After his COVID hospitalization, my father, in his 90's, needed full-time care. Through a referral, I contacted Mom's Home Care, and within a week they had arranged round-the-clock coverage with exceptional caregivers. The caregivers were reliable, compassionate, and attentive, providing outstanding care for my father. The case manager handled all logistics seamlessly, ensuring continuous coverage during vacations, illnesses, and unexpected situations. She was also a valuable source of practical advice throughout the process. As my father's dementia progressed, the team adapted to his changing needs and continued to provide excellent care all the way through to the end of his life including hospital stays and hospice care. Beyond the care itself, they were a calming and comforting presence for my father and gave me peace of mind when I wasn't there. Their care allowed my father to remain at home, which meant everything to our family. Thank you Mom's Home Care.

It was a stressful time as you can imagine. There are a lot of care decisions that need to be made and I had very little experience to fall back on. At the recommendation of a friend, I contacted Mom's Home Care. On that initial call they did a wonderful job explaining the process and answering our questions. Their guidance was invaluable and the care team they assembled was great. Thankfully, my dad is on his way to making a full recovery. The Mom's Home Care team was instrumental in making this possible.

What can I say other than absolute good things about this agency…read more My mom had the pleasure to receive some hours from them and I am beyond pleased with not only the staff but the nurse/caregivers that were placed in my home for care for my mom. They were accommodating, friendly and always on time. In the future if I need this type of service I would not hesitate to do business with them again. Thanks!!!!!!!

I interviewed several service providers for in-home care. Home Instead in Culver City, CA is by far head and shoulders above the crowd! The staff is excellent, all of them. Chazz came to our home, went over everything with us, explained how things worked, the cost and the flexible way in which you can change hours with advanced notice. When I asked for a single caregiver because my husband becomes agitated with too many people they said "yes" that could be arranged. Joyce Jones is our caregiver and WOW! She is simply the best. She is professional, knowledgeable about dementia patients, warm and caring all in one package! She is patient, stimulates him mentally, makes sure he gets exercise, and that he eats well. She provides breakfast and lunch - always finds creative ways to use what's on hand. She gives medication, checks BP and weight everyday. The scheduling staff, the billing staff - all are excellent! I will use Home Instead for as long as I can keep my husband in his own home where he is thriving due to them! Thank you Home Instead!

Matthew and the rest of the Westchester took care of my mom with compassion, care, tolerance and second to none quality. Our family is forever grateful and they are extended family. There are so many wonderful people to mention but I can't recall every single name and there is no slight to names not mentioned. Ms Kendall was like my mom's sister and provided an unparalleled attention to my mother's needs. She operated in numerous capacities and even took over the activity center and was instrumental with intake and along with Matthew guided us every step of the way. Karla and Vangie came along later but were very responsive with any medicine or administrative concerns or needs. Enrique resolved any maintenance issues that needed attention and always did it with a smile. And Heather assisted my mom tremendously through day to day needs and was stern when my mom was being stubborn. There are so many other names but I am very thankful to still be in touch with my Westchester Villa family.

We had used a different caregiving service in the past, and the difference in the quality of care was truly night and day. After a hospital stay, my mom was discharged into hospice care, and we found ourselves in need of 24-hour support. I contacted more than 15 caregiving agencies, hoping to find a team that could meet my mom's needs and provide compassionate end-of-life care. From my very first conversation with Brenda, the case manager at Complete In-Home Care, I felt reassured that we were in capable hands. Despite having only a couple of days to arrange care, Brenda assembled an outstanding team of caregivers with hospice and end-of-life experience, which was exactly what our family needed. Every caregiver who came into our home was professional, knowledgeable, dependable, and compassionate. They cared for my mom with dignity, respect, and kindness, treating her as if she were their own family member. Their experience and attentiveness gave us confidence that my mom was comfortable and receiving the best possible care during her final days. What stood out most was not only the care they provided to my mom, but also the support they gave to our entire family. They understood the emotional challenges that come with saying goodbye to a loved one and offered comfort, guidance, and reassurance when we needed it most. Their presence allowed us to focus on spending meaningful time with my mom rather than worrying about her care. We will always be grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and dedication shown by the Complete In-Home Care team. They exceeded our expectations in every way and brought peace of mind to our family during an incredibly difficult and emotional time. I would without a doubt recommend Complete In-Home Care to anyone seeking quality caregiving services.

BAIT AND SWITCH. Stay away from Complete In-Home Care Services. I contracted with them to help me…read morecare for my spouse during in-home hospice. I signed a service agreement that spelled out their rates. I gave them my credit card info when I signed the agreement, and they charged my account without providing itemized invoices or receipts until I asked for them. Upon examining them, I noticed that the amounts they charged were higher than the amounts I calculated based on the agreement and the number of hours of service they provided. It boiled down to two specific discrepancies: 1. The agreement clearly states: "A corresponding hourly rate of 1 and 1/2 times the regular rate will be applied and billed for all hours in excess of 9 hrs. / day, 40 hours per week." The REGULAR rate that I was quoted was $36.00 per hour, so the OT rate at time-and-a-half rate was $54.00. The agreement also clearly states: "The twenty-four (24) hour period constituting the following holidays will be billed at 1 and 1/2 times the regular rate: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day." They did provide services over the July 4 holiday, and the above excerpt says those hours will be billed at 1 1/2 times the REGULAR rate. The agreement does not mention anything about a different "regular" rate for holidays. Yet I was billed $81.00 for each of those 24 hours (1 1/2 times the OT rate). 2. The agreement clearly states: "Billing will be based on actual time worked by caregivers." My spouse passed away, and the caregiver left, several hours before the caregiver's shift was over, yet I was charged for the entire shift, not for the ACTUAL TIME WORKED. When I brought this to the attention of CIHC, I was told that it's their policy to bill for the entire shift, whether or not the caregiver worked the entire shift. (Then why did the agreement say otherwise?) In each of these cases, there was no way of my knowing about those discrepancies before I signed the agreement, and therefore, I was not able to make an informed decision. After weeks of emails and phone calls, they finally refunded me the amount for the holiday rate discrepancy ($198.00). But as of Oct. 20, they have outright refused to refund the partial shift amount ($162.00). Regarding care, it was adequate. The main caregiver they sent was good at performing the services but lacked compassion. I felt she was just there to do a job. Two other caregivers were much more caring but weren't as available. I'll never use CIHC again and do not recommend them.
