My stay at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing. While the room itself was decent overall, the cleanliness fell short--specifically, the shower had not been cleaned prior to my arrival, which is unacceptable. When I reported the issue to the front desk, the response was very dismissive. I was simply told, "okay, we'll let housekeeping know," with no attempt to resolve the issue during my stay. The most concerning part of my experience, however, has been post-checkout. I inadvertently left my Apple Watch in the room, and despite calling the hotel daily for the past week, I have received no resolution or meaningful follow-up. Meanwhile, my device is still showing at the hotel location, which adds to the frustration. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and failure to properly assist with a lost item have left a very negative impression. I would not recommend staying here unless there are significant improvements in both housekeeping standards and guest support. read more

I would like to give this a higher star rating but I stayed for a week but it was a week of construction. The pool wasn't available. The Bistro wasn't available. There was no ice machine. The shower didn't get hot but it was always warm enough to take a shower but barely. The sound on the TV is not good and the remote barely worked and had a bad lag but I was able to use the room and it's amenities as expected. The reason I didn't give it a lower score is because the staff was very polite and friendly. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. Even the hallways were clean, even the space where they were renovating was in good condition. This was just a staycation for me because I needed 7 more days to move up to the next tier and since I was that close, why not, right. I will definitely come back once they are put all back together so I can update this review. read more

I booked a 2 night stay with points because this was the only hotel close to the area I was in. For starters I was checked in by a guest service agent who was on the phone and had her phone on speaker and eating. She was kind but that is so unprofessional. I had to ask twice about an upgrade because she said upgrades are available but we had the biggest room which was not true. Literally everything in this hotel was under renovation and the site didn't specify that. Super disappointed! This hotel has a serious security and maintenance issue. I hope they are renovating this whole place because the rooms are outdated the doors have big cracks in it and I had to keep checking the door because I did not feel safe. Me and my mom were up all night because we did not feel safe. We seen a guy in the hallway lurking going into the stairways smh. The tv barely worked and the room wasn't the cleanest. The air conditioning unit was so dusty and was broken and had exposed wires at the bottom. I reached out to Marriott for my points back but they offered 10,000 points instead which my stay was 27,000, so disappointing and upsetting. The only plus was the really pleasant guest service agent the morning of my checkout and I didn't get her name. Literally everything needs to be improved. read more

This hotel was hit and miss. The best part about the hotel was the front desk and Bistro staff. They were super friendly and always looking to be helpful. I was glad that they told me about renovations happening on the 3rd floor. When I arrived back from my meetings at 5:30pm to sleep before a very early departure in the morning they were hammering right above me. I was just about to complain when the work stopped at 6pm. While 5pm stop time may have been better, 6pm is not necessarily unreasonable, and I was happy to be able to get to bed early so I could be rested for a long drive the next morning. The room has a nice layout and was clean with the exception of the stains on the cloth fabric couch. I was disappointed that they had no usb ports in the room, so I couldn't lean on my phone cord for charging without the outlet prongs. The tub/shower was the worst part of the room. The body gel was torn from the wall and just placed on the back of the tub rather than maintenance reinstalling it. The faucet also periodically started dripping and draining for no reason whatsoever. But worst of all, I was wondering why the shower wouldn't get hot when the sink faucet easily pivoted from hot to cold. I figured out that, inexplicably, they had the fixture in wrong so that when the handle is pointed towards the red (hot) section the water is actually cold and you need to face the handle to the blue (cold) section to get warm water. Yes, the water never got hot but it was just warm enough for me to have a quick shower. I give them 3 stars mostly on the strength of the staff, but the room needs updating to get them to 4 stars or above. read more

I would not recommend this Hotel.It's the worst Marriott I've stayed in. The young lady at the front desk was very rude and just sits there on her phone like a teenager. I called the front desk from my room and no one answered. When I came downstairs to let her know she barked back that this phone never rang and instructed me to ask other guest that were in the lobby if the phone rang as if it was my fault vs. the phone system. I will get her name and report this to Marriott once my stay is complete. As a Platinum Elite Member, I found the service and the hotel to be lacking in what the brand usually provides. Not even a first time patron should have to deal with this. I see why the ratings are so low here. read more

