Appreciated the installation and installers but was turned off by the sales approach.

No one ever called to check how satisfied we were with installation or any issues we had. Shower doors were installed wrong where we had to be in shower to turn on water and check temp etc, I had to make my own adjustment to doors and change handles etc after spending 13,000 plus. Also had to make cosmetic changes to trim work where it was done unprofessionally. There was no follow up at all. My own fault because their showroom was even unimpressive which should have been a red flag... read more

Felt like I was transported back to the 1950s. I called to schedule a consultation to convert our bathtub to an accessible walk-in shower for my elderly mother who lives with us. I was asked if there was any other people in the house who would aid in the decision making. I explained that I was married but that I was making the decision on this project. And since my husband and I have different work schedules (he works nights and I work days) that there was no good time to meet with us both. They would not schedule the consultation with me if they could not meet with both me and my husband. Really? Do you honestly think that in 2024 women cannot make a home-improvement decision on their own? Your business must be doing fantastic to be that selective on who you will "allow" to be your customer. read more

I see these other reviews and I'm not sure why they are low. We had a great experience. The gentleman that came to our home to show us options was very knowledgeable and helpful, gave us a good price and discount. I felt he really knew all the info and answered all our questions. Then the install team came and worked diligently for three days to get our very old and dysfunctional bath out and this new shower surround in. They even ran into an issue with our drain and under-floor ...basically there was nothing under the old tub! So 1 extra day for a new cement floor and rerouting of a drain that was not placed correctly originally and a very low cost. The new space is so much better and the contractors were very communicative, polite and knew what they were doing. Very happy customers here! Now I just need to paint the walls gray. ;) read more

Frank and Jorge came to my home for my walk-in shower installation. They took great care during both the tear out and the installation. I happen to like watching craftsmen doing their jobs, and Frank was friendly and patient, answering all my questions. My new shower looks fantastic.Everything was installed with precision. The installation took one day. From my initial consultation with the sales representative to the installation date, about 6 weeks passed. Overall I am very pleased and would recommend anyone ato ask for Frank and Jorge to be the craftsmen assigned to their project. read more

I set up an appointment 5 days ago online. Immediately, a rep called and confirmed my desire for a quote and took my details and scheduled the appointment. Two days later I got a text and VM asking me to call to confirm my appointment - a reasonable request. Today, at the scheduled time, the sales rep appeared at my door on time. I EXPECTED TO SPEND 90 minutes with the sales rep - that was the agreement. I showed him the bathroom, explained my goals and BUDGET and he confirmed he could work within my budget. We went through the product education and truthfully, it's not that bad - it's visual and maybe a little more than one might want to spend time on, but hey, it's their way of making sure we understand the 'product and process'. In the end, the quote provided was a little beyond my budget, but within reason. Not sure I will go with this company yet, but I have no issue thus far with the customer service or sales approach. I think it's important for clients to be prepared to dedicate the requested amount of time and attention to sales folk. They are just executing their job the way they are trained to solicited business according to the company's business model. p.s. I finally had Tiger Bath Solutions install a new tub and surround. After pricing many of the other businesses which remodel baths, we chose this one over a year ago but my wife did not want to spend the money at that time. Just over a year passes and I called Tiger Bath Solutions. It took over four months to get it installed. The installers were marvelous. Everything was precise. They took their time with measurements and cutting. They corrected any plumbing problems or challenges. Everything, to install a new tub, new tub surround and plumbing, was done within nine hours. No muss. No fuss. I never received any of freebies advertised on television either the first time nor when I had the job done. I will use them again Tiger is a portion of Window Works. Used them twice. Once for a patio door and second for five windows. The workmanship was great and quick. Do not expect free gIft card UNLESS you call using the television promotion telephone number. No manner what the salesperson says, they have no control. Changing FIVE stars to THREE. Just what I expect from any company. Nothing spectacular as I was thought. read more

I need a bathtub replaced in my condo and the two companies that come up when you Google "bathtub replacement chicago" are Jacuzzi and Comfort Shower and Bath. Turns out these are actually the same company. They wouldn't give me a quote because I only needed the bathtub replaced, not a full remodel (even though their website specifically mentions bathtub replacement). I also asked for a quote to turn the bathtub into a shower and they wouldn't give me that either. When I called they said they don't do "commercial" properties (I'm in a three story walk up), only single family homes and townhomes. I'm leaving this review because I found their advertising to be incredibly deceptive. read more

