The hotel and our rooms were clean and our beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and the person working it kept up with refills and clean up. The only draw back with this hotel is that it is in desperate need of a refresh. The walls in our room were banged up and worn. The public spaces weren't showing as much wear. No notice given, it's just "their policy". I am a Diamond member and this is August. First time in 15 years of travelling that this has happened. While the ladies working the front desk were professional and nice, and the breakfast was good. Our room smelled very musty to the point where the smell was almost unbearable at night. The bathroom floor had several human hairs on the floot (not clean). There were other areas in the hotel that were not clen as well. Additionally, the WIFI password is an indication for a high rating score. This seems to align with the high rating score for the hotel, that may not be justified. read more

The staff were friendly and accommodating. I ending up locking myself out of my room in less than 5 minutes and they were nice enough to let me back in swiftly. However, the room was bad. It was outdated. The room smelled old and stale. It didn't smell clean at all! The linen smelled like dirty hair and musty body odor. I feel like they just remade the bed and didn't wash anything. The bed was worn out and not comfortable. The carpet needs to be cleaned terribly or get rid of it altogether! It was dirty. I will not be staying there again but if you do stay there, make sure you don't settle like I foolishly did. I didn't give one star because the front desk staff were very nice. read more

Needed a place to crash while driving back to NC. Got a good deal on this hotel. Just under $80. Room comes with everything you expect. - Iron and ironing board - Soap, shampoo - Hair dryer - Coffee maker - Small refrigerator - Microwave - Desk The hotel also has breakfast and wi-fi included in the room costs, plus indoor pool and a workout room. It is actually pretty decent hotel for the price. The location is good, right off I40 for travelers. Safe location. Lots of restaurants in the area as well. read more

Stayed here while traveling through town and its in a decent location has food in the same parking lot basically. The breakfast is probably the best thing about staying here along with it being right off the freeway. Staff is generally pretty friendly but the rooms our outdated the beds aren't comfortable need to be replaced along with there toilets. Its not the worst place to stay but for almost the same price you can stay at better hotels near by. read more

I created a YELP account so I can share about my experience at Comfort Suites in Lebanon, TN. Please read if you'd like to avoid the experience that I had. We arrived at this Comfort Suites at 8:00PM this evening. We checked in, got stuff moved in, and noticed that there was hair all over the bathroom & that the sink was clogged. The hair wasn't hair you find on the top of your hair. I'll leave the rest up to your speculation. There was hair in the sink, there was hair on the counter top. There was hair on the bathroom floor. Additionally, there was hair in the shower. Upon recognizing how much there was, I requested that the we be moved to a different room. I was given a key to a new room and was offered to go inspect the room. Upon inspecting the room, I found the room to be in similar condition. I used toilet paper to collect a sample of the floor's contents, and I brought it to the front desk to show them what I found. The lady at the front desk was kind. Her name was Mayra. Mayra (and the young lady who followed her after her shift) was the only positive part of our experience. She was kind and helpful within her ability to help. After bringing her what I collected from the floor of the room they were going to move me to, I communicated that we would just stay in our room, but that it would be appreciated if they could send someone up there to unclog the sink and clean the bathroom. They sent up someone, and he fixed the sink, but he simply mopped over the hair and didn't vacuum anything up. He spoke Spanish. I was able to communicate with him in my broken Spanish, but I'm not sure how much he understood, so we didn't really get the help we were hoping for there. I had to quickly attend to plans in Nashville upon checking in, so I had to go, leaving behind my wife & 9-month-old. During my travels, my wife and I decided that we were going to leave and cancel our two-night booking so we could stay somewhere clean, but I wasn't going to be able to make it back to Comfort Suites from Nashville until midnight to leave towards our new hotel. I was told at 9:30PM that if my wife & daughter weren't out by 10:00PM, we would be charged for the first night. Per business card on the front desk, the person making this decision was Melissa Parker, the hotel's GM. I gave Melissa, through my communication with Mayra, an opportunity to reconcile this poor experience by refunding us with both nights, but they refused to do so. I hope this review helps you make an informed decision if you book a hotel in this area. I would strongly advise against Comfort Suites in Lebanon, and I will certainly not be booking with them or Choice Privileges as a whole unless this is reconciled personally with me. read more

Liked · My husband had a work conference at the Lebanon fair grounds to attend and this was very close to the grounds. It was also near the "main drag" of the town and right down the road from a beautiful state park. The facilities were clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, and I so appreciated their to-go breakfast. The value for what we got was great and if we were in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. Disliked · There's a smoking area literally right outside the front doors that was very frequently utilized by a variety of people. When you came in or out of the doors, you had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke most times. Air conditioning was not working in the room, staff basically shrugged shoulders and said "sorry".... basically not caring at all. Needless to say, no sleep while you are laying in bed sweating and breathing in stale hot air. But staff cared enough to keep calling our room at 6 am to ask if we were the room with the TV not working. Twice!! So. .. They care about if the TV works, but could care less if you are sweating your ass off. Not an enjoyable stay....FAR from comfort (needs to be removed from the name!) and when they do nothing on top of it.... Ridiculous!! We had a wonderful stay here last night. We showed up later in the evening, and found an empty heated pool. Such a great way to end a long day of driving! There's also a hot tub (though it wasn't much warmer than the pool) and a sauna! The room was nice, though there were a couple broken tiles in the bathroom - not a big deal. Breakfast was okay. The selection was good, but some of the items didn't taste that great. The staff were friendly. I'd absolutely stay here again, even just for the pool stuff. read more