I drove 5 hrs to attend an event in Waldorf, Maryland yesterday. I originally had another hotel booked, but when I arrived at that hotel, it was an absolute disgrace of how unkept the hotel was, the conditions and nonexisting customer service. I booked that hotel because of the close proximity to the event that my daughter and I had to attend; however, after that horrific experience, I decided to find a hotel brand that I trust - The Marriott brand. I quickly went online and booked a room at the courtyard Marriott in Waldorf. Although this hotel was a little further than my event destination, I was happy that they had availability. When I arrived at the hotel, I was excited to see from the outside that this was definitely the type of hotel that I would stay in. It was well kept and clean on the outside. Upon entering the hotel, my daughter and I were greeted very professionally with a smile by the rep at the counter. He got us checked in and gave us pertinent information to make our stay enjoyable. It was a refreshing feeling being treated like valued customers and seeing how clean and refreshing the lobby area was. Our room was on the second floor. On the way up, I was a bit nervous about the elevator because it made weird sounds and sounded like perhaps the door needed to be "greased"; it took a while to close and had a scratchy, dragging sound. The room was nice, clean, smelled good, and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to decompress from our previous experience and get ready for our event without any further issues. We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The next time I visit Waldorf, I definitely know where I need to stay. read more

I always have a good stay at all the Marriott hotels & the Courtyard was no different. The 1st thing that will always get you on my good side is letting me check in earlier than the given check in time. I arrived at around 1:45pm & check in wasn't until 3 but I was allowed to check in anyway which was glorious. Just wanted to relax and watch some shows & I did just that. I was put up on the 2nd floor towards the end of the hallway. When I got to my room I noticed there was a mini fridge and a microwave in the room which is always PERFECT!!! If you bring back food after a night of drinking you're going to want to heat it up in the middle of the night obviously. The television has internet tv so I was able to watch my YouTube & Netflix without a problem which is mandatory for all of my stays. The room was very clean and the bed was big & the pillows were quite soft. There is also a bistro in the lobby where I ordered a bacon egg & cheese 1 morning for breakfast & it actually was pretty good. Everything is made to order so it was fresh. You're in walking distance of shops & food options so the location is great. I think it's less than a mile from St Charles Mall also. There is only 1 complaint I had and it's with the shower. There wasn't a middle ground between cool & hot . The temperatures for the shower went from Freezing cold, to cold, to cool, to hot, to scorching hot. THERE WAS NO WARM SETTING no matter how slightly I adjusted the knob it went straight to hot ughhhh so frustrating. Fix yo shower Courtyard. Other than that my stay was great read more

First of all, I am Lifetime Gold Member and been 3 Years of Platinum Miserable place to stay. Dirty, bed bugs, AC/Heater does not work, and poor customer service. Called 14 times and never got hold of General Manager or did not get call back from general manger as promised by front desk. Long story short, 2 main issues. 1. I paid for a special breakfast rate, and breakfast time is 06:00 - 09:30. I arrived at 06:45AM first night and it was closed. Front desk said breakfast staff did not came so no breakfast and no refunds. Wait a minute, I paid for breakfast rate in advance and your staff did not come 2/3 days I stayed and I end up getting breakfast outside that made me late to my meeting that flew cross country; and no sorry, no apologies, and still charged me that rate - unbelievable. Worse than Motel 6 or any imaginable place one would stay. 2. I almost died on second night. The room got hot to almost 80 degrees and I was in medication. I set it to 60, so slowly it can reach to 70 degree and i would keep it there. The room would not cool down below 80 degree due to AC/Heater controller malfunction and I almost fainted. The front desk neither changed room nor transferred me to a different hotel. Instead recommended to call 911 if you have heart attack. I travel for work and stay almost 150+ nights/year at a hotel, this is worst I ever stayed in my whole life. This hotel won the award of Worst Hotel of Maryland, in fact the entire USA. Surprisingly, Marriott Corporate does not do anything about all the complaint they receive about this hotel. Maybe time to switch and give business to Hilton, IHG, or other franchise who care about their customer concern. read more

