We worked with Commercial Swim Management for about 6 months after an initial intro with Fernando, the head of the maintenance crews. He was very knowledgeable and helped us upgrade our pool to be a bit more self-service. We enjoyed our experience with him and the install technician and decided to move forward with weekly pool service. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. We had several instances where someone would come out and note that "everything was done" as shown in the attached photo. We'd be outside later that day and check the skimmer, which was totally full. Then we'd check the pump, totally full. For context, this was mid-summer, so it wasn't like leaves were endlessly dropping. I let Fernando know and he said it must be the leaves, so I let it go. Then a few weeks later, my pool turned green 2 days after a weekly service, right as we were having family over (mid-summer). I let Fernando know and he personally came to clean it and rebalance the pool. Then a few weeks later, the picture attached happened where the guy came for 1 minute, marked everything as done, and left without even entering the pool area. It just so happened we had installed security cameras and proved what we had previously suspected was going on (we thought he had done this a few times). Really unfortunate, but Commercial Swim's weekly pool service was very unreliable for us and ultimately deceitful in the end, in our case, which is what caused us to end the service. I would not recommend anyone work with them. I'd also caution anyone that may initially engage with them as part of a repair/upgrade. My experience was they send their best people out for that, but when you're on the weekly maintenance, good luck. read more

This company has been continuously in control of servicing our Sunfield aquatic facilities for years. They failed to prepare them for opening at the usual start of season and it became obvious that they were not properly maintaining the equipment (filters) once the facilities were opened. The facilities have now been open for 1 month and they are still weeks away from completing the removal of the algae that grew while under their continuous care. Pool and lazy river have had to many closers this year. Parts have been on order to long. Who is in charge for ordering parts. They are on order is not a sufficient answer. A call should be made every day to the vendor or factory to expedite the parts or contact some other manufacturer to see who has the parts. This is standard procedure to expedite what is needed. I've had Commercial Swim out for a couple jobs and have them queued up for another (waiting on a part). I first came into contact with them through Pentair warranty. They came out within 2 days and replaced my broken chlorinator. The gentlemen who came was extremely knowledgeable and took extra time to tie-wrap things and leave the site in better condition than before. I had a multi-port replaced, and the same service person came. He put extra couplings in to make future replacements/maintenance easier, and even spent extra time to completely clean the site with a hose. He spent extra time explaining how he did the repair, what he changed and asked multiple times if I had any other questions. I've found them reliable and they perform quality work! read more

I had a busted pipe on my pool. For a while (thanks a lot Covid!) I was unable to get anyone out. I reached out again to 5-6 pool companies to see who could give me an estimate and Commercial Swim was one of the companies that responded quickly. Within a day, they came out to look at the problem and give me an estimate. They were not the cheapest estimate I received but were more in the middle. I know that cheapest is not always best so after meeting the owner and visiting with him I felt comfortable moving forward. They are very busy (with everyone else in the pool business right now) and said they could get to me the following Friday, about a week. I said that is fine, my pool was empty and I needed to put a refresher coat on it, get it cleaned up etc. While I was done with my part waiting for Friday, they actually showed up on Thursday, which was fine with me since I am working from home right now anyway. They originally said about 1/2 a day, but had the job done in less than 3 hours. I hope to have it up and running again soon. I will contact this company for any pool related issues I have in the future and if you have a pool, you know there will be issues. This was the first of several projects I plan to use them for. When they showed up last year, they were wonderful! The company seemed eager to take over my rather complicated water features. Luis Gutierrez, the GM, showed up on the first and second visits to make sure his tech was lined out. Initially, his plan was to change out the pumps for something twice as powerful. They had worked great for five years, changing the pumps for a bigger size was not the solution! He took payment for the work and then lectured me about how credit memos work. He sent two of the pumps out to have the motors re-wound, separately. It took months to get the repaired pumps back. The tech worked on the spa and it's been nonstop problems ever since.They took one of the arm jets from the spa offsite and lost it. Apparently it's not something they can replace. Rather than stepping up, they went radio silent. It's been almost 6 months since they did the initial work on the spa. They were unable to fix the controls for my heat pump but had no trouble charging me for the work. They came to our house and gave us a 5 figure bid (we were not only going to have the crack repaired but also have them redo the Gunite for the whole pool and replace tiles on our waterfall). They have continually delayed getting started on our job. They promised start dates and no show us all the time. He claimed he fixed what he could and he would call us after checking with the office about fixing what he couldn't. The changes he did make to our scheduling did not work. Mitch came out in June and diagnosed the issue and said he would be back a week later to repair. He didn't show for appointment, and he stopped responding to calls and texts. Called main office again in late July. They connected me to Mark who assured me they would take take of the issue. He came out a week later and said he couldn't fix the issue without Mitch. Said he would get back to me soon with a date. Two messages saying they were still working on schedule. Now, Mark will not respond to calls or texts. read more

