I seriously considered breaking my lease but after while I no longer seen the roaches. ( my neighbors moved out who always had sooo much trash outside of her door which from my understanding was unexceptable) The rest of my time at the commons was okay.. I only had minor maintenance issues and they were always addressed. (The only reason I'm not giving them 1 star) The last 60 days I discovered I had mice! OMG... luckily I had put in my 60 day move out request ( as it's required to put in 60 day notice) those last 60 were the worst days of my life.. the exterminator came out and laid a couple traps.. after a couple days a mouse was caught in the trap (I lost my mind walking into my kitchen to see a dead mouse) I had maintenance come out get the dead mouse. So at this point I'm thinking maybe it was just a one time deal.. NOPE I was wrong... a few nights later I seen another mouse. At this point I'm completely grossed out and I could not stay in my apartment where I lived by myself. I went to stay at a hotel for a few nights while the exterminator came back out.. when I asked the office & the corporate office of westminister could I be reimbursed I was rejected and told to put in a claim with my renters insurance. (Mind you claims like those are NOT handled thru retners insurance) I ended up going back to my mice infested townhouse where I only had a couple weeks left before my move out date (sep 15, 2015). Upon my arrival back home I kept smelling something foul.. I thinking my mind was just playing tricks on me and I was paranoid... NOPE later i found a dead mouse in my coat closet. Praying that was the last of the mice... once again I was wrong.. I later seen another mouse. All I could do was count down the days till I moved out (imagine trying to pack and hoping your not packing any mice with you and hoping the mice don't get into your packed boxes... absolute nightmare ) Prior to moving in I read all the horrible reviews and asked the leasing office about the claims people were making about rodents. .. of course she assured me that the unit I was moving into had never had any issues.. well they do now! I kept my townhouse damn near spotless and I work 7 days a week with no I children so no one was hardly ever even home. (Bellanca Ct) Since my move out date was I'm the middle of the month.. my rent was pro rated as expected. What was not expected was the eviction letter I received saying I had not paid my September's rent in its entirety... smh that was definitely the icing on the cake! I was new to the baltimore area and the commons was close to my job and the price wasn't bad so I went for it. It served it's purpose as being a temporary location until I got accustomed to the area and was able to look around for a better quality apartment.

The Property manager (for lack of a better term) and her staff are check collector's and that's being nice.. why not move you ask,, trust me we are looking so no I wouldn't recommend anyone to move here and you know what is even worse, they will go up on your rent when they can't seem to fix the problems that you present to them, ask Code enforcement.

Management was extremely kind to me and very helpful (shoutout to Christina) and maintenance often responded within the same day! I never felt belittled or like I was a burden. I'm sorry to go but I can't commute all the way to the west coast!

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with The Arbors and the way they handle tenant…read moreconcerns and charges After moving out 07/2024 I was unjustly charged for repainting walls painted egg shell white and told a cost that should be covered as part of routine maintenance between tenants This is on top of numerous issues faced during my tenancy including the theft of my car from the supposedly secure garage The building management has repeatedly failed to live up to their promises including misleading claims about onsite security Car are stolen at a rate of one per month but the building fails to alert tenants out of fear of their reaction to hearing that the garage is not safe and to be more careful My car was stolen and I was out of town and a note placed on my door no call or email however if a food truck is coming by they will be sure to alert you I did not find out until I return a week later and the fact I did not have time to put in a report ended losing the car with no chance of returning My overall experience has been stressful and frustrating with little regard for tenant satisfaction or fair treatment I would strongly advise potential tenants to reconsider choosing The Arbors The management lack of transparency and fairness has left a lasting negative impression and I regret my decision to live here Thank you! Office and maintenance staff is incredibly personable and attentive. Any issues are resolved quickly and ledgers are accurate. I've heard from other residents about what a great place this is to live and how happy they are with the changes. Set back a little bit from any hustle and bustle, it's near enough that I can get where I need to go without issue, but peaceful back just past Bowley's Quarters Rd. Just a moment's drive from Wal Mart in case I need things, and 5 minutes from 95. Carroll Park really makes me happy.