Boy how things have changed. In the 90's and 2000 I had traveled a lot with my company and always enjoyed staying at the Courtyard when I could. It has always been clean and friendly with good service and staff ready to bend backwards to assist the weary travelers and make it a good stay with competitive pricing. As I said things have changed, the rooms are still clean but it all stops there. On April 26 I had planned an overnight stay in Waldorf Maryland so I chose the Courtyard on Crain Highway. It appeared to be as clean as I always remembered it. When I parked and went in to the front desk, at approximately 1:15, there were 5 irritated customers ahead of me. I should have picked up on that and left, but I was tired and thought I knew how Courtyard was, was I surprised. It seems that the one woman that was at the desk had to make frequent calls to someone about her various duties, including trying to find a clean room for the guests. I am not sure who she called but it didn't help much. About 2 she left the desk, leaving all of us waiting to get a room. She got back about 230 and was very slow attending to the guest she had left at the desk. She finally got them a room and started with the next guest for maybe 15 to 20 minutes or more checking them in. Finally a man showed up who seemed to know what he was doing. Serving the next guest he had to leave to verify a room was cleaned. When he got back, the woman stood back while he took over then started helping again. When it came to my turn and they started checking me in, they found out I didn't have a reservation so I could not get a room. I told them that I had been there for over two hours waiting they just said sorry we are booked. I stepped aside and signed in online and made a reservation, again I should have left as it went downhill after that with more issues. Getting the reservation online cost me 279 for a 179 room. I did not notice that till I was checked in. I ask, as I was checking in, if they credit air miles with Delta or American Air he barked NO. I then asked if they accept military discounts, he said no, I asked about AAA or AARP, he said no because booking online he could not change or refund anything and besides I got the best price for coming in on a Saturday when prices are typically higher. I said online the price said 179 to that he didn't respond so I told him to expect a negative review. He said here is your room key and that was all. My room was up to par for the Courtyard. It was clean and fresh, as it should have been. I think this was the best part of the whole transaction. In the morning I found out there was no continental breakfast. Coffee, outside the room was 5.00. Wow I just checked out and went to IHOP. Well, lesson learned. I should have known all things changed and when those customers that were irritated because the woman was slow and seemed unsure along the long wait I should have went to Residence Inn rather than wait over 2 hours to be told no reservation no room. I didn't truly get why the ratings were so low on this hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and fixed an error found on my bill at check out. The lobby was clean and nicely decorated too. My only issue with this hotel was that my request to not be put by the elevator (part of my room requests as a Marriott gold member) was ignored and I was given a room right next to the elevator. So much noise...it was hard to sleep. Other than the room being too close to the elevator, this hotel was fine. So a solid 3.5 stars. I didn't eat breakfast and I didn't check out the bar so I can't give a higher review until I swing in again and try the other amenities. read more