We used Tiger Bath for our master bathroom shower in June of 2017 and were really happy. We were leaving on vacation the next day so couldn't use the shower till we came home. Had a problem with a trim piece outside the shower that moved a little, probably because I didn't wait long enough to put up the tension rod for the shower curtain. They sent out a guy, and he fixed it. It looks clean and shiny which is honestly all I asked for. Today I had a Tiger Bath replace the tub in our other bathroom. The same two guys did the installation and were great. They cleaned up when they were done tearing out my old raunchy tub and tile walls and installing new plumbing and the acrylic walls and ceilings. I love it! I'll post a picture if I can figure out how because it's beautiful. It's too bad if you don't use them, because our experience was really good. read more

Tiger Bath was great to work with from start to finish! Our sales rep explained everything without a hard sell. The office staff was always friendly and courteous. I live in a condo which has very strict rules, and someone from Tiger Bath handled all of the complex issues with the building management. The men who did the installation were very efficient. On their website it reads "Have a new bathroom as soon as tomorrow." Well, when the sales man came to talk me into this fabulous shower, I was told that the turn around is 6-8 weeks. I figured, ok, I can wait that long though I don't like to read "next day" and then have to wait for a month. This all was in August of 2018. After a few bogus "Your shower is in production" calls, I finally pined one of their customer service people down to give me a friking date for installation. It will be end of November!!! I counted exactly 12 weeks!!! from the day they took my deposit to the day of the upcoming installation, which will also take two days (I was told). There is so much more that I can say about this frustrating process. Unless this shower is all they promised it will be, I will not change my rating. I am tired of being lied to when I'm spending so much money. They really owe me a discount for having been so patient but they are not even entertaining the thought of bringing an extra soap dish I asked for unless I pay for t upfront. I don't even know if I need it but I wanted the option of having it if I want it without having to have them come back and having to wait another 12 weeks! I truly wish there was an option to go with ZERO stars.Tiger Bath Solutions is the worst excuse for company that i have ever seen or had the displeasure of dealing with. My upstairs shower developed a leak that resulted in damage to the sub floor. I had seen Tiger Bath commercials on TV do decided to call them. The salesmen came out and took a look at the area in question and gave his presentation.  He took several basic measurements and wrote the work order out of what was to be done. (Remove the existing shower and basin, fix the floor, install a new  enclosed shower, replace my existing bath tub and wrap  and cover the surrounding old ceramic tile that was around the tub.  After several rounds of negotiations we agreed on price and signed a contract. I was told that the contract price was set in stone and the ONLY thing could change that was there was mold that needed to be treated when they started the project. I also wrote a 500.00$ check as down payment for the project which they promptly deposited.  A week or two later another rep for the company shows up and takes the final measurements for the project. Again I show what needed to be done and rep stated there was no issues and everything would work out fine. He informed me that someone would call me with an install date.  Fast forward 2 weeks. I had still not heard any word from the company as to a possible install date, so i called my salesmen. He informs me that my project has been frozen due to the fact some part of my install needed to be custom made. He then tells me that i would have to pay and ADDITIONAL 600.00 for the custom part. (NOTHING in my project required custom parts) I told him we have a signed contract and the price was set. I was NOT going to pay . The next day the production manager calls me. After several calls with him, he informs me that my job is beyond the scope of there work and was cancelling the contract. I explained it very clear to him as to what the project was and what needed to be done. I also stated that two representatives from there company have been out to my house and stated there was no issues with my install. I asked how any of that was beyond the scope of there work. He could not give me any good answers. His final statement was Tiger Bath has the right to cancel any contract and he would refund my down payment.  So after a month I am back to square one looking for another company to get my bathroom fixed. Save yourself a lot of time, energy, and frustration, Find ANY other company to do your bathroom project. read more

Similar to other reviews, which I unfortunately hadn't seen until this point, my order has taken many weeks beyond what was quoted to me. I placed my order the end of August, and now, 10/11, they've just given me an estimation for installation the week of November 22nd - if they rush it... Naturally, I'm forced to cancel my order - as this was for a tenant - and will instead use a local contractor who said he can complete the project within 1 week. So far, so good! Signed a contract in Dec 2014 & a few weeks later, Jan 2015, the project was completed. We were told that everything would be done in one day and that a crew of 3 to 4 workers would be present on day of install. Well, that is NOT what happened! Only one guy/installer was present and he said that he needed two full days to complete the install. Not a real biggie, but just an annoyance. Joe, the installer, was super friendly, knew his trade and did a great job. We are really happy with our new bathtub/shower and everything is working great! read more

