our shampoo was half empty, used by the previous guest, the hair dryer was disgustingly dirty as was the bottom of the tub. I decided not to even bother showering before our 13-hour drive. At 10:52, our phone rang and a man barked, "check out is at 11!" I said, "yes, but it's 10:52." He kept barking, "check out is at 11!" so I said, "yes, we'll be out by 11 but you're calling me 8 minutes before 11 while we're trying to get our things together." We would have been at the desk at 11 had we not been interrupted. We left the room at 11:02 and had some trouble getting our luggage down the stairs, then when we got to the desk no one was there. When the owner/manager arrived he pointed out that it was 11:09. He wasted our time by calling us before check-out time, it took us several minutes to get down the stairs and then we waited for him to get to the desk. As a former hotel front desk manager myself, I understand how it feels to constantly listen to complaints and to deal with unreasonable guests. For this reason I always make an effort to let small issues slide and to be kind when I do have to complain. The owner of this property was hostile to my boyfriend the moment he approached the front desk. I showed him the photos of the room issues and his response was, "no problem, no problem," which he said over and over again. We didn't know what that meant and then it became clear that he meant those issues were not actually problems worth addressing. He said, "does your car not have dust in it?" So by his logic, since our car has dust in it, it's okay for the hotel room we paid $100 to stay in to be dirty and have other people's hair, food and stains in it. He also said, "you have hair on your head, don't you?" I said, "yes, but not long, white hair." He rolled his eyes and made it clear that he was not going to apologize. He actually blamed us, stating that we should have checked out (in the middle of the night after a 7-hour drive before we had to get on the road for a 13-hour drive) if we didn't like the room. What's funny is that we didn't even ask for anything and we probably would have accepted a sincere apology had one been offered. Because he yelled at us, insulted us and laughed at our concerns, we contacted Wyndham corporate and expect to be refunded for the unacceptable accommodations and for being treated like dirt by the owner of this property, who is representing Wyndham in the worst possible way. I don't expect a Super 8 to be perfect, but I do expect my room to be clean and if it isn't, I expect to be treated respectfully when I bring it to the manager's attention. STAY AWAY! read more

I arrived with my reservation already paid for via booking.com the asian man behind the desk would not honor it. Then he started saying "You cancel" , you not pay" I showed him that I had paid. He then shuts this roller blind so as to not speak to me anymore. I dial Zero on the phone and he picks up and I get him to open the blind thing again and then he starts getting irate with me again. I am here on business in a suit and he is talking disrespectfully to me so I called the POLICE on him. When the officer gets there she informs me that she gets calls on this guy all the time. The officer goes in to talk to the guy and he is not respectful to her either.....She tells me it's not criminal so there is nothing she can do....Then another officer comes up a male and he says the same thing that this guy has been doing this for years. He files a report on him for me. I call booking.com to have the rep talk to the desk guy (the owner he said he was). and while the booking.com rep talks to the owner he starts talking crazy to her as well. After the booking.com rep heard him talking crazy they canceled the reservation and I booked at Comfort in about 1 mile away and it went fine. The rooms A/C did not work. We all slept in a room that was 85+. My 3 co-workers and I came in to stay so we could go to a meeting in the morning in Denver. We waited for The front desk to open and when they did no one was there, you had to call 0. When I called, the man came to the front desk and was very rude! We stayed in a 2 Queen size bed room, and they only gave us 3 towels. We proceeded to mention This to him, he then clears his throat and points at a sign that says they don't give extra towels. This was not an extra towel! 2 Queen size beds fight 4 adult people! Which means you should give 4 towels. Very unprofessional and would never go back. read more

I loved this place so much, we stayed both ways on our trip from Cali to Iowa and back. Everybody was super nice! Good conversation. One of our kids couldn't hold it. Thankfully there was a washer and dryer available! They had a cute little breakfast bar with a yummy do-it-yourself waffle maker. They had nice seating areas in the lobby. Perfect for studying or having breakfast. Free WiFi, and a family of 8 for less than $100... We will be staying there on our next trip. read more

