We knew going in that she would receive the fit ID process and a tailored approach to receiving a personalized shoe fitting. Our "Outfitter" was Abby, an experienced runner, who made us feel comfortable through the entire process. She communicated through her words and manner that she wanted the best shoe for my wife. In addition to the 3D scanner, the pressure mapping mat was a low pressure way to direct the shoe selection process. We left with shoes that my wife felt comfortable wearing and pleased with the fit. Fleet Feet is a chain and offers a rewards program. Given the price of new shoes, it's easy to reach the first reward tier. The store itself is clean, small, organized, and an efficient use of the space. The selection is limited, but of good quality. In addition to running shoes, the store offers Garmin watches, insoles, running hats, shoe laces, energy gels, running shorts and tops, and the like. We parked on Independence Lane, just a few steps from the entrance. I have no hesitation returning to go through the Fit ID process and receive good service.

We decided to go back to this store because we both purchased New Balance sneakers in February...and the gentleman that helped us back then was very nice! Don't recall his name... But today was an entirely different experience- I see that there are other comments and reviews for the woman behind the desk- rude and unsympathetic. We walked in and the first thing she said was, "do you have an appointment" and I said No. I asked if my mom could get a pair of shoes and she said "No - you need an appointment- booked for the day"! Then she said quite abruptly "you should have called"...hahahaha- really... I said I was here in Feb. and we just walked in- I asked her when they changed the policy, and she said about a month ago... Unless you are a customer that visits this store every day, how would one know about this policy change? { I viewed the website before I wrote this review and it doesn't even state anything about the required appointment - except: "Appointments for medical issues are highly recommended". Actually, the main webpage states: " We're not your everyday shoe store! Call us today to see how we can help you"! Now that is a pleasant and welcoming statement- too bad they don't carry over that business model into their store.} Then I asked the woman if I could speak to the man who was helping (the one and only customer in the store), and she said "No, you can't" - Hold on whoa!! What is her attitude? Well at that point I turned to my Mom and her aide and said "we are leaving; they are very disrespectful" ...As I passed by the man, I spoke to him directly anyway...asked if he could quickly see my Mom since she is elderly and doesn't get out much....I intentionally spoke to him because unless you are my GOD, you are not going to tell me who I can or can't communicate with...I found out he is the owner and he said he has no staff and he is very ill - of course, I am so sorry for your situation, but you should fire your rude staff person and close up shop now... perhaps you just don't care how you treat people! Karma works in strange ways. Thank goodness for FLEET FEET - they were very accommodating, and my Mom was in her new pair of $150 sneakers within an hour after we left your shop. If I could convince others reading this review not to come to your store then I have accomplished one small deed. We were all pleasantly surprised by how much we liked this location. The Nike outlet near me in West Palm Beach isn't always the best, but this store had a great selection. Even my high school senior son, who can be picky, found plenty he liked. He ended up buying T-shirts, shorts, and a pair of sneakers. I even bought the same sneakers as him--his idea, and it was a fun mother-son moment! The prices were excellent, especially with the additional sales they were running on many items. We accidentally bought the wrong size shorts for my son and returned the next day. The exchange was quick, easy, and hassle-free. Every employee we encountered was friendly and courteous. I also liked that they carried Nike x SKIMS products, including running bras, which was a nice bonus. Overall, this was a great shopping experience, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area. I hadn't bought "tennis"shoes in a long time and wasn't sure what I wanted. After asking some questions Nicole gave some suggestions. She was the only salesperson there and was also waiting on my wife and another customer. I tried on a few different pairs while she patiently waited on me, helping me find the right shoes for my arthritic feet, while hustling back and forth to the other customers. With her help I finally bought a pair of Brooks Glycerin GTS. I can honestly say, my feet have not felt this good in years. I must also add that Nicole knows a lot about shoes and feet.