It has been MONTHS since I initially requested information from them and I am still being harassed with calls and the same robotic emails stating that I sent in a request a few minutes ago. I had my shower done ~ 2 years ago. I am just letting you know, they start up with a super high price, then will talk about a discount if you make a commitment the same day. You haggle, then they make it seem like they already lowered the price so much. Until today, I couldn't believe that I paid almost $7,000 for just a shower installation when I could have done my entire bathroom for the same or a much lesser price. We signed the contract with Tiger Bath for a shower stall remodel (was told it was a 2 day project) on April 21, 2018 and the project was finished on September 4, 2018. The worst customer service at a company that we have ever dealt with. The finished project looks really nice (Rudy and crew did an awesome job with the install) but everything else was an issue. Mismeasurements, lack of communication, no follow-up and the waiting and waiting and waiting. Stay away from Tiger Bath, please. read more

Final Update: The shower was installed and looks absolutely beautiful. Rudy and his team do absolutely amazing install work and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Their work is very customer led and they did not rush to get the job down. They took their time and made sure everything was perfect. Rudy and his team get 10 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, their amazing service and install is overshadowed by how terrible the support office is. If you can put up with people that don't care about you but rather your money and can get Rudy as your installer, then I would recommend it. Otherwise, stay far away. Also, still have received zero correspendce on how to get my $50 giftcard. Another empty promise by this group. ********************************************************** Update 1: The installer arrived this morning and said that he can't believe they only scheduled 1 day when it is easily 2 full days. Rudy, he is a good guy. I am glad he didn't give me the work around and didn't start doing the work he knew he couldn't finish. With both of us being unavilable tomorrow we called the main office and spent between 30-45 minutes trying to figure out what to do. Their resolution, push install 3 weeks later, give me 1% off and a $50 restaurant giftcard. I guess its better than nothing but just another hassle and delay in the process. Well let me tell ya, this company is great at making you not feel good because they don't say or do anything efficiently or effectively after you sign the contract! I am currently in the process of working with them and it has been the most inconvenient company I have ever worked with. I will tell you, their sales pitch is actually really good but just tell them you aren't interested or are thinking of another company and they somehow scrape nearly 20% off the price. Sound goods right? Well after they take your deposit (which they do so mighty quick) it is nothing but trouble after that. They came out to schedule my final measure and changed my appointment time three times only for the guy to show up an hour after late. My original appointment was 8-12 on a Saturday, it then got moved to 12-4, I request a new time and was told 12-1 and then the guy didn't show up until after 2 o'clock. When I called at 1:30 all they said was "you must have been told wrong you were scheduled 12-2." Anyways my original contract was 4-6 weeks for install. At about 4.5 weeks the salesmen Tim (I have 2 different emails with 2 different last names) conveniently said that he forgot to specify "clear" for the shower door color and needed to send me an amendment, and although the email said it would extend the project 4-6 Tim texted me "When you receive the email, it will say that it will hold up install. No worries it was handled fast." This past weekend I went to a little music fest down the street and Tiger Bath happened to be there. I explained my situation and they took down my email and phone number and said they would call me early this week but that never happened. When they asked me who my sales rep was I said Tim and all three of them laughed and one said "Yea, we have heard people don't like working with him." This is a very reassuring thing to say when someone is not happy with their project and you have $2100 of theirs. I call and text Tim of Monday of this week after that story to get an update and he said he would get me one by Tuesday after he was in the office. Wednesday comes by and I hear nothing so I call the actual office since I can't count on Tim. They confirm with me on the phone that it is, in fact, showing another 4-6 week for install. The call center guy Everette is the only reason this post is getting more than one star at this point. He has been quite helpful and has shown some sympathy. At this point in time, I have received no communication from Tim via voicemail or text (my phone is off during the day so it doesn't show missed calls if he attempted and didn't leave a message). I called Everette back today and he was surprised to hear that no one has reached back out yet and they still have no estimate on my timeline besides the 4-6 weeks At this point in time, I would not recommend starting any project with this company as they are difficult to deal with unless it comes to taking your money. I hope to be surprised by the end of this experience but at this point, there is little hope. I will update this once the project progresses. read more

Great product but the installation journey is not worth it I've already contacted Tiger Bath Solutions with a complaint letter that is very detailed in my issues I experienced with them and they gave me a small token to try and make-up for the shoddy installation process. I still can't recommend them, as I wouldn't want my friends and family to be as aggravated as I was. The end product is really nice, but it should be for the price, and so should the customer service and installation experience! Some of the highlights of my installation experience: - Delays in the start date that ended up taking 5 months, after I was told it would be no more than 2 months. The delays were supposedly because my shower/tub area was over-sized. The salesman and contract team couldn't make up their minds as to the best way to tackle it and each contract revision delayed everything an additional 4 weeks. - Even though the shower dimensions were measured twice, they still got the shower doors and shower base wrong and ordered parts that were 2-1/2 inches too big - Installation team did not properly communicate with each other and neglected to tell each other what needed to be done the next visit (different personnel showed up on different days), causing delays for issues such as not realizing the shower had not been caulked yet and the team members that showed up weren't scheduled for service windows big enough to accommodate the caulking. - Customer service never apologized for any of the issues along the way and when I was texted a customer service survey after the installation was finished, I rated them a 2 and an automated response came back saying they were sorry I didn't have a better experience and someone would call me "shortly" to discuss. A week later, no one had ever called me so I wrote my complaint letter after getting a referral request via regular mail. All said and done, a job originally scheduled for 2 days took 5 days over 3 weeks. I doubt most people would be happy with this either! read more