Exactly what you would expect from a super 8.. It was a little loud but the place was fully booked so that's understandable. Needed a place to crash on my move across the country and was looking for something cheap.. When I heard the rate of 86 I thought it was a little much for a motel so I left to go check out the motel down the street. Needless to say I ended up back at the super 8 and there was a sign up.. No vacancies. I had been there about 10 min previous so I figured I'd at least ask if they has anything bc there was no way I as making it all the way to Denver without falling asleep at the wheel. The front desk clerk was VERY kind and informed me that he had put the sign up with one room left bc he was worried I might be back. I was soo thankful he did. This was such a disappointment! The grounds were in disrepair, the breakfast was meager at best with only a couple of small tables for eating. My room smelled bad and the bed creaked each time I moved, waking me numerous times during the night. The tub faucet leaked but since there was only two hand towels, two washcloths and no bath towel I chose to not shower. There was no one at the front desk to check me out so I sat down with my Egg McMuffin but when I went to warm it in the microwave, as there wasn't one in the room, it was filthy. As you loaded my car, a man who is seen carrying sheets in the hall approached me and acme of taking his towels!!! Horrible! The only thing that was ok was the service on the tv... Other then that the room had been smoked in we were up sneezing all night beds terrible no elevator (3flights of stairs) over priced and breakfast was a joke that I was not even willing to stay for .. The most healthy choice they had was some brown bananas. Coffee was good. Nov 18, 2018. I work nights at the local hospital, and because of the weather I chose to stay in Fort Morgan, CO instead of driving home to Johnstown, CO. I called this hotel and spoke to a very pleasant young woman to make the reservation. I made sure she understood that I would be checking in at 6:30a.m. and checking out at 5:30pm that afternoon. I had done this several times last winter with no problem. At 11:00am I get a call from the front desk stating it is check out time. I paid $80.00 for 3 hours, rather expensive for a 1 star hotel. After arguing with this rude, angry man, whom I assume was the manager, for a few minutes I said I would leave. I went to the front desk and yes I threw the key card into the office. He was yelling at me, "No no you not leave police are coming" I am a 65 yr old grandmother but the vile man thought I was a threat to him. After dropping a few eff bombs I exited the building. The police did come he said there was nothing he could do. Do not stay at this hotel!!!!! Go a few extra miles down the highway there is another hotel just 5 miles away. read more

Rude Rude Rude do not stay here!!!!! Smelled like a Chinese food restaurant, the rooms were fly infested. When we asked for receipt for our stay they didnt want to give us one, but we finally got one. Was quoted $224 extra $100 for a deposit was only returned $76 and some change. We returned after a few days requested a receipt to show they refunded the $100 deposit seen it was only $76 and asked way was told we were charged for 4 days instead of 3 days the manager grabbed receipt from me wadded it up and threw it at me, there was plexy glass but none the same he threw it at me. We returned when shift changed so we could speak to someone that spoke better English, the girl was immediately hostile towards us, she took out a calculator to show us we were wrong I told her those numbers still didnt add up to our what was on our receipt and she was outraged we dare question her she threatened to call the police and refused to give us our receipt back, kept telling us to calm down we were not uncalm when we told her we would wait for the police she finally gave us our receipt back and told us to get the f%#k out and called me A effing Ct. The $76 was returned to our credit card. I called corporate a few hour later recieved an email from the hotel staff claiming they never charged us for 4 days a complete total different story. I believe the hotel manager and the one desk clerk are keeping part of the $100 deposit the hotel charges. True we didnt complain while staying there but were not happy with the conditions no ice bucket no cups were told there was a continental breakfast there was none. I had to leave a 1 star review to have this post I dont think they deserve any stars. There was one nice desk clerk there during our stay, she worked at a local grocery store during the day was there after she got off work from that store but that is the only good thing I will say about this hotel! Great little motel; not too far out of the hustle and bustle of Denver. We enjoyed our stay here and would put it back on the map as a destination for travel again.
