I've never experienced such filth to say the least... when you're in the hallways they have a molded piss smell. I entered one of the rooms and witnessed a mess... a huge bug on the floor, the room reeked of urine the carpet was damaged and the mattress was filthy. The housekeeping staff at Comfort Suites in Waldorf, MD are not changing the bed linens which is a huge health and safety concern. I found a CRACK PIPE on my bed hidden between the blanket and the decorative duvet. If the bed linens were changed, there is no way that would've been still on the bed. I was traveling with my 2 year old. What if she found it and not me??? I've read numerous horror stories about kids finding hazardous items in their hotel rooms and putting the items in their mouths. It is officially holiday season and millions of families will be traveling and staying in hotel rooms. This is a huge safety concern. read more

My best advice is Do NOT stay here ! The place is disgusting. After checking in and seeing the rooms I knew we were in a bad spot. The rooms are very outdated which I can handle. Clean ? Not so much! I checked the beds to make sure they were clean and decided after the very long drive with a new born that we would stay for the night while looking for some place else . ( Pictures of the dirty room included ) That evening while going to the adjoining room there was other guest in the hallway a few " working Girls" and one man walking with a joint in his mouth! I let the front desk know and was told they would preview the tapes to see who it was . I expressed to her at this time that I was concerned about the safeness of the hotel . Once again, I was traveling with kids. We stayed in our rooms the rest of the night . Walked out of our room at 8am to head someplace else for breakfast, ( don't even ask about the so called free breakfast. I would'nt eat at a place I did'nt even feel safe to sleep at ) and there is a lady getting out of the pool in her bra and panties ! The pool is located in the lobby area of the front desk as well as the breakfast area. I will include pictures of the lovely Green Pool! To make a long story short, I told the front desk that we did not feel safe and would be checking out. I had booked two nights and paid thru my third party credit card so when asked about a refund for my second night I was told that the to call my Credit Card Company and the Hotel would confirm that we left and would could get partial credit. This is all a lie! The tell you that to let you leave and then when my credit card company called them they stand by there 24 hour cancellation policy. They don't even want to discuss why you left. It don't matter . 24 HOURS or you pay. I have called The Hotel and was told they were changing owners and would love to give me a free stay but because they did'nt receive direct payment from me that they cant refund any money. My credit card company says they have the 24 hour clause that they cant get around. So my best thing to do is move on and warn others. Unless your sleeping on the streets , I'd pick some place else! an update to all of my many Phone calls and back and forth , I got No money back and I went and stayed at a nice Clean Hotel thanks to my wonderful Son in Law for bailing us out of a bad situation. read more

It is 1:02 am on the 4th of March. I am not asleep because there is a full blown party with a DJ in the lobby. There are individuals walking past my door yelling and conversing loudly. Why management didn't inform the guests of the party is beyond me and highly unprofessional. I'm not sure if this is a hotel or a club. I'm extremely disappointed and will use this hotel again when traveling to Waldorf since they clearly are concerned with the comfort of all their guests I came back to the hotel a little after midnight and there was a full blown party, with a DJ, in the lobby. Loud individuals everywhere, on the first and second floors littering in the hallway. Management did not make it know this type of event was talking place. I found the whole situation unprofessional and a huge inconvenience. A party of this nature show have been publicized. Clearly they were concerned with the comfort of there guest. This is totally unacceptable and I will not patronize this establishment again. The fire alarm was pulled in the 2 oclock hour, there was no fire. 3:24 am and the party is still going. There were roaches all over the bathroom and in the beds. Had to ask for a room change due to smoke alarms going off and was genuinely afraid to fall asleep here. Definitely pay the money to stay anywhere else. read more

The pool area has been under renovation for over two years now as the breakfast area so you can go swimming their owner can you eat breakfast. They've done some painting the carpets are newer. The laundry facilities are non-operational as is the elevator and the vending machines are nonexistent nevertheless the ice machine does work. They should close this place down until they're ready to open with all the amenities they have advertised they have. So be sure to check that all of the above is been taken care of before you book. read more

With the exception of the scent of Mary Jane in the hallway, it wasn't a bad deal. Comfort Suites is the higher end of Choice Hotels. Very comfortable and a great value. It did appear that some renovations are in order for both the interior and exterior of the building, but as far as the room is concerned, I have no complaints. 70 dollars on a Friday night is not a bad deal at all. read more

Day 1: I checked in about 3 pm after an 8 hr drive. I was so tired that I checked in, got to room 120 and climbed into bed. I woke up and began unpacking and watching the Olympics. I swiveled the TV and came away with sticky gook on my fingers. I washed my hands and almost cut myself on the broken frosted glass counter. The toilet seat looks like it's from an old gas station. Peeling and discolored. I wanted fresh air but the window screen is ripped from top to bottom. The curtains are filthy and the refrigerator has mold in it. Did I mention the cigarette burn in the sheets? I called the front desk. They're fully booked so they can't move me. I took pictures. It's after 11 pm now. I am very unhappy. Moving in the morning! Day 2: It's morning. I went to the front desk about 6 am. I asked for the Manager. He is not there on the weekend. What's his name? Scott.They don't know his last name. District Managers name. Same no last name Scott. Oh they're aware of the issues I'm having. /they confirmed my phone number on file ans assured me that Scott will followup with me on Monday. In the meantime they have another room for me. They don't know when it will be available. Its after 11 now and still no idea. I have things to do today and would like a shower in a clean tub. You'd think my room would be a priority but I guess they have to wait till the current guest leaves. All the other hotels check in @ 3 pm. Hampton Inn is holding a room for me after I called them and explained the situation. About 1 pm I was moved to room 104 that was noisy but clean. the counter was broken here too. Day 3: So I'm up for breakfast and just sipping tea and waiting for the line of people waiting to make waffles to die down. I get up and walk over there because I'm looking at the spray that they are using and it looks like a hairspray spritzer bottle. I picked it up and read the bottle it says griddle conditioning spray and the back had cleaning instructions for the griddle. I walk to the front desk to advise them on what was going on and they said oh that's so the waffle doesn't stick I said no honey that is for cleaning and conditioning the griddle. The lady comes from behind the desk and walks to the griddle area and she has to wait because now people are reading the bottle. when she gets the bottle she reads it and walked into the kitchen area. She comes back with a non stick butter spray puts it on the counter and walks away. People just continue making their waffles. Needless to say I am eating a bagel. I did sneak into the kitchen area and grab the bottle and took a picture of it. You can't make this stuff up. Look at the pictures. Day 4: No call from no last name Scott. Day 5: No call from no last name Scott. I called Choice Privileges to complain They put me on hold to call the Hotel. Scott was not there. Day 6: 8/17/2016 Still no call. read more

I stayed at the Comfort Suite for 3 weeks because I had water damage at my house. The first week was wonderful the second week. There were people partying in the hallway on the weekend smoking weed and cigarettes. I complain to the management and they did nothing. This week I hopefully will be my last week. Because the breakfast that they promised was awful. They didn't have any bread. No sausage. They had eggs put work for us. And no juice So basically I had leftover cereal. And coffee and it's probably a buffet that was included in my cost of the room. read more
