He's thorough when he knows what he's talking about, honest when he doesn't, and doesn't dance around with platitudes. I'm going to guess that's a bit off-putting by people who are used to being coddled, but for me, I really appreciate his approach. I don't want to be pals and talk about the Tigers game for 8 of the 10 minutes he's in the room. I want to not feel sick. Done and done. Getting a same-day appointment isn't too difficult if you've got something legit, and though it may not be with the Doctor himself, his PA is at least as good. I've never once felt like "Okay, go get the doctor" when I've seen her. I also appreciate not being left in the waiting room forever, or being brought back near my appointment, only to be left in the exam room for 45 minutes. When I've asked for a same-day appointment, the longest I've waited was maybe 20 minutes total. With appointments, it's usually about 10 minutes. I'm pretty quick to change doctors when something seems amiss, but I can honestly say that I don't think I've ever been to a practice that's instilled -- and more importantly, earned -- nearly implicit trust.

I was his patient for…read moreabout 6 years until I moved to the east side and his office became too far of a drive with my work schedule. Dr. Feldman is a very direct, no BS, honest Doc. He does not sugar coat things and I'm all about that. This DOES NOT mean he dissent care for his patients compassionately, because he very much does. When he takes you on as a patient, he's dedicated to you and your healthcare. My girlfriends father at the time went into the hospital for chest pain and he drive to the hospital on a Saturday night to make sure things were being done the right way. A HUGE plus is that he does not refer small procedures out to specialists. He can take care of so much in his office right away. Need an x-Ray? A wart zapped off? A mole removed? A skin tag snipped? He does it. Same day, same building. You'll save money this way. Go see this Doctor, understand his direct and blunt attitude isn't a rude or uncaring way, it's the best way to let you know what you must do to have the longest and healthiest life possible. If you're overweight, he's not afraid to tell you. Don't be offended by direct and accurate information. Just as an example. I hope to move back to that area and be his patient again in the near future.

A few of them are very very nice, but the girls at the front desk or who handle admin. things, are completely unprofessional and rude. even little things like when your pharmacist has called and emailed/faxed a request for a prescription multiple times and they said they never got it. And that happens month after month after month. Every time I have had to call or ask for something, they make me feel like I am bothering them. (and believe me, it's not like I try or want to call the doctor all the time.) I realize everybody has a bad day, but after years of this, I finally have to stop giving them my business. It was great before the pandemic now they become unreasonable. They stopped scheduling appointments when you actually need to see a doctor. I was told when I called for a visit, the doctors will not see me if a have a fewer... not sure why you even have a practice and call yourself a doctors office if you don't want to see sick patients. She makes everyone feel welcome, both young and old, athletic and non athletic! I was terrified of going to PT my first time as I am not the most coordinated person in the room. Nicole immediately put me at ease and helped me succeed. Gabby the receptionist is amazing and always greets everyone with a smile! She is great on working with all those insurance issues. Nick and Jess, the 2 techs, are helpful when remembering your PT exercise routine. They are both helpful with learning new exercises and operating the equipment. Courtney is also a PT and she is very good as well. She is extremely patient with older clients and cheering them on while they do their workouts. I have never had to utilize Mikayla but she is friendly as well and seems to be well liked by her clients. This is a fantastic PT place and always has the best staff! (Back and hip pain was still there, but not as bad,). I have only been going 3 weeks and my issue is neurological. Andy gave me some good exercises to do for my knees and hips and lower back, so hopefully in about 2-3 weeks I will see the results. I came in to this TOTALLY out of shape, mostly because I couldn't walk more than 1/10 of a mile without severe pain. I also have an ataxic gait that doesn't make walking easier. When my husband went in, he was a nearly 70 year old in EXCELLENT shape and only needed a few sessions and exercises that he could do at the gym.

Otherwise, I could go to Huron Valley hospital and he would logon to the site to see my CAT scan. Scheduled the CAT scan at RMT on Woodward in Royal Oak (from his list) and paid $350 and brought him the CD. The response I got was that he didn't have the software to read the CD. That was another $40 copay visit for him to just tell me that. Then why tell me to go to RMT and bring you the CD? Super frustrating, had to find a new EMT and pay more deductibles. I can look at the CAT scan myself on my PC and there is clearly red arrows all over the place pointing to issues in my sinus cavity, thankfully a new doctor can easily read the CD. It's pretty simple. This guy does not have a DICOM Medical Image Reader, but sends people for CAT scans with instructions to bring him the CD he won't read. Skip the frustration and find a more current doctor.
