30+ years ago my wife and I (with some difficulty) moved here, it wasn't called Common@Whitemarsh it was Maple Crest, mostly white, respectful. That was then, now it's mostly blacks and Hispanics with a new mentality. The Property manager (for lack of a better term) and her staff are check collector's and that's being nice.. why not move you ask,, trust me we are looking so no I wouldn't recommend anyone to move here and you know what is even worse, they will go up on your rent when they can't seem to fix the problems that you present to them, ask Code enforcement. read more

If you can avoid it, do not move over here, yes they practically accept everybody but they are infested with roaches, I've been "on the exterminator list" for months but not one exterminator has been to my apartment. The children around here are reckless, vandalizing cars, pulling fire alarms, smoking and hooking up in the building and more. I've called maintenance, the leasing office and the emergency line 12 times because I've currently been without A/C over 48 hours and I have a toddler and an asthmatic child here. I've been living here 1year ..I've put in 4 maintenance repairs and no one ever shows up...I have even received a notice for a change of filters ..I watched my camera and no one ever came they put a letter on the door saying they did tho. I am absolutely appalled by the way this company handles maintenance and customer relations. My daughter currently rents here, her ceiling collapsed and there is mold throughout the interior of the walls. They just patched up over it and left the mold as though it doesn't exist. I've contacted multiple other tenants and they've all witnessed the same negligence as well as many other severe issues throughout the community. In the years my daughter has lived here, there was only 1 or 2 maintenence men who treated her with respect and they are no longer with the company as far as we can tell (seems they prefer a certain ethnicity here). One of the maintenance men "Dwayne" has made multiple s*xual advances to my daughter as well as many other tenants and if you live here as a woman, do not allow him into your home! The plumbers they send out are ALWAYS d*unk/h*gh on dr*gs and do half-a** work. They have a maintenance man living in his vehicle with a pitbull who defecates all over the premises and is locked in the vehicle for the entire day. The office staff is shady. From the moment I applied nothing but issues. I was promised that several safety issues like broken glass, busted frame in the sliding glass door and an open dryer vent would be fixed before I moved in, they were not and it took me months of complaining to maintenance. In the end the only thing they fixed was the dryer vent. They were too busy to do a walk through my first day so just handed me my key. My first night ended in a cold shower since no one had turned on the hot water heater. Every time I call the office for maintenance, they would do nothing unless I drove down there and had a face-to-face conversation with someone. Making complaints to the maintenance manager never helped. I had horrible ant issues at the start of my second year. I called and was told an exterminator would be out on Friday, after several calls that day I waited around all day and no one ever showed. Wasted an entire day and expected a small $80 credit (my rent increase at renewal) for 1 month as compensation. Rosalind the Property Manager couldn't be bothered to return an email unless I stopped by in person. She said corporate denied the request but couldn't tell me who denied it or give me the number of someone to contact. The entire office staff just doesn't care unless you are late on your rent, then I have heard from others they get aggressive and as someone who pays by the 1st every month I feel I should get some credit for being a good tenant. I am very happy with my townhome and the amount of space. I feel like what i received is fair for the price and it still allows me to save money. The townhome is located in a wooded, quiet setting. This apartment is quiet for the most part. However, it comes with MICE, MOLD, and ANT (infestation). The walls are DIRTY! The vents in the bathroom and kitchen are not working. If you call maintenance, they will forget about you! I've had maintenance come out about 2/6 times (yes, during a pandemic). The walk through apartment is nothing like the apartment I received. The leasing agent, didn't even observe my apartment with me before allowing us to move in. Oh and they want to raise rent, NO ! I'll be looking elsewhere. The only thing the Commons has is location. Giving them a 1 star makes me sick, my real review is negitive 5 star. We moved in April 14 and have had nothing but major issuses, no hot water, clogged kitchen sink, kitchen facet- water trickles out, both water lines under kitchen sink leaking, broken lock on sliding glass door, someone took a hack saw and cut the bottom frame on sliding glass door now when it rains water comes in, toilet that takes 3-4 flushes to clear out bowl, hand railing on stairs wobbles-super loose, bath tub