Unfortunately, both left much to be desired. The sandwich was lacking in filling and real bacon. It's was like bacon bits, but it was mostly consisting of bread so much so that I regretted not taking a picture of it opened up. The coffee, which I had hoped would be good given that it's made from freshly ground beans, also fell flat. The service didn't help the situation either. I stood in front of a staff member for a good five minutes before someone else had to step in and prompt her to assist me. She was quite dismissive. On a positive note, the interior of the coffee shop is quite charming with ample seating, which is the only highlight of my visit. Perhaps I'll give Camela Coffee another chance in the future when there are different staff members on duty and I can try something else, but this visit was not a good one in terms of service or food.

It was early around 9am that I came by and it had steady customer flow and even more so after. The ambiance was interesting as it is a shipping/postal service with the coffee bar in the back. Met the owner and he was really nice and explained the history of the location and the interesting decor and more that is displayed in the store. What was most interesting was the wall of fame where you are able to see really interesting things that customers have shipped which was pretty cool! The coffee was good overall, the only wish I would have to make this better is to actually have a menu similar to what is showcased online on their site for visibility. The syrup flavors are shown on their board but the names of the specialty coffee isn't such as the lucky charms and the French toast. So be sure to check online to see their speciality coffee!

It's a one stop shop for your quick errands and you get to have some amazing local coffee while you are at it!

This is a fairly new location in a fairly new plaza off Southern Blvd. The food is just as good as any other location we've been to and the restaurant was clean, service was friendly and quick. You grab a menu as soon as you walk in and make your decision before getting to the counter. They do bring the food out to you but there's no table service. Ketchup, hot sauce, napkins, fountain drinks and etc are self service, and there's a dedicated place for your dirty dishes. Excellent biscuits and gravy and can't go wrong with their fried tomatoes.

They give you a number to place on your table. You help yourself to drinks. I'd ordered a decaf iced coffee and was happy to find a carafe of decaffeinated coffee on the counter. I was able to add ice and half and half and "doctor" it to taste. For my meal, I had one of the "biscuit plates" -- three chicken tenders with a biscuit and house made kettle chips. It came with a choice of dipping sauces. I chose maple mustard. The three tenders were lightly breaded and slightly spicy. They were quite good. The chips were served warm and addictive. But the star of the plate was the light and fluffy and buttery biscuit!! OMG! My husband had a "signature" biscuit called the squawking goat. It had melted goat cheese on top on the chicken in a biscuit sandwich over pepper jelly. He said it was fantastic. Suffice it to say, we will be back -- even if only for the biscuits.

Although there was a line, it moved quickly. We decided to share a Cuban sandwich plus we each got a pastry for dessert. You order and pay at the register and pick up your order when they call your name at the other end of the counter. They have so many varieties of pastries, desserts, and cakes on display that's it is hard to choose. The Cuban sandwich was excellent. Slightly warm on pressed fresh Cuban bread. And the pork, ham, and cheese inside were very good as well. In fact, it was one of the better Cuban sandwiches we've had in quite awhile. For dessert, my husband got a guava and cheese pastelito. It's in the shape of a turnover. Not too sweet because the cheese tempers the sweetness of the guava. It is one of his favorites. I tried a chocolate Napoleon with merengue. The top layer had the chocolate glaze and there were thick meringue layers between each pastry layer. It was a bit gloppy and not the easiest to eat. Very sweet but good. I brought half home. Yes, they are a quite popular chain. But they have a pretty good and efficient system working at this location. And lots of staff proficient in both English and Spanish. I know we will be back.

They commented that their food wasn't very good and that I wasn't really missing anything. Almost 15 minutes goes by (I had ordered a simple tuna salad sandwich) and I checked on my order. They didn't even remember me placing an order! Argued with me about the fact that I placed an order until I brought up my credit card receipt to show them. They then had to ask me what I ordered and I thought they had started making my lunch. One would think they would do it on the fly, but no. Another 15 maybe 20 minutes goes by and my friends were done eating, we had had our meeting and I went and asked yet again about my food. at this point I told them I didn't want it anymore and they JUST so happened to whip it up at that exact moment and hand it to me. When I tried to address the owner, she turned her back on me and started scoring her sourdough and when I called to her, she whipped her head around and snapped at me. I was too tired to argue or anything at this point. I felt like a burden and an inconvenience to her and it was ME that was interrupting her busy day... of doing what exactly? Not taking care of customers, that's for certain. Zero stars, do not recommend.
