Our room was clean- we got a king suite with a pullout couch. For a suite there was not a separation- the pullout couch was across from the bed-the pullout couch was the size of a love seat it was very hard couch. Shower was nice, barn door on the bathroom. No dresser to put clothes- did have a closet. Pillows were terrible- needed 2 and they were still flat - we could have used 4 each- Towel's were scratchy. The shampoo, soap, body wash and lotion were really nice! Breakfast was good- so much variety. BAD- they let someone bring their dog in the food area!

We stopped in for a two night stay. We were greeted with bright smiles and cheerful attitudes…read more Payton was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Our room was ideal. We have a service dog and got a first floor room on the end so it was easy to dash out for potty breaks for him. The room appeared to have been recently renovated. Except for the carpet, everything was very clean. ( I don't think I have ever liked walking barefoot on hotel carpet. It's always sticky. It is probably very difficult to maintain with all the traffic.) The room had a slightly musty odor. So much so that I asked Hosia with housekeeping for some baking soda and to borrow his vacuum. He was very kind, soft-spoken, and helpful. I sprinkled it rather well, let it sit, then vacuumed it up. Now, the reason I asked to do it myself was because when my service dog has his vest off, that's his down time to be playful and relax, but also he,like any dog, reacts to a stranger in his personal space by barking. A stranger in the room especially with a vacuum would have made him to be loud and disturb others so that's why I did the vacuuming. I did not WANT anyone else in the room for that reason. And I am capable to use a vacuum by myself. Just as I finished, Hosia comes to the room and says he needs the vacuum. He looks a little urgent. He said he was not allowed to let a guest use it (his supervisor was standing right there when we all greed I could.) but apparently the general manager jumped on them about it and, honestly, that infuriated me. He and his supervisor were very kind to us and helping us with the odor. I cannot use febreze or Lysol or any fragrances due to severe sensitivity so the baking soda was a good choice and helped a lot. She should have thought that through. I would have gladly given her a THOROUGH explanation and defended the staff and their actions. And Hosia, housekeeping, and Payton all deserve recognition for their guest service's ability. The GM, however, needs a lesson in listening, understanding the dynamics of having a dog (of any kind) in a hotel, and customer accommodation and satisfaction. Aside from that the stay was great. The grounds are very well kept and safe to walk the dog day or night. There's a place to dispose of poop bags and it's all well lit. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the general manager's ignorance.

I have only seen 2 of the guest rooms so far but both are lovely! I am staying in the Bella which is the bridal suite. It is gorgeous & has an enclosed sleeping porch, now the sitting room. The furnishings are so cute and the bed is super comfy!! I slept like a baby last night which rarely happens if I am staying at a chain hotel. I love the claw foot bathtub, which also has a shower in case you don't have time for a nice relaxing bath. I also love the toiletries they stock in the bathroom. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash & lody lotion all smell fabulous! They also include other essentials like makeup remover wipes, shower cap, etc. They even have some bath salts that smell fabulous if you have time to enjoy a nice bath. Unfortunately this trip is for business so, I havent had much relaxation time. Also, my hubby could not join me this time due to his work, but we will definitely have to come back on a weekend to enjoy this wonderful place together. Since I had to be at my client site at 7:00 AM, I did not get to enjoy the full sit down breakfast this morning but Teresa & Craig packed me a nice go-to b-fast bag packed with all sorts of goodies including juice, bagel with cream cheese, a banana, and a delish Kind bar & even put a nice go-to coffee cup out for me so that I could take my coffee on the road. Also, I must say in this day & age I am very concerned about cleanliness at the big chain hotels and this place is immaculate! I have already booked some return trips as I am working on a project in the area for the next several weeks. I am sooo glad I found this place and would highly recommend it! Looking forward to my next stay! :-)

While making my way here I was a little worried but 10 seconds after meeting the innkeeper I was so glad I booked here. The inn is a beautiful, restored turn of the century home with huge magnolia trees on either side. The innkeepers take care of you and will accomodate any dietary or schedule needs you may have. If you are a light sleeper, use the provided earplugs to avoid getting woken up by the occasional train passing through at night. It didn't bother me at all. A comfortable room, a free upgrade, delicious breakfasts, and friendly, attentive service made for a very enjoyable stay. Looks like a nice spot for weddings and other events, too. Highly reccomended!

Unless you are an…read moreundocumented construction worker, a refugee from a homeless shelter, or seeking a low-rent (*really* low-rent!) rendezvous, avoid this motel like the plague. The building itself is a standard Red Roof Inn (probably dating from the chain's founding in 1973) - which is likely the last time it saw any effort at renovations. People were constantly walking past the room at all hours, including barking dogs and loud children. There is no breakfast, just a [non-commercial] coffee machine in the lobby / check-in area. (Mercifully, there is a Waffle House next door.) Worst of all, they required a credit card over the phone for check-in to reserve the room. Only upon checking in were we told there was NO Internet and NO TV available. Drive further or sleep in your car - both better options than this dump.

It was halfway between our starting point and our destination for a recent trip and for just at $100 (cheap for inflation years) this met all of our needs. Check in is done via drive through which is a new one for me but it was super convenient and quick. Very friendly service as well. Our room was clean, quiet, and had the basic amenities (in room single pot coffee, fridge, shower with decent water pressure, AC unit that helped keep things cool and served as a noise machine. Bed was decent, seemed somewhat new. Free basic breakfast served in the AM in the lobby. No complaints! Note-- this is located on a main strip across from fast food spots and gas stations. Both Google Maps and Apple Maps led us to the middle of nowhere blocks away and it took Waze to get us here for some reason.