that drains very slow- when you take a shower you stand in 6-8 inches of water, closets doors that fall off every time you use them, drawers in kitchen don't work-continually come off tracks, cock roaches, ants and knats, light in down stairs closet doesn't work, single switch outlet at bottom and top of stairs-needs to be 3 way, towel bar in bath room broke, paint coming off doors and walls in BIG pieces, screens on windows torn, frame on kitchen window broke, blinds on windows and slider break easliy-very cheap material. This is what Shareese who rented the town house to us said was move in ready. We moved in on a friday and when we called the emergency phone number all weekend it just rang or was busy. On Monday we spoke to Rosalind Benston the property manger and were told all are issues will be fixed and that she would get IT to fix emergency line. I asked why they were not fixed before we moved in and were giving one excuse after another, the maintenance supervisor was fired for not doing his job and they have new maintence people who are fixing all problems. Mrs Rosalind promised to have a exterminator out, she said they come out on Wednesdays and Fridays. Over six weeks later still no one has come. Do to us having so many issuses Mrs. Rosalind pushed us off to the regional maintenance supervisor Aaron Afrah were I sat in his office multiple times and he promised all my issuses would be taking care of, his exact words were- by tomorrow, that was 5 1/2 weeks ago. They had to send someone three times to fix water leak under sink. Finally after muliple attempts they replaced my toilet only for it to still be leaking and when they came back to fix it the maintence guy kepted tighten the nut until he broke the toilet flooding bathroom on second floor were the toilet water went through the floor down to first floor all over furniture,rugs ect. While I was putting my two dogs in thier cage so they didn't track through dirty water, sheet rock and paint chips he just grabbed our bath towels to soak up water. Not only do we have dirty water ect every where but now are bath towels have been used to clean his mess. I went to office to let Mrs Rosalind know what just happened. Mrs Shareese, Mrs Rosalind and Terry Scheff the new maintence supervisor followed me back and when Terry was helping to install new toilet, Mrs Rosalind and Mrs Shareese promised they would have are place professional cleaned and she would give us a landry card to wash are towels. The next day when we got home from work we noticed nothing was done so we called at 4:45 and asked what's going on. We were told the cleaning company is on there way. At 9:40 at night we get a knock saying they were here to clean. We told them it's to late to start that we are both going to bed. They said they would be back tomorrow to clean. We called and text Shareese because Mrs Rosalind said Mini and her were flying to Flordia. Mrs Shareese said she would let cleaning people in due to us being at work. Get home from work and nothing was done so we go to the office and there was a note on the door saying officed closed early. After multiple text and multiple phone calls no one got back to us. This goes on until I go in Monday morning after almost a week of toilet water all over are things. I let Aaron and Rosalind know I have contacted my own cleaning company and that they would need to get paid after there done. Aaron informs me that I would have to pay it because The Commons has a contract with a company and corporate offfice wouldn't approve another company. He lets me know he will have them out that day. When they come they said all we are going to clean is carpets and furiture because they don't have equipment to clean hardwood floors and walls. When maintence comes to fix the tub drain we noticed someone had poured paint down drain and it dried clogging drain. We have paint coming off doors and walls in sheets. We are grandparents who watch are two grandkids 4 nights a week. So not having clean furniture to sit on for over a week has been a nightmare. Along with worrying what we and are two dogs are walking in we have deep clean the place multiple times are self. I fixed the hand railing on stairs myself so grandkids didn't fall through it. Location is great, but the house is horrible. Old and broken appliances. It takes forever for the maintenance staff to come. However, everything remains being broken despite fixing. They sometimes cannot even find out the problem. You have to figure it out by yourself then telling exactly what and where to fix. After moving in for a few months, the dryer was broken, and I had to dry the clothes for 4-5 times. Yea, it increased my electricity bill. It wasn't fixed until 1 year after. A ton of staffs, including the supervisor, came, but they couldn't do anything. Luckily, my grandpa visited in the summer, and he found out the cause. Next, water leaked, and they still couldn't fix it completely after three times of fixing. Now, there is a hole on my ceiling due to the leak. A couple days ago, the shower handles were broken, and I am still waiting for them to