I had a great experience with Klein Carpet Cleaning. What really impressed me was how thorough they…read morewere--not just in the cleaning, but in explaining exactly what was going on with the stains in the carpet. They took the time to break down how pet stains actually work, explaining how urine and other organic stains can soak through the carpet fibers into the padding and sometimes even the subfloor. Instead of just masking the smell or surface stain like many companies do, they walked me through the proper process required to truly remove it--treating the area with the right solutions, allowing time for the treatment to break down the contaminants, and then extracting everything from deep in the carpet. They also explained the difference between stains that can be fully removed versus ones that may have permanently altered the carpet fibers, which I appreciated because it was honest and educational rather than a sales pitch. The level of transparency and care they showed made it clear they genuinely want to fix the problem, not just make it look better for a few days. If you want someone who understands stains at a technical level and actually takes the time to do the job right, I highly recommend Klein Carpet Cleaning. Great service, great results, and people who truly care about helping their customers.

Matt offered to go by with his…read moretrusty black light and give me an estimate, including if the carpet could be cleaned or should be replaced. Overall, I have NEVER dealt with a more knowledgeable person in pretty much any trade I've ever hired! Great communication, show up when they say they will show up, thorough, and follow through with a customized cleaning plan like you won't get with anyone else. After seeing the extent of the pet damage, he recommended replacing all the carpet, not cleaning it, because the damage was too extensive to be able to remove long-term pet odors from the existing carpet (and he explained why). Then, after bidding himself out of making any money on the job, he STILL spend a significant amount of time on the phone with me talking about what he saw, why it's an issue (how pet odors work and what you need to do to TRULY get rid of them, which I had no idea!), the importance of fixing it before selling it, etc. He was SOOOO honest, knowledgeable, and helpful, saving me from a lot of potential trouble later. He was so amazing, I tried really hard to pay him for his time and expertise, but he wouldn't even take any money for his invaluable advise. I could tell instantly that this is a guy who is passionate about his work and doing right by his customers. Matt is one of the few Certified Master Textile Cleaners who actually works in the field, and it is clear how passionate he is about his craft. He knows about EVERYTHING from cleaning carpets and furniture to household chemical products. He was FASCINATING and I learned so much. I have never come across someone like Matt, the level of honesty and depth of knowledge. He was so great, I am trying to hire him to consult on the flooring in my own house in another state because I have NEVER had a carpet company like him. He truly looks at each job individually, comes up with a custom plan for your situation including the products to use, how to clean, etc. He also puts an emphasis on using non-toxic products, which I LOVE. You will be in the BEST hands using Matt and Klein Carpet Cleaning.

I first heard of this company years ago on the radio, but my friend recently told me about them and…read morethe great service they provide as her family and friends have used them in the past. I recently moved into my new place and wanted the carpet cleaned. Our entry stairs are the only carpeted area and they took a beating to all the trips bringing inside. I knew I wanted to get them professionally cleaned, and I ended up going with my friend's suggestion. It was easy to schedule via chat. Just like Comcast, you pick a day and schedule a 4 hour window. I saw a deal online for 2 bedrooms for $99. Since I only have carpet on the 14 stairs, that's all I was interested in having cleaned. They charge $5 per stair and since that didn't exceed $99, I opted to add the carpet protection (around $40). There's a $25 service fee added to the process too. I ended up spending about $140. Ernesto was the cleaner that showed up on the desired date. He called me 20 minutes prior to arrival to give me fair warning. The whole time he was very friendly and informative. He was courteous about where he parked and the whole process maybe took about 30-40 minutes. He let me know when he was done and it was a very easy process. I would book them in the future when needed.

CAUTION - Double Check how wet they leave your carpet! We had a total of three rooms, a hallway and…read moretwo staircases cleaned. We have Berber carpet. The first technician left too much water in the carpet on one of the staircases which led to mold, then their attempt to fix by charging us for a bio treatment left the staircase stinking of a Raid bug spray smell that would not come out. Zero Rez has done Zero to correct their mistakes and in running our carpet. The three rooms, hallway and one set of stairs turned out decent. The second set of stairs has been a nightmare. The original technician did not pull up enough water after the application. After 24 hours everything was dry except the one staircase and the bottom landing. It was still soaking, and I mean soaking wet. We placed fans in the staircase to help dry it out. All to no avail. We called customer service after 24hrs, and they sent out another technician the next day. Carpet now soaking wet for over 48hrs. The second technician attempted to pull some of the excess water out of the carpet on the stairs that had now been sitting soaking wet for going on 48 hours. At the 72hr mark a horrible smell of mold was overwhelming in the staircase. We called customer service again and had to wait for Mike the Manager/supervisor to approve another visit. He said it would not be good to re-clean the carpet and that they would treat it instead with a Bio compound and deodorizer. The next day another technician applied the Bio compound. The mold smell was replaced with the smell of the Bio compound which smells like Raid bug spray. Another 24 hours later (total time to completely dry = 144 hours) and the carpet in the stairwell is now dry but there is a lingering smell of the bio compound which smells like heavy bug spray. We called and spoke with customer service who could not help and had to transfer us to leave a message with Mike the Manager but received no call back and no attempt to resolve the Zero Rez caused problem. Adding insult to injury the original technician took a photo of our credit card front and back. Very suspicious. We received our invoice, and we were charged an extra $150.00 for the Bio treatment. We have since cancelled our CC and had to have a new one issued. We also have family coming to visit and with no help at all from Zero Rez or Mike the Manager to resolve the issue they created we have been forced to replace the carpet on the stairs at a cost of $1,400.00. It is the only way to get the Raid bug spray smell out of our stairs and home.
