He arrived on time to the non-emergency appointment scheduled a couple of days after my initial request. Sean was very knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and took the time to answer all of my questions and to inspect bugs that I had never seen before. To my absolute horror, he confirmed that my house indeed had termites and that my c.1890 fieldstone foundation was allowing mouse entry. For a small business, the prices are actually a little more cost effective than larger extermination services. The termite treatment lasts 10 years and is transferable. Pets and my disability were taken into consideration during the initial, specialized treatments for termites, spiders, and mice. Because the house could not be "bug bombed" and certain areas couldn't be treated, he returns every 3 months for monitoring. He notifies me a few days beforehand to let me know when he'll arrive and always takes the time to answer any questions. If you're ever in need of an exterminator, Swat Pest and Wildlife is definitely the one to call!

I initially reached out to a few other companies, but they wanted to have an estimator come first and then they would send out a different technician to come to take care of the work. This was going to be a 3-4 weeks process so I decided to go with Mike who I had worked with before (Note. not knowing what the potential costs would be). I am so thankful that it didn't work out with the other companies and I chose Mike to come help again. We worked out a good time for him to come over and he helped determine what my issue is and even mentioned that I could take care of the issue myself instead of him doing the work and charging me for it. The technicians have been helpful and very knowledgeable but we ran into an issue yesterday when a…read moregel bait was used indoors and not included on the report afterward. We have a 4 month old puppy who is into everything and started licking/chewing the baseboards near where ants were prevalent indoors. When I called, Stephanie was less than professional and seemed annoyed that I had concerns. No matter what I said, she dismissed me, argued at every turn, and didn't apologize until I told her how frustrating the conversation had been as a concerned parent. Even then, her apology was "I'm sorry ma'am. I do understand but like I said...." She just kept reiterating "Ma'am (condescendingly) baseboard treatment is standard with all of our visits." Mind you, we've never had baseboards treated before this visit. Treatment has always been on the exterior and they've only ever iterated that kids and pets be kept indoors. Stephanie said the stuff he was putting down inside was the same as what he put outside (bifen) when I called back this morning because my puppy was vomiting and refusing food. After speaking with Jose and describing to him (as I tried to do with Stephanie) what I saw the technician use, he said it wasn't bifen but was likely gel bait (not at all what is used outside.) I was going back and forth with the vet and DeBug all morning trying to figure out how emergent the situation was and when I finally was able to speak with Jose, he helped calm my fears and let me know what the product actually was and how the call should have been handled. I do appreciate his professionalism and approach to feedback from a customer. As I told Stephanie, I was trying to work toward a solution and share my frustration as a mom of young children and dogs. I am unsure if we will be continuing service because, although Jose handled things well, Stephanie is the main point of contact it seems and needs more training or a spa day before she interacts with worried customers again. The screenshot I've included is an example of how the phone conversation went as well. Weird (inaccurate) responses and entirely missing the point of what I was asking. For what it's worth, our puppy is alive and well, eating again and no longer vomiting, so that's a relief.

Started getting the same tech explain some problem issues which was blamed from everything on bad paint to I don't know. Again your time maintenance plan. They missed a lot of stuff such as the whole leading directly to my cellar. An area where paint was peeling I took off the electric plug cover. Was filled with old nesting material. I really should be demanding a refund. I paid before they got down the street. All I ever got was a piece of copper mesh I asked for a couple traps was never given anything. No exclusion. Last tech was very nice but at that point the bait boxes were never changed. Finally found another . No visible droppings in my home. Due to neighbors with animals I have to hire a full-time exterminator. On interviewing new ones the exterminator found the droppings in the bait boxes which I've moved away from my home. That is a lot of money spent for nothing? I did get a deodorizer bag for any type of smell for a closet and a piece of copper mesh and that's it. It was pretty pitiful.