I just got my bill today from staying there in February. I see the charge on my credit card bill but I don't see it on my Marriott account nor my points. I called the hotel to have them fix the problem but they told me they don't have the authority. Then I told them that they need to contact HQ and have it fix. They keep repeating the same stuff. The Hot Water heater was replaced, but the Maintenance Department failed to drain the line. The water was burnt orange in color with a slight smell. I slept in places worst, but I was in Iraq! Tne star only because I couldn't put 0. What a disaster this hotel is. It is not the Marriot quality I have grown to expect. The room #103 was a disaster. From what appeared to be blood on the carpet, smashed bugs on the ceiling, broken and hanging curtains, mold on the ceiling and walls and white substance all down the nightstand. The carpet was also unvacuumed with leaves and dirt around the room. It was so bad we didn't want to shower in the morning. Both my son and I woke up with headaches. I didn't see all this as we entered the room and went right to bed due to it being so late. It was when we woke up that everything was seen. The stay was already over, and there was no way to request a room switch. I used the App Chat function to try and resolve this. However, I received a response: "You will hear back from (name removed), our Guest Manager, within 30 minutes." It is now seven days later, and I haven't heard a word. Even though the chat stated a case was open, and the issue was forwarded to the Housekeeping Manager and Management team. The chat requested the opportunity to make this right. I guess the "Make it right" is to ignore my concerns and issues with a dump of a hotel. Not that I expect anything different from a management team that allows such filth in a room. I know that, being a Silver Elite level, I don't stay as much as other members, but I do stay enough with multiple families from hockey teams to know this is not normal Marriot quality. There is no excuse for being ignored by the Guest Services Manager. It just shows how committed the Courtyard Waldorf is to customer care. The Courtyard by Marriott hotel located in Waldorf, MD is the worst hotel that I've ever lodged at as a disabled person with a service dog. The hotel staff were not only untrained with dealing with disabled public citizens with service animals and with having no knowledge of the ADA law; but as a disabled hotel guest they were extremely disrespectful and confrontational toward me as it related to my service dog. They created an extremely hostile hotel environment and raised very serious safety concerns that forced me to immediately leave the franchise hotel. When I filed public citizen formal complaints with the Courtyard by Marriott owner and the Marriott International, Inc. leadership concerning my unfortunate experiences with the Courtyard by Marriott hotel employee's and because their actions were violating public citizen rights, consumers rights and other state and federal laws; the Courtyard by Marriott hotel owner and Marriott International, Inc. leadership did a cover-up of the matter that jeopardized public safety and falsely advertised the Marriott's acceptance of service animals. I would NEVER recommend for any disabled persons or able bodied persons to stay at this Marriott hotel or to stay at any Marriott International hotel who condone these types of unfair business practices that does harm to vulnerable and unsuspecting consumers. read more

I am a returning guest to the Waldorf Courtyard Marriott and my return visit was nowhere near as pleasant as my 1st. Upon check-in I received my key & I proceeded to my room (#129). The room did not have a "sanitized" sticker at the door as it had during my previous stay. I wasn't in the room 5 secs. and I noticed the substandard cleanliness, the pillows on the the bed looked like they had ben slept on, the sofa had a big cut in the seat part of it (TOTAL EYESORE) the curtains were dirty & in a disarray. I was immediately disappointed with the room that was assigned to me. I went back to the front desk and the gentleman was very nonchalant and treated me as if my business was not valued. I was told that I would be credited my money back. I proceeded to go with my initial choice of hotel at Hyatt Place @ National Harbor which was a little more expensive, but well worth the peace of mind and satisfaction of comfort. To the staff at Courtyard Marriott in Waldorf, please do not assume the all African Americans are OK with subpar customer service. read more

Where do I start? These 2 stars are solely for the young lady working the front desk overnight. I booked a room here for the weekend in celebration of my boyfriend's birthday. Keep in mind I booked this room 3 weeks in advance. Upon our arrival, we walk into a room that's completely not what I reserved. I asked for a room with a King bed & sofa bed and received a room with two queen beds instead. We were told all the King bed rooms have sold out. We decided to just deal with it and spend our romantic evening sharing one of the queen beds. After looking around the room, I began to notice little things. I have attached some pictures for you guys. We went downstairs around 11pm to check out the whirlpool, just to discover that they close everything at 10pm. Yet another romance fail. So due to the room inconvenience, they promised us free breakfast the next morning. We go down to check out breakfast the next morning to discover the cafe is closed because they are short staffed! At this point I'm pissed and the girl at the front desk is nice enough to take $27 off my bill for the inconvenience.... Lesson of the day: You get what you pay for. Likes: -The layout of our room...things are functionally separated. The fridge is NOT inside a cabinet under the TV. It has its own little spot with the microwave and coffee maker. -Love the style of the rooms. The closet is made out of wood and has sections for stuff. -The bathroom is also nice. I usually have something to say about how ridiculous the bathroom is layed out... like how they have the toilet partially under the sink... or how it's too close to the bath tub...etc. But this bathroom, I can't find anything I dislike. -Free fast wifi. It's not like the other hotel's that takes forever to open a page. Dislike: -Small fridge. I guess you won't notice how tiny the fridge is unless you stay for a while. :/ -There was only three pillows on our bed. I guess that's their thing for double queen beds. It's a minor thing that can be remedied by asking the front desk. But I'm just saying how they only had three pillows rather than the regular four pillows. -There is no mirror besides the ones inside the bathroom. I didn't mind it at first, but it became ridiculous especially when everyone is trying to get ready. read more