come. Another terrible thing is mice. They are everywhere in your house. Plus, they are now under new management. An absolute mess. The facilities are fine for what you pay for, the area is ok as well. What brings the living conditions down is the beauracratic nightmare that is the management office and maintenance. In every single instance I dealt with them, the management made things worse, not better. Here are some examples: 1. Our A/C went out three times in one summer. Each time they simply pumped more fluid in, but never fixed the hole. A/C is a closed system. Essentially, instead of fixing the hole at the bottom of the bucket, they came out three times and poured more water in. The third time it was 85 degrees at night, so we went and got a motel room for $50. After emailing the management office the receipt and asking for reimbursement (since it was the THIRD time the A/C went out), they denied us the $50. 2. Leak in the ceiling. Their "fix" was to put one layer of paint over it. Leak was still there, and you could obviously still see the water mark through the paint. 3. My girlfriend was home alone during the day and the dog started to go crazy. She walked into the living room to see a man on our third floor balcony and the ladder he had climbed to get there. It turns out, he was there to paint the exterior storage door (where the broken A/C unit is located). There was no notification that door painting was happening. No emails, no letters, no signs. No advanced notification given to us at all. He's lucky he wasn't shot by another neighbor. 4. As I write this, it's June. I just received a court summons from the Commons at Whitemarsh lawyer saying that I had failed to pay february's rent. I received no notification from the Commons that I had not paid rent. I've got the receipt from paying February's rent in front of me. Even after I've moved out of the Commons at Whitemarsh, they somehow managed to bungle an old rent payment and send their lawyers after me. Now I have to see if any of this has effected my credit score. The Commons at Whitemarsh through their undeniable incompentence may have made the home I've been saving up for more difficult to attain. In finality, if you're looking for a cheap place to live, make it somewhere other than the Commons at Whitemarsh if you value your sanity and the safety of your roommates/family. You never know when there could be someone who climbed a ladder to get to your balcony. read more

This is the most miserable place I have ever lived, and that include the cheap and trashy apartment in college. Maintenance is a joke, the area is swarmed by police constantly, and yes, residents literally do dig in the trash. But worst of all is the management office. They are the most unprofessional, unorganized and rudest people I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I moved to this location January 1st of this year and have dreaded every bit of it. From the beginning there was an issue with mice. I have never had an issue with mice and wanted this resolved as soon as possible. After exhausting all I could do to get rid of these mice myself, I contacted management for help. After several months of management dragging their feet the mice issue was resolved. Currently I now have a problem with RATS. These rats run across my front porch and if they're not running their dead on my front porch. As a parent to a 10 yr old little boy I can not imagine him playing outside and coming across a dead rat. Rats are unsanitary and carry diseases/ germs. There has been three separate occasions where I have found a dead rat on my porch and on one occasion called management to remove and was told "it's not an emergency, can you just move it to the side?". Management has not been truthful with communicating me, no sense of urgency to correct the issue, no return/ follow up phone calls. To be specific I am at this moment waiting for a return call from the regional manager Tanner Brooks and office manager Rosalyn Bentsen. Today was my last day in attempting to resolve the issue, at this point complaints need to be issued on all platforms so people in the future do not have to endure matters such as this. read more

I lived at the commons at White Marsh for 13 months.. when I first moved in I had roaches.. I called maintenance a few times and everytime they sent out an exterminator.. I seriously considered breaking my lease but after while I no longer seen the roaches. ( my neighbors moved out who always had sooo much trash outside of her door which from my understanding was unexceptable) The rest of my time at the commons was okay.. I only had minor maintenance issues and they were always addressed. (The only reason I'm not giving them 1 star) The last 60 days I discovered I had mice! OMG... luckily I had put in my 60 day move out request ( as it's required to put in 60 day notice) those last 60 were the worst days of my life.. the exterminator came out and laid a couple traps.. after a couple days a mouse was caught in the trap (I lost my mind walking into my kitchen to see a dead mouse) I had maintenance come out