Any haircut I've even had with different stylists over the years have always cut my hair dry. (My hair is wavy & I also love my long hair). Here at Blushing Beauty, it was cut wet. Extremely risky when someone has curly hair since curls // waves have a mind of their own and cutting hair whilst wet // straight won't translate when it's dry and curly. That's exactly what happened here. My hair stylist didn't ask me anything about my hair or lifestyle. My hair is wavy // curly, I always wear it natural, and I love the length and rarely get it cut. She asked no questions and was completely uninformed while cutting my hair. She even thinned out the sections by my face. So image that when it's curly!!! I told her I was unsure about that and she did it anyway and then was like "see? Just like that". WHAT? SEE? You can't take it back??? I feel like my hair is completely destroyed. I'm still incredibly happy with my cut however I'm incredibly unhappy about my coloring. 4 days after leaving I washed my hair and my hair turned VERY yellow/gold--exactly what I said I didn't want. I messaged her on a Monday--she responded the next day and apologized and told me "sometimes with the lightning it ends up being a bit yellow" (that's never happened to me). Requested I give it a few more washes and another week and she would then tone it. (Toning would darken--not lighten). She said she looked over my photos and said when I left the salon she thought she did what I wanted--she did however it washed out. I messaged her to let her know that I went some place else. Where I was informed that she did not leave it on my hair long enough and it was not blended well at all. I had paid $360 (with tip, to Mallory). She not only didn't offer to refund ANY of my money, she also didn't even apologize that I had went someplace else. I would never go back to her based on the lack of response and refund. Terrible.
