I did not understand how these stretching and posture exercises could help reduce the pain. I was wrong. The therapist targeted my exercises and stretching to alleviate my specific pain issues. The staff was confident, friendly and extremely thorough. They asked the right questions, evaluated my images and concerns. I experienced a slight reduction of pain after my very first session. Today, after four weeks of sessions, I feel like a brand new woman. My pain has been significantly reduced and I feel great. He gave me so many tips that were helpful to me in my daily physical struggles, and he gave great massages too! The equipment and facility was beyond my expectations. A big shout out to the receptionist and super multitasker Sabreen, who was genuinely sweet and knowledgable. The entire staff worked well together and helped each other out. Help button was pushed many times but no one ever came and when they did they were told the help button wasnt working and they claimed it was until we finally got someone to double check come to find out it was not working the whole time. They neglect requests to be seen by a doctor. They neglect changing them or bathing them. They do not help them brush their teeth at all! They're not helpful when it comes to feeding time and need help. Being short staffed wasn't the issue if I see five to six just sitting around on their phones, even if they were it don't give them the right to be a shitty human being with no compassion.

BUT, I was very favorably impressed during my father-in-law's month-long stay. The receptionists are pleasant, the facility is clean and pleasant (I appreciated TABLECLOTHS on the dining room tables, and live music during FREE ice cream socials!). They'll happily label your laundry for you, and the rehab facility is just plain impressive. The very BEST thing is the staff. Dad's main nurse, Moses, was AWESOME; knowledgable, welcoming, diligent. The rehab people and social workers are great. I appreciated so many friendly and helpful people there! (The night and weekend staff could be sparse and a little... uhh... lackadaisical... but that's honestly what I expected to see across the board, given prior experiences elsewhere.) If anything needs improvement, it's communication. Therapy staff contacted us once or twice with great information, and the head of therapy made time to answer my extensive questions, but it'd be great if families and patients knew to expect a weekly update call, and if therapy schedules could be posted on patient whiteboards ahead of time (Dad complained of having naps interrupted at random times). But overall, a very happy experience with Shelby. Thanks to everyone there!

The first ban upset my mother greatly, so he let it go. Now, she is dying, and HR called to inform me I am no longer allowed because I asked about spending the night. She only has days, maybe week or so, no one knows. she has een my mother since i was 3 years old when my mother died. I am her sons only child and he died in 1984. The power of attorney wants nothing to do with her family. Her daughter her sister or me. Please tell me that there is some law someone who can help me have this overturned before i lose her forever and can not say goodbye. I can not even speak with her on the phone due to hearing loss. Patients who fall out of bed are punished by putting that person in a wheelchair and moved to the…read morenurses station for 2 hours. That is cruel and unusual punishment. Once I'm better I will never come back here. I'm the customer not a child. I don't like being treated and threatened like a child. I am paying about $220 a day to stay here so I am the customer! And I expect to be treated with respect. The nurse who did this to me needs to have sensitivity training. And have compassion for her customers.