get the dead mouse. So at this point I'm thinking maybe it was just a one time deal.. NOPE I was wrong... a few nights later I seen another mouse. At this point I'm completely grossed out and I could not stay in my apartment where I lived by myself. I went to stay at a hotel for a few nights while the exterminator came back out.. when I asked the office & the corporate office of westminister could I be reimbursed I was rejected and told to put in a claim with my renters insurance. (Mind you claims like those are NOT handled thru retners insurance) I ended up going back to my mice infested townhouse where I only had a couple weeks left before my move out date (sep 15, 2015). Upon my arrival back home I kept smelling something foul.. I thinking my mind was just playing tricks on me and I was paranoid... NOPE later i found a dead mouse in my coat closet. Praying that was the last of the mice... once again I was wrong.. I later seen another mouse. All I could do was count down the days till I moved out (imagine trying to pack and hoping your not packing any mice with you and hoping the mice don't get into your packed boxes... absolute nightmare ) Prior to moving in I read all the horrible reviews and asked the leasing office about the claims people were making about rodents. .. of course she assured me that the unit I was moving into had never had any issues.. well they do now! I kept my townhouse damn near spotless and I work 7 days a week with no I children so no one was hardly ever even home. (Bellanca Ct) Since my move out date was I'm the middle of the month.. my rent was pro rated as expected. What was not expected was the eviction letter I received saying I had not paid my September's rent in its entirety... smh that was definitely the icing on the cake! I was new to the baltimore area and the commons was close to my job and the price wasn't bad so I went for it. It served it's purpose as being a temporary location until I got accustomed to the area and was able to look around for a better quality apartment. read more

I lived in this complex for 2.5 years and would not recommend it. I didn't lived in the main section and really didn't have too many issues. I lived in a townhouse with a small patio. When I moved in, the rental manager raved about being able to have a grill and patio set on the small patio. However, after my first year, we were told we could not have anything on the patio. What was the point of having this if you can't use it? The air conditioner never worked the whole time I was there and the windows insulation was horrible. I was told they would replace windows in my building but after two years of supporting BGE and always having plastic on the windows, I got tired of waiting. My living room ceiling leaked whenever it rained hard and the neighbors used my patio as their patio, which means I always had to keep my blinds closed. The parking was really bad - I should have been able to park in front of my door for the price they charge for rent but if I came home after 7:00 p.m., there was always someone parked in front of my door. I was the only person in my house and worked and attended school which means I was hardly at home. My water bill was never less than $35/month. When I finally moved, I knew I would have to pay for some wear and tear. I was contacted by a collection agency for replacing the carpet and other wear and tear. They even tried to charge me for water bills that I had already paid. Thank goodness I paid electronically because I was able to save those records. The management office never contacted me about my final bill. I was never late on my rent and then to be treated as a deadbeat for the final bill was unacceptable. There are other things such as the constant mice inside (traps were a joke) but beware when you move out. read more

I'm only giving the commons at White Marsh one star because it is the lowest rating yelp will allow. Like one of the other individuals who viewed this apartment and found it clean and didn't have pest or insects I have found that also. I recently moved in (7/2015) and hope it stays that way. I waited over 90 days for a unit I applied in March and had three separate move-in dates because they could not get the tenant out of the unit that was designated to be rented to me. Each time they changed my date they offered me a more and more expensive apartment. Three leasing agents later (due to lots of turn over with staff) and a regional manager later I settled for an apartment that was almost $100 over my budget. They force you to move in the middle of the month so they could make extra money because you'll have to pay a half month's rent and two weeks later your full rental rate. I was unable to talk to anyone from corporate as requested. The property manger also would not address me in person. I put inquiries in on Kushner and WM management's website and received no answer. They also did not honor the prices and discounts offered in my approval letter. After living here for 5 days I had no hot water. Took them three days because maintenance never tested the water each time after