If I could make it a zero, I would. This has been some of the worst customer service I have ever received. The previous reviews about bleeding you and leaving you dry are absolutely correct. There have been over $10500 made to my pool equipment between replacing the heat pump and the booster pump and fixing the bulk head assembly and multiple other repairs. Every single time they come out a new leak is produced that was not there before. There answer is "you take that chance when you open something up to repair something else" and that there will be yet ANOTHER repair charge and trip fee. I will never use this company again. They have let the leaks go for over a week without responding when it was a leak that they created. The bulk head was not leaking previously then mysteriously after they came out it was leaking and it looked like they cracked it when they reassembled it, but of course I had to pay for that repair and now there is a new leak that they are going to charge me for that was not there prior to me paying for the bulk head assembly repair. Shayla is absolutely atrocious. She has been rude to me over the phone, not addressing my concerns or caring about the thousands of dollars of repairs paid for by the previous owners and myself over the last month. One time I even called to pay my balance and the address the fact that there was a new leak and she hung up on me before even taking my payment. Now I am supposed to wait with yet another leak for however long it takes them to decide to come fix what they messed up. This year we needed repairs done to our pool. Mitch provided us a quote for plaster, new tile and new coping while also doing some drain repairs. The quote was easy to understand. Their price was in the middle of the various quotes we got. Mitch came to a board meeting and showed the board members the various products we could us on the pool. Once the work started we had Mike as our project manager. He was always available to answer my texts and calls. No question was too dumb. They completed the work on time and on budget. Post the repairs, our service guys are doing a great job keep the chemicals correct and the pool clean. Fernando is our main service guy and again is always happy to answer texts and calls. I've never had a worse experience with a pool company, or any company quite honestly. They are a discombobulated mess when it comes to communication and responsiveness. They make commitments and never follow through. Multiple times they've charged me for cleaning the pool yet nobody serviced the pool. I then have to provide pictures (of my green and dirty pool) and specifically request they eliminate the charges. In their defense, after showing them the photos they have always removed the charges. Recently they did work in the pool and the pool literally lost all its water. They told me to fill it with my hose, which I did and will have to incur the charges of 15,000 gallons of water. And worse yet, the pool emptied again! They weren't able to help me so the pool has sat empty for a week and I'm going to have to fill it up again. I can't even get an answer from their office on what happened and how they're going to fix it and reimburse me. They just ignore it. I'd highly recommend staying away from this company. read more

Called several times and left messages.Made several more attempts then recvd a text(not a call back) from a rude guy name Marty. We hit them with a busted, leaking & gushing water, pool & spa heater on Monday before Christmas! By Wed at 3 pm we had a newly installed brand new heater. Everyone from Shayla, Fernando, David & also Javie, was very professional, fast & absolutely amazing. Without a doubt the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Got an appointment through my home warranty to fix my Polaris pump. Contractor was supposed to show up between 8-12 and give me a 15 minute call. No call, no show. Got home and found a note from the Commercial Swim repair guy noting that he replaced some part. Not only did he not fix the Polaris, the full system pump no longer is working. Tried calling their number and got sent straight to voicemail three times today. It took some time for AHS to order and deliver the replacement, but this company communicated well and showed up when they promised with the new heater. They also hauled the old one away.