The salesman who came to my home was very professional. The person who called me to get the specifics of my bathroom was as well. This is where the professionalism ends. I signed my contract in February 2017 and my bath tub surround wasn't installed until the middle of May2017. The customer service I received was awful when dealing with the person who called to set up my installation date. And to add salt to an open womb. My laundry room was left a mess and I noticed later that My handle turn on my old fashioned sink in the basement was missing. Where are ZERO stars!!! I live in a condo and four months ago my neighbor who lives directly above me had a walk in tub installed by Tiger Bath. A few days later I walked into my bedroom (my bathroom is connected to the bedroom) and the carpet was squishy and there was a water stain on the ceiling. I called my neighbor and she called Tiger Bath. they determined that they had installed a defective valve in her tub causing the leak in my apt. After several unanswered calls they came out and took pictures. I called a carpet cleaner who said I shouldn't wait too long because the stain would not come out necessitating new carpeting. He sent me an estimate for cleaning the carpet. Then I called a painter about my ceiling. He came out and gave me an estimate for painting the ceiling. I called TB several times to give them the estimates. Again, no reply. When I finally heard from them, they rejected the estimate from the painter because they said they would ONLY PAY FOR PAINTING THE SPOT, NOT THE WHOLE CEILING. I told them it was unacceptable because the newly painted spot would not match the rest of the ceiling. That was over a month ago. I haven't heard from them. Called again last week--no response. I realize that this not as horrible as other complaints posted, but my frustration is growing by the month! TB admits they are responsible for the leak--where is their responsibility to fix the problem THEY CAUSED!! HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS!!! read more

If you have any sort of dignity and self-respect, do not hire this company to complete any projects in your bathroom! The 5 star reviews posted on the business website are biased and handselected (notice how there are NO reviews below 5 stars listed there), but read reviews on BBB, Yelp and Google and notice a difference in experience. The unprofessionalism, lack of reliability, incompetence, and poor adherence to company standards by Mr. Aaron Rodriguez not only casts poorly on his duty as an Account Manager, a but also on Tiger Bath Solutions. That not only would he make false claims to save face, but make attempts to stall a resolution. I do not have the time, nor mental energy to wait on his terms when I had requested a refund of my deposit multiple times. This entire problem could have been avoided if appropriate measurements were taken, and later verified and/or corrected by a Measure Technician before the installation date. Instead, Mr. Rodriguez did not establish that a Measure Technician would visit our home. And when this problem (the model to be installed was too large to fit in our bathroom) occurred, he did not take the proper steps to escalate and resolve the issue. During the entire 15 minute phone conversation, his tone was rather insincere, because I knew prior to speaking with him that management had spoken with him about the problem. He seemed rather ignorant, stumped and not very apologetic about the inconvenience this caused to me and my family. Especially inconveniencing 3 hours of our time during the consultation with false promises. A true con-artist, who is unable to take responsibility for his actions, nor show any concern for his customers. I will not be a fool and install an obviously flawed product into my home. A product so flawed that even the two contractors who entered my home to install and, and members of the Production Team, warned that the installation would not look professional and result in other unnecessary changes to our bathroom. read more

Run as far away from this company as you possibly can. I called to get an estimate for a new tub. The guy comes in and takes five minutes of measurements before spending the next 90 minutes trying to sell me on it before telling me the price. Let's just say their "sale" price for their basic tub is more than three times as much as a comparable tub, including installation. The guy then somehow realizes I'm eligible for $2000 off, but only if I say yes RIGHT NOW! I still say no, he comes down another $500, I still say no. He calls his boss who comes down ANOTHER thousand and I still say no as we're still about $1500 away from a fair price, at which point he calls me stupid and yells "good luck finding anything at that price, and now we're taking all our offers on the table if you come back to us". Horribly, horribly overpriced and underprofessional. They still wouldn't take no for an answer until I told the guy it was time to go, at which point he said solelmly "sorry if I wasted your time". Over the next few days, I received several calls from them, and, over a month later received another. They don't get when no means no, and use extremely high-pressure sales tactics for their overpriced product. Avoid and find yourself a decent contractor at a fair price. read more