I'm a Marriott Brand woman. I love Marriott I've exceeded 1,000,000,000 points in past 5 years. I had to stay at this hotel for a family emergency to watch 5 grandchildren. Being an elite member with Marriott I'm supposed to get late checkout. So I was told no late check out is available. I asked for xtra towels at 8:30. Even housekeeping manager came by asked if I was checking out at 9 am. Not right now I asked for towels. "Oh! Ok!" And she walked off. 11:40 a gentleman came with my towels. ??? I told him. "3 hours later!?" Great. Then he acted surprised that no one had brought me towels!! Is this lazy staffing or management?? No excuses for any of it. So I came back "LABOR DAY WEEKEND"because grandkids wanted to swim. Great. Pool was closed for "sanitizing" reopen 7 pm. Took kids in to find green algae around the hot tub. Told front desk. They did NOTHING. Checked on pool area the next morning. Nothing had been cleaned. Asked for late checkout to get kids showered etc. thru the app. The app said contact front desk. Final decision try the Residence Inn. You may pay xtra but you get free breakfast!! read more

I am a Marriott user across the world and I have to say this barely meets the Marriott mark. Staff- very polite and nice people. The best part about the hotel. Food- There is no amenities common in almost all Marriotts to include free coffee. You are given nothing except fruit dropped in a water tank at the front. The service at the bistro is friendly, however it is slow and almost never attended because she has to run the kitchen too while making coffee. Hope your not in a rush as it's as slow as it gets if even attended. Rooms- holes in the walls, cheap tiled bathrooms, run down look. Needs some TLC and updating. Toilets and sinks overflow. Laundry- the laundry is free to use but with this capacity of hotel, why would not have more than one washer and dryer in the hotel. Ridiculous! Platinum Elite- there are no benefits here and they do not try to upgrade you to a better room. I have stayed in a Marriott 82 nights this year and will probably hit over a hundred. Long story short- go to the residence inn and spend a little more and above per diem as you will have a more comfortable stay. read more

94$ for a suite? Count me in... My room was larger than I expected. You walk in the door and there is a small hallway. On the left there is a large bathroom with glass shower doors and plenty of storage. Between the bathroom and bed area is the microwave and mini fridge. Beyond that is the bed, couch, tv, and closet area. The bathroom at this location was much better than the previous Marriott I stayed in. Everything was clean and had no major complaints with the room. The free wifi and HD cable are definitely bonuses. There are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat in the area as well. The only negatives were the fact that the ice machine was broken (no biggie) and someone was smoking in a room nearby. It was definitely seeping through to our room. I could've sworn that smoking wasn't allowed but I guess they ignored that part... All in all I had a pleasant stay here and would certainly book again! read more

I understand now why the reviews for this hotel was so low. I should have checked that prior to setting up a reservation. I was in room 235 on the night if 11/29/16. The check in process was not bad. I used Marriott's mobile check-in, so it was pretty quick. When I laid down to go to sleep, it sounded like the sirens from the multitude of emergency vehicles on US 301 were in my room. It was so loud. At around 3AM, people started walking up and down the stairs next to my room. It sounded like they were hammering on my wall. It was incredibly loud. Then around 5AM, a train rolled down the tracks that were about three quarters of a mile from the hotel. It was as clear as it could be. Extremely loud. It seems like there was no sound proofing in the room. To add insult to injury, after running the shower in the morning for 30 minutes, there was no hot water in the shower. I did have some hot water in the sink and ended up having to wash up using the sink. I will be in the area quite a few times over the next 6 months. I can guarantee that I will not be staying in this hotel ever again. read more