coming in to fix the issue. They replaced the hot water heater and now the utility closet on the balcony does not close (that is where it was located). Leasing consultants do not care they are just here to get commission off your move. The business office for current residents is just as bad. I plan on leaving once the current lease is up. Absolutely the worst. It's obvious now that they are just interested in collecting rent from the hundreds of units without going through the trouble of maintaining them properly. Our air conditioning was broken all of last summer, with them coming twice to refill the coolant but it would just leak out yet again. After the second time despite all of my calls and letters nobody ever came to fix it. The pipes do back up easily, so much that every other time my upstairs neighbor runs her washer it floods my kitchen floor. They didn't take the time to insulate the apartment at all so if you come here be prepared to shell out upwards of $250 a month to BGE just so you don't freeze. The most disgusting thing about the management is their blatant disregard for the health and safety of tenants. I have a neighbor next to my unit who smokes cigarettes and even weed day in and day out, and the secondhand smokes seeps in to my bathroom via the non insulted pipes for the vanity sink. For months and months now I have called, written letters, and nothing was done. It's not pleasnt knowing your whole building could burn down any day cause of someone constantly not following the no smoking rules. I'm so tired of having sinusitis every single day and I am ready to get the hell out of here before my health continues to decline. read more

Management does not care that there are drug dealers on Northrop lane, even the Security Guard they had driving around would stop to by weed from them. The houses are mice infested. Do not believe it when they tell you they do not have a rodent problem. I put in for my oven to be fixed over a month ago. They have yet to do that. We were without a washer for a month, do you think we had anything taking off our rent for that? Everyone in the business office is nice and friendly, but there is one old white lady by the name of Kathleen Anderson who is the absolute worst!!!! She is extremely rude to Black people. The day I came to sign my lease she walked past me and snarled "I'm the one you're going to have to deal with when you don't pay your rent on time." I had never had any interaction with this lady before that and I was shocked that she would have the audacity to say that to someone who hadn't even moved in yet. A few months later I was on the phone with her because I paid my rent but they took a week to take it out my account and during that time something else had came out my account to where I was down about $30 for my rent. As a result she blocked my ability to pay my rent online. So I got a money order and paid my rent in full. I told her it was an accident and it was my first offense and asked if she could unblock me from paying online, to which her response was "I don't care if we took a month to take it from your account it should have been in there!" She then got into a shouting match the phone when I told her that's no way to treat a paying resident of this community. Apparently I'm not the only one I've heard countless stories of people she's been rude to over the years. Someone told me that she disrespected another resident who waited til she got off to fight her. I can't understand why #WESTMINSTERMANAGEMENT would have an employee that constantly disrespects their residents still working there. This is nothing but white privilege because if it were an African American, Latina, or even Asian woman in her place I believe they would have been fired her. If I could rate these apartments with 0 stars, I would. I called in a service request for my dryer not working on Feb. 22nd, On April 19th I came home to a maintenance card that the dryer was fixed. Well I tried drying 4 towels 5 times within 12 hrs of reaching home. I actually had to hang them to dry. I put in another maintenance request on April 21. Today is May 19th and my dryer has still not been repaired. I've discovered last week that I have mice after 2 yrs of residence here. I think I will have to break my lease, as it has just renewed. I've only lived here a month exactly and I am heavily considering breaking my lease . My neighbors make the loudest noise possible in their home ( not a full night sleep since I've moved in ) Reported multiple times they were given 60 days and became louder purposeful stomping, loud music until 2am , and fighting . Don't bother filing anonymous complaints with the police leasing will just tell the neighbors who it was and don't think they'll do anything about threats but tell you to wait until the people move . I stopped complaints for my safety literally. Not to mention if you want to transfer to a less problematic building be prepared to pay another security deposit for the inconvenience they caused you. Paid security deposit and my first month rent and they would like a extra security deposit