All employees were very friendly and the rooms were clean. The ice machine on the first floor was out of order so we had to go to 2nd floor to get ice. If you want to eat breakfast make sure you are there in plenty time before the end time because 10 minutes before 9:00 they started to clean up, taking the serving utensils then the food so by 9:00 the were cleaned up. read more

This hotel is excellent, especially considering how inexpensive it is. We have stayed here twice in the last year, and we have never had an issue. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are super clean. The water pressure in the showers is decent, and there was plenty of hot water. I like that the rooms are so large, and you never feel cramped. Check in and out was a breeze, and the front desk staff members we talked to were really friendly. The breakfast is decent, and it is nice that it is included in your stay's cost. Convenient to the interstate, the airport, and some good outlet malls. The only thing we didn't love was that the air conditioner kept blowing the curtains up and sort of blocked the air from circulating in be room. I stuck an extra towel on the bottom of the curtain to keep it in place, and that made it a lot better. read more

We were traveling through town and needed a place to stay. I checked the star ratings of other Choice hotels in the area& we were going to stay at a newer hotel. But the newer hotel did not have a bathtubs & I wanted to take a bath after a long day on the road. Glad we chose this hotel; clean, friendly staff & lots of nice amenities. Did offer the standard bland breakfast choices. Since it appeared the owners and or a large portion of the staff might have been Indian. I would much rather see Indian food for breakfast. If you're in the area and need a place to stay I recommend this place. A good value. read more

The place was easy to get to and had ample parking available. We stayed in room #211 on a Friday night. The suite was very clean and spacious with 2 cozy queen-size beds plus a small sitting area with a couch. A couple things led me to give a medium rating. The bathroom sink barely drained at all. We logged a maintenance call. Secondly. The button to turn on the shower was strange. So much so that we had to call front desk to learn how to activate it. Thirdly, Housekeeping began vacuuming the entire long hallway at 8 a.m. sharp, which was too much noise so early. Lastly, at no fault of the hotel, big foot was in the room above us. A great place that's hard to beat. It's a place that's ideal if you're traveling through and don't want to stop at either Nashville or Knoxville. It has all the amenities you need - pool, gym, free WiFi, free continental breakfast. And considering all it has, the price is very reasonable. They also keep this place clean and smells fresh, it doesn't have that stereotypical musty smell that you find in most hotels. read more

This hotel lobby was very clean and inviting looking. Check-in was quick and the staff very friendly. Our room was modern and also very clean and the beds were really cushy and comfortable. Most "free" breakfasts at other hotels tend to offer only starch/carbohydrate items, but the breakfast here included some protein items (eggs, sausage, yogurt, etc.), which was a nice change. This was a wonderful find. I was traveling with two kids coming back from my daughters graduation. I was tired and pulled into this hotel. The price was $60 less then Holiday Inn next door but the room was just as nice if not better. Kids loved the pool and sauna. The room clean, beds comfy, sleeper sofa adequate, breakfast was better then most hotels, and the staff was very friendly. My only issue was that the water was not especially hot in the shower. I like very hot showers. Other then that it was one of the best hotels that I stayed at over the years. read more

Room was nice but hotel had no hot water. When I asked, we were told they were working on it. An hour later they were still working on it. Never anything about taking care of us in any other way. After some more time we checked out and did receive a refund since we spent about 4 hours at the hotel. As we were leaving they were still checking in people and not a word was mentioned that the hot water wasn't working. I grabbed this hotel while pulled over the side of the road during a solo cross country trip. The beds are very comfortable, hotel is extremely cleanly, staff is friendly! They have an indoor pool and a fitness center and free parking! Not too far outside of Nashville if you're looking to visit. They live up to their name "comfort suites"! Thank you for making my 19 hour drive to this location worth it!!! OH and their continental breakfast is DELICIOUS! (I didn't get there til 915am and lots of fresh food everything was stocked still... wasn't expecting that at all!!!) read more

The hotel was nice and clean. We stayed 1 night in room #211 which had 2 queen beds and a sitting area with a sofa bed. The beds were nice and comfortable. The problem was trying to take a shower the following morning. While turning the faucet knob on, the whole knob fell off with water running out of the faucet. Finally got the knob back on to turn the water off and on. Proceeded to try and get the shower head to turn on but after several minutes, I realized this Delta brand requires you to pull down the knob underneath the faucet where the water comes out. It still never worked, so none of us were able to take showers. By this time, we were running late meeting another family member. I can't believe hotels use these types of faucets. They are so poorly designed and unless you have used one before, it takes awhile to figure it out. There were no instructions in the room nor did the check in person offer any verbal instructions. While checking out, I mentioned to the front desk that the whole shower faucet knob fell off plus never was able to get the shower to turn on. She said I had to pull down on the faucet, which I told her I did and it still didn't work. Her only response was, "Sorry to hear that." I also mentioned none of us in our room were able to take showers, but again, the response, "Sorry." Not sure if I will stay at a Comfort Suites again.. read more

We stayed for only one night, but enjoyed our stay. Gracious staff, everything was clean, nice warm pool, hot tub and sauna were perfect. The room was large and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. My only complaint would be the lack of healthy options for breakfast, but it was all the typical hotel fare. read more

First off they have really nice large rooms. Comfortable and clean. Stayed here once before when they were still under partial construction. The lobby is inviting and they offer a nice hot breakfast. If I was rating just on that they would have received 5 stars but their front staff was less than inviting and courteous and at 530 am when I did the express checkout, RIGHT BESIDE the employee, I did not get a thank you or goodbye or anything.