I've stayed at this Courtyard several times before and it's one of my favorites. Very clean room, trendy setup and great desk/work area. Not to mention a nice HD TV. Staff is always professional and helpful. Location is easy to get too and there is tons of options for eating / quick shopping trips. The only thing holding them back is the always sluggish internet access. It's not very dependable regardless of wifi of network cable. Often a mifi or wireless card is considerably faster. Having visited this establishment, I'd have to say that it is near quite a few amenities in a growing city. The hotel is hidden near a major highway but close enough to get what you need, if you need something. Staff - Yes. The staff was very helpful in assisting me in getting my room, extending my checkout time and obtaining a new key when the key I was using stopped working. The staff went the extra mile to ensure customer care and it appeared the staff had things in hand. Cleanliness - Yes. The room was very nice...mirrors other Courtyard Marriott hotels...weird, but I suppose mirroring its other hotels assists in returning guests find their way??? The room was very clean and well kept. No issues there. If I was to complain about anything regarding the hotel it would be the parking lot. There was definitely a lack of attention to this as there was trash scattered throughout the lot and surrounding the sides of the building. Not very appealing or attractive. Amenities - Yes. As previously stated, there are lots to do in the surrounding area...if you have transportation. Otherwise, your stuck at the hotel or walking through parking lots or alongside a busy highway (which does have a sidewalk but the area isn't the best place to walk alone). Location - Yes/No. Although in a hidden location off a major highway, the area is not the best location where I saw many people walking around. I was outside my car getting stuff into the trunk when I was approached by two men who wanted to know if I was interested in giving them money to get a tattoo...weird request. I was dressed in fatigues and so they didn't really make too much of a stink when I told them no. They assumed I was military and walked over to another person who was waiting in the car and on the phone. Nothing happened, but I suppose when you're in a not-so-nice neighborhood, what do you expect? Security - Yes/No. Yes...for the fact that all rooms were indoors so no bystanders walking by had direct access to the rooms. I felt safe in the room. No...the area is not the best in terms of criminal activity. As mentioned above, I was approached for them to ask me for money. Being outside several times over a few days, I felt I had to be on-guard every time I step foot in the hotel parking lot. Overall - Yes. There is not much a hotel can do to prevent criminal activity. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped where they could to assist its customers. My reason for 4 out of 5 stars is due to the security concerns and the trash scattered throughout the property. read more

I am giving this place 2 stars because it was completely understaffed resulting in numerous issues. I was only there for a night (2/25/17) and was unable to use the toilet in my room because it would not flush without overflowing. I called the front desk twice before he came upstairs himself to solve the problem. I had to use the lobby bathroom last night as well as today because yes; it stopped working again. The lonny bathroom was filthy (please see pictures). There was never anyone at the front desk so I couldn't notify anyone about the lobby bathroom(last night), about my toilet not flushing again(this morning); or even being able to make a purchase from the store. I was very disappointed with my stay; I mentioned it to the front desk attendant who came to fix my toilet and he stated "it's only him doing everything" well they need more staff read more

Giving three stars because the staff is great! However, this hotel need a good cleaning. The first room had stains on the wall next to the toilet- didn't like knowing what that was... the rod that you use to pull the curtains closed was on the floor and propped against them. I asked for another room. This was okay, but the bathroom floor looked it it had not been mopped. There were dried stain circles. I also saw tiny ants on the desk. I was eating my takeout and looked down and saw the ant. Then in morning, I saw a few more. read more

Don't waste your time with this establishment. You risk the chance of getting kicked out by bartenders who abuse their authority when no other managers are on the clock. Crappy food options at the restaurant & cheap wine to choose from. Residence Inn by Marriott is a much better option & the staff is very nice & actually makes you feel like you're patronizing a Marriott establishment. The Courtyard by Marriott is more of a lower grade experience in just about all areas of accommodations. There are a few people on staff that give it hope but not too many read more

