I was very happy with the treatment I received. I am a retired Dental Assistant so I have experience on how a dental office runs. I've read other reviews and know just by reading them, these people need someone to blame for not taking care of their teeth. My personal experience was of a quality, caring and professional office. The front desk greeted me and were helpful scheduling appointments to fit my schedule. The hygienist I saw, Ann was knowledgeable and very thorough as well as informative. I basically knew the status of my oral health even before the doctor came in to do the exam. Dr. Ronges was kind and very good at explaining my treatment plan. I had a tooth with a fracture and although it didn't bother me, they reviewed my options (which from my experience is right on). I chose treatment because I don't want to loose any of my teeth. My treatment of the tooth went well but with any procedure, your tooth will be sensitive for a few weeks which my was also. It is now painless and restored. My husband had a tooth bothering him so we scheduled an emergency visit. As long as you can be flexible with time options, they will see you immediately. While he was checking out, I overheard a telephone conversation between the front desk person and someone calling for an emergency exam. I could see the frustration in the clerks face because she was offering SEVERAL choices but the person on the phone obviously wanted something that wouldn't effect her work schedule (I mean, how bad could a tooth be bothering you if you cannot make one of four time slots offered - really). But the front desk girl remained courteous and did her best. She definately scored points with me. I would recommend this office to anyone seeking professional care in a professional environment. read more

I see this place has some less than satisfactory reviews. Let me start by saying I really don't ever write reviews but I came across this place and saw my beloved dentist now has a job there!! Dr. Ron Hsin has literally been the only dentist to ever help me. I was in horrible pain, needed 2 root canals and 14 cavities filled. Ron went above and beyond for me even before I had insurance and even helped me get an affordable plan that I didn't know exsisted! I worked with him for a little over a year and it broke my heart when he moved and had to transfer locations. Ron put me first, he made impossible things happen for me and relieved me of horrible pain I had dealt with for years. He cares about his patients FIRST. He is intelligent, motivated, kind and easy to talk to and even contacted me after procedures to see how I was. He was always available. No matter what your situation he WILL help you or work it out. Unfortunately Worcester, MA is too far for me to travel but please, if you've already been and had a bad experience go back and ask for Dr. Ron Hsin, I swear to you you WILL have a completely different experience now that he is there. If you are looking for a dentist and you're trying to decide try him out first , it'll save you a lot of time. There aren't many good, caring professionals that have the time to personally be there for you. You can talk to him about anything or you can listen to head phones whatever floats your boat. I was a former patient of DTC Dental and stayed with this staff in their transition to a new office, and I'm glad I did. I have a lot of respect for the NEW management; and recently had a GREAT experience at my cleaning appointment. The new location on Elm Street is beautiful, clean, and high tech. I was impressed with my entire visit. I was also happy to see along with the NEW management, some old faces. I was lucky enough to have Annmarie again for my cleaning and check up. She truly provides the most thorough cleaning I could ever ask for, and Dr. Hornung is always gentle and her work is beautiful. Everything was fully explained to me from the health of my mouth - to how to properly keep my gums and teeth healthy. In addition to the helpfulness of the front desk, I like the atmosphere and friendly environment there. The office manager's name is Yanira; she is very thorough in helping me utilize my dental insurance to help my wallet for a change. The staff are obviously close and keep the mood fun and light for everyone. And as far as my "problem" tooth, I was actually given options for possible treatments. Each option was fully explained along with costs (which continue to be SURPRISINGLY much lower than my previous dentist). I feel like a partner in what ever treatment I choose because of how well they educated me on my choices. Oh, and for all of you considering whitening options, they are running a special called Spring Fling that I just purchased and cannot wait to start. I cannot imagine going ANYWHERE else. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Hsin, both for a dental cleaning and a filling. Dr. Hsin was professional, gentle, quick with all procedures, and above all made my visit completely pain free! If you are someone who gets nervous going to the dentist because you are afraid of pain, you should definitely come here- you will be very pleasantly surprised by how easy everything is. I didn't feel anything- not even the shot for numbing before the filling. I appreciated how gentle, patient, and kind the doctor was, as well as his assistant George. This is by far the best experience I have ever had going to a dentist and I 100% recommend this dentist and this practice! I had the worst experience ever today when I went in to do an extraction. The male 'doctor' was so very rough with me, he should not be allowed to treat his clients like that. I cried throughout the entire extraction and I will never go back there again. this was not my first time going there and all my other experiences were good however, this was the first time I had this person and they have just lost a client. When I broke my tooth, these guys came to the rescue! Not having insurance, I thought I would have to take our a second mortgage to fix my teeth. But the prices here are very fair and the quality is beyond perfect. My crown and fillings feel awesome, Dr. Ronges is very gentle and knowledgeable. They also offer whitening, which is great because I have been needing to whiten my teeth after years of coffee stains. Thumbs up! read more

Not many people can say this about their dentist, but I really enjoy coming to this place! My hygienist is excellent, I'm always seen on time and my dentist is very helpful and gentle. She gives the most painless injections! The office is extremely clean and modern looking. He was very gentle, explained the procedure and treatment plan well, and I had no trouble with pain or sensitivity after the work was completed.