to move into a different apartment I guess the fresh deposit I made wasn't enough. If you have anything bigger than a full sized bed expect minimal space in your room . And pray you go get a wash card on a day that the machine doesn't want to steal your money . Thin walls and floors and don't expect to hang any TVs or mirrors not allowed . If you're looking for a place to live a year or less with high rent give it a try . I am a current resident at white marsh commons on the apartment side I would not recommend anyone move here they are slumlords maintenance sucks very nasty and the leasing office once they get their commission they pay you no mind they have roaches and mice really bad they don't take care of your appliances when something goes wrong the maintenance is lazy they don't care how they talk to you my dryer takes 3 hours to dry my air don't work properly my bge bill is 243 dollars this month I have been leaving emails calls text voicemails no one returns my calls and if they do they tell me Email them all my issues and they does nothing and I just moved in April 1st it's only July 9th and the same issues I had when I moved n is the same ones I have now think before you move here they don't care about their residents and when you call for pest control they only do just your apartment not the whole building and my building has to be roach infested cause it makes no since how many I see big and small it's nasty I have a small child read more

I am currently a resident at the Commons at White Marsh. I live on 740 Lanneraton Rd. And I can truly say this has been the worst experience I've ever had to en dour renting in my life! When I first moved into the townhouses I was greeted by "Mice!!" I contacted the business office and nothing was done for weeks!!! It wasn't until I caught one and printed out a photo of the mouse until something was finally done! Now I'm dealing with the horrible way they maintain the grounds outside my home. Rats run rampant through the parking lot and by the entrance to my door!! I come out one morning to see one dead just inches away from my feet!!!! I called to have it removed and the "Rat Hole" taken care of an I'm told "It's nothing they can do, and if I can just move the Rat to the side!!!" After paying myself to get it removed, another Rat is discovered in the same location days later! I call and take pictures and still nothing is done! THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE!!!!! I'm only giving one star bc I can't give zero. I lived at the Commons at White Marsh and it was the worst experience I ever had. The management is absolutely horrible, rude and unprofessional. The maintenance staff is even more so, inappropriate and useless! I had an issue with the pipes to my bathtub leaking behind the wall, thru the floor into the living room downstairs. I called and reported and complained for months dealing with this issue while all they did was continuously "bandaid" the problem instead of fixing it properly or replacing the pipes. Even had one scenario where after once again calling about the problem the maintenance person that came to "fix" it before leaving my home insisted that i had "beautiful eyes" and he was going to call me when he got off, to which I responded not interested and if he used my personal info that way i would file lawsuit against him and the property management and reported him to the maintenance supervisor shortly after. That was the final straw for me after having dealt with the leaking for about 3 months at that point I decided to look for a new home. read more

I would not recommend anyone to live here, unless you love mice! This place is the worst. Yes the prices are cheap, but you get what you pay for. They have mice, it is disgusting! When you contact maintenance, the only come when management is contacted. In order to pay your rent with a credit card or debit there is a fee of $26.00 added to the transaction. That is very crazy! I only applied to live in this development, I never actually lived here and I feel like I dodged a huge bullet. The leasing associate that I dealt with was Beth, and although she seemed nice at first, that turned out just to be an act to get me to apply with her so she could get the credit. I loved the neighborhood, and the price was amazing, and although I had to choose between a dishwasher and washer dryer (two amenities that I desired) I was willing to choose because I liked the place so much. The application process turned out to be a nightmare as I could never get in contact with her once I applied. I'd call and she'd say she'd call me back by a certain time yet never would. It took a week and a half to call me about specific information on my application, she said once those things were cleared up id be approved immediately. I took care of it that day, yet I have still yet to hear from her...that was 3 weeks ago. I have since applied and have been approved at a different development. A slightly larger apartment, with both a washer dryer AND a dishwasher costs $200 more than what I would've been paying at true Commons, but with