I've stayed in Marriott properties for over 30 years and this location may be the worst of all. The staff is friendly but the property is lacking. Outdated and seemingly uninsulated, noises are everywhere, especially the floors and the elevator. And voices carry throughout the cold hallways. Forget watching TV, unless you want to watch ESPN2 orPBS. All other channels indicate "no connection," even though the front says that the repairman is working on it. We stayed at this hotel 7/21/2016 to 7/24. Hotel staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful as they could. But the hotel is very short staffed. (only one employee on duty). Elevator and hallways were fifthly where people had spilled and dropped things on the floors that was never cleaned up the 4 days we were there. Dirty handprints all over the elevator and windows in the lobby and lounge .Seam was coming apart on sofa. Couldn't find a full length mirror to get dressed until the last day. Even went downstairs to the restroom looking for one. For 2 days no one in the staff knew where I could find one I finally found one one the back of the bathroom door on the last day. The refrigerator was so small we could nor put 2 left over containers in it. I stay in hotels about 3 nights a week. This was one of the worst I've experienced. read more

This Courtyard is in a good location and is only a few miles always from the rail station into DC. The hotel room I had was clean and well maintained. One of the first things I check when getting a room is the bathroom and bedding. Both were spotless. The only drawback for this Courtyard was the top floor rooms are noisy in the summer. The large AC units on the roof seem to be anchored to the core beams without noise dampers which makes some rooms in the center of the building quite loud. So beware. I had to change my room because of the noise level. Other than that I will definitely stay here on my next visit this fall. read more

I'm a platinum rewards member, and try to stay in Marriott properties wherever I am (if available). First off...the staff are all super friendly, the lobby seems to be kind of updated, my corner room is huge, free wi-fi, and it's convenient to a lot of restaurants. Get off on the 2nd floor, and I thought they must have hosted a frat party the night before. The carpeting through the hallway and my room were filthy. Nothing like getting ready in the morning and having your bare feet stick to something in the carpet. A seam on the sofa is blown out and filling is seeping out. Hole punched in the closet door. Random dips in the flooring, like carpeting is covering a hole. Hole in the bed sheets. Elevator sounds like cables are moments from snapping. This is hands down the grimiest Marriott property I've ever stayed in. There is a nice looking Residence Inn nearby, but I've heard a mix of comments about that one...it looks nicer/newer driving by. I generally avoid Hilton properties, but there is a Garden Inn nearby that looks like it is brand new and the Taj Majal in comparison to this Courtyard. read more

Very disappointing. Our room was ready early plus point. It went downhill after that. When we entered the room there was a strange order. It smelled as if someone had used the bathroom and didn't flush. It was obvious that the bathroom had not been cleaned but merely wipe downed at the most. There was stuff on the floor as it had not been swept and the shower had obvious soap scum. The area where the bed and the rest of the furniture was located had a smell as well. It smelled fishy. I immediately pulled out a can of Lysol and sprayed everything and I mean everything down to include the couch and the spreadsheets. As we let for some errands the next day I informed the front desk of our concerns. When we returned there was definitely a difference in the bathroom but the sitting area still had the fishy smell. I am not sure if it was coming from the air conditioner but it didn't appear to be. I also made a trip to the lobby convenience area and purchased a bottle of water. There was a sign posted that stated bottled water such as 20oz Aquafina $1.50 When I took it to the desk the clerk tried to charge me over $3.00 and I informed that is not what the sign says he states well my systems says $3.00 plus tax. The bartender interjected and told me to purchase it from the bar where I purchased it cheaper. Really Courtyard. As I was getting into bed the last night of our stay I noticed something on the bedspread. I thought it was some lint or something. It was actually a stain and after further observations I noticed there were clearly more stains on the bedspread. I am not sure how often the bedspreads are washed but a better job needs to be done especially since they are white. The towels were extremely abrasive. I am not sure what type of detergent they are using but they need to change it. The funniest thing was the made had the nerve to leave a note stating she left the room nice and tidy for us. LOL NOT. Give me a clean room and forego the happy hour and overpriced food. I won't be back. read more

I booked this hotel as it was on our way to pickup a vehicle. It was clean and comfortable. The folks at the front desk were very friendly and helpful when we were looking for a restaurant to eat at late at night. We would return if ever in this area again. read more

The rooms on a scale from 1-10 is a 6 There was dirt stains on the rug. The pool is good The jacuzzi work but doesn't get hot The area is a 10 you have an assortment of stores and restaurants. "Wonderful" There is a Starbucks in the lobby...but don't count on buying anything because there is never anyone there to service you. read more
