Not thrilled at the end product!! Guys arrived and were there for maybe 30 minutes. For 30 minutes of work and the price charged, it doesn't make sense. Also, I've never had carpets cleaned and the carpets not get raked. They didn't do they. The carpets look no different. Nothing special about what they did. Not worth it, if you ask me. 2nd. year that I've used Commercial to clean my carpet. This year, they cleaned the entire carpeted area of the house. The completed job turned out very good. The carpets are clean @ odorless (I have a dog). The guys are very professional, do their job on-time, follow instructions and are very nice to work with. There are other cleaning companies and I've used them because of price. The results from those companies has always been poor-fair overall. I'll pay to get it done RIGHT the first time. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but when I hire a company because of its excellent Yelp profile, I feel like it's a community service. I hired CST to clean three rooms and two sets of steps. The quoted price was approx. $600.00 The good: Customer service in setting up the appt and communicating about timing was great; cleaners were friendly. The bad: CST didn't come even a little close to solving my issue. I had to have new carpet installed in two rooms pretty much right after their cleaning. The carpet in the third room didn't seem that clean after CST's efforts either, but I didn't want to go through the trouble of replacing it. Instead, I had the pad replaced, and I borrowed my neighbor's Hoover carpet cleaner to give it a once-over. Long story long, it took me hours of going over and over the carpet before the water in the carpet cleaner ran clean. (And before anyone imagines 20-year old carpet in the playroom of a multiple-kid, multiple-pet household--the carpet is eight years old, has been professionally cleaned twice, and is in an occasionally-used room--which now has a brand new carpet pad. No one is going into this room with their muddy shoes on to smoke while the dogs pee in the corner and the kids barf.) I'm not looking for miracles, but after spending days cleaning this carpet myself after Commercial Steam Clean failed to do so, I'm irritated enough to leave a negative review. read more

Commerical Steam Clean did a great job with our gymnastics gym! This is a very large space and has special carpet bonded foam that gets chalky and dusty and dirty! They got out all the stains and the carpet smelled great without being too perfume smelling. The gentle men I worked with were friendly and professional. We will definitely use them again! read more

My carpets are clean. They arrived more than an hour outside the predicted window and didn't tell us they would be late until we were already 30 minutes past the arrival window. And getting back to basics, my carpets are clean but stains I thought might not come out didn't come out, so I didn't have this life changing experience that would overcome the irritation of waiting. Commercial Steam Team went above and beyond when coming to clean our Mom's condo carpeting so it would be ready in time for it's listing date. They weren't able to do it the first day with the equipment they had, but they not only came immediately the next morning, they were gracious in working out a price the was reasonable and, against all odds (the water was turned off in the building) found a way to get the job done perfectly. Wow. Just wow. We had a living room carpet that has taken some abuse from two dogs over the past 2 years. It was pretty heavily stained. She was so patient with me as I had not had my morning coffee. Ha When the guys called to tell me they were on their way... they actually got here when they said! FONTAYNE AND AKEEN are true professionals! They ere sure to treat our home BETTER than we do!!! They are kind and courteous. Our senior dog was causing some major headaches in our new house with too many accidents to keep up with. We recently moved out of our old house and had used zerorez there to get the carpets cleaned before the house was listed. We were generally quite happy with their service, but I was a little peeved by the extra charges and final cost was way more than I initially anticipated. I was also disappointed that they moved NO furniture (there was very minimal furniture left as we had already moved out. His excuse was that the wooden furniture legs would stain the carpet. Fair enough) So when we needed to get the urine and odor out at the new house, I looked elsewhere, and I'm SO thrilled with the end result from Commercial Steam Team. The cost was about equal to what we paid zerorez, BUT included 5 large bedrooms, a huge living room, hallway, and the stairs/landing. They even did all walk-in closets, and the storage room under the stairs that I wasn't expecting. Added attention to details like including the stair risers was also very appreciated. CST cost included pretreating, protectant, and deodorizing all areas, with extra attention given to the problem areas I had pointed out prior to cleaning. This is compared to 2 small bedrooms and a family room at the old house that zerorez did with their level 2 cleaning...for the same cost. Also, I was happily surprised to see that Commercial Steam Team did move and clean under our large sectional, and easily solved the potential wooden mark problem by placing the furniture on plastic while the carpet dries. Obvious and easy solution. The men who cleaned the carpet were professional and respectful, both towards me, and amongst themselves. They gave tips for faster drying and even left us shoe covers. Bottom line, our carpets look and smell amazing, and it was well-priced. I won't hesitate to use and recommend Commercial Steam Team in the future! read more

I hired Commercial Steam Team based on their excellent reviews. I was not disappointed! We had some unique furniture challenges that the guys were able to accomodate. They came on an exceptionally cold MN day but were able to keep the incoming cold air to a minimum. They were sweet to my son and dog. And yes... they did an amazing job cleaning the carpets and couches! They were even able to get a nasty car grease stain out of one of the cushions that 2 previous companies failed to remove. Ryan was great on the phone, worked around my schedule and got his guys to come out within 2 days. He even provided me with a discount because I had no furniture in the house (easier for the guys to do their job)! They did a fantastic job on my carpets, getting out some light stains and impressions left by furniture. The drying time was minimal and my whole house smelled wonderful!