that extra $200 I take into account the excellent service that I have received from the office staff at this other development. When I began my apartment search in the White Marsh area I quickly found that they can get pretty expensive. I spent hours searching the web and viewed countless apartments that were GORGEOUS but out of my price range. It wasn't until I completely gave up hope when I came across the Commons at White Marsh. On their website the pictures of the apartment and pool looked great and it was lower than my target price so I immediately scheduled a viewing. For some reason I felt the need to googled reviews for this complex and saw that it had nothing but horrible reviews. I then called to cancel my appointment and renewed my lease at my apartment. After another year at my horrible apartment I began my search all over again and found that commons was really perfect for me so I decided to go see the place anyway. I was actually shocked when I saw it and believe it or not I immediately fell in love with it. For some reason I was expecting roaches and mice to be playing hop-scotch in the parking lot with trash everywhere but it was actually really nice. They took me to view the apartment and I was really impressed. The master bedroom is huge (I can fit my king size in there) and everything was new and clean. Don't get me wrong they didn't blow my mind away with granite countertops and crystal chandeliers but this place was really nice. Again I was hesitant to put in my application because of the reviews and even thought that maybe they decked out the model apartments to rope me in just so they could give me a sh*tty apartment. But I decided to apply anyway and I'm glad I did. Move in day wasn't the best because they forgot to clean the carpet but that was immediately fixed. My A/C works just fine and there are no mice, roaches, centipedes or any bugs really. Honestly it's only been a few months but this place isn't really that bad. I mean you get what you pay for, don't expect the Ritz when your paying for a Motel. If you want a quiet, clean and safe place to live for around $1000 I would recommend this place. Truly the only negative thing I have to say about this place is that the wash machine load machine is only available in the business office and they close at 6:00 p.m. so if you need to put money on your wash machine card after 6 your out of luck. Also you can't pay the rent with a credit card, it has to be a money order or check. That's sucks sometimes. read more

The price is not worth it. I lived here less than a year and got out of my lease because of the many meanteance and safety problems. when you call for emergency they never call you back. The staff is not friendly. The place is not safe, the parking lot needs to be fixed. If you are on the first floor, be careful the of the pipes they WILL back up and you will have water all over your kitchen floor and they do not care about fixing it. The bathroom was the worst, i cleaned it every day because of gross yellow nicotine coming down the walls from past residents who smoked. I never smoked i can't and the apartment did not care that it made me sick. Do not live here read more

I would not recommend them to anyone. Before we moved into the apartment Shannon kept hassling me to bring in the security deposit even thought the apartment wasn't ready to be viewed. After moving in and paying first month's rent there was a late slip on the door saying that we owed $44 more dollars, because Shannon forgot to total something in and they blamed us for it. When we first moved in there was black markings on the wall we told them it was mold they said that it was mildew and it can come off. Then the mold started growing on the walls and we had to continue to put in tickets because it kept growing back. Then it started growing on my personal property and I informed them and they said that the insurance would cover it But the insurance company did not cover because it was not caused by a pipe busting and the water getting directly on my belongings. After talking to one of the contractors that were working on the wall I was told that the mold was was coming from the wall outside of the building. I then put in a request to move into a different apartment and they wanted me to pay another security deposit as well as a fee for transferring apartments. Then I spoke with the property manager and she said that she would waive the fee but never got back to me about it. They are refusing to reimburse me for my personal property. When we first moved in we did not have any mice but 6 months after staying there there was a rodent present and we contacted the rental office and they acted as if it was no big deal. Eventually the mouse was caught and disposed of. The bedrooms and bathroom door were not new they didn't lock and barely stayed closed. Water came up through our kitchen sink when the neighbors were washing clothes. Please think twice before you decide to lease out an apartment at The Commons at White Marsh. I also tried to contact Westminster Management but did not reach anyone. read more
