The manager at THE POINTE AT LOCKWOOD, BOTHELL, Theo Aguilar is abusive and refuses to help residents. He screams and yells for owners to go away. He has constantly threatened me with eviction. He is especially verbally abusive to women. He has gotten in the way of complaints by being aggressive and telling owners to do things themselves. There are owners who will not engage him for any reason because he is so verbally aggressive and starts yelling never listening. His boss also refuses to answer texts, calls, or emails. This company takes advantage of seniors. I moved in in October with a dirt rent of $944. The following April first the rent was raised to $1,605-a 59% increase. After one abusive occasion, I tried to get a no contact order and Theo and his boss interfered with my witnesses telling them they could not appear for me or write an affidavit for the court. This is witness tampering. They, Theo and his boss Gian lie all the time. It is unfortunate that they don't have any people skills. I was a property manager for Ewing and Clark in Magnolia, Seattle and if I was sent Theo as an employee, I would have fired him on the first day! In addition, the high space rent has caused our property values to drop by 50%. read more

Center Street Mobile Home Park managed by Commonwealth Real Estate Services, has raw sewage above ground, this is a constant problem, RVs with 4 Inch discharge trying to dump into unapproved (by building code) 3 inch sewer access hole, meant for mobile homes, misfit causing discharge hose to dislodge and sewer then spews onto ground. This practice is stressing the mobile home sewer lines combined with not maintenance of sewer lines, no broken and sewage backing up into homes. Smells awful, stray dogs roll in it and go back to wherever they go, rats feast on it. Should be considered a bio hazard, unsanitary, vulnerable population, as it is a 55 over park. But keep being told that because it is private property, nothing can be done. Why does Oregon require a business license if when used for private property business, landlord has no responsibility, to the hazards Refusal to maintain sewage infrastructure, along with building code violations are to save and make money respectively. Directed to no longer flush toilet paper and place in doggie poop bags, place in already not maintained dumpsters, summer is going to smell awful also directed to flush our home pipes 200% with water we have to pay for with sub meters, that they profit from, yes we have the documentation. read more

Management is negligent, unavailable, and disingenuous. Sales fall through because of last minute changes from management. The new mail keys were hoarded in the managers office instead of distributed in a timely manner. We could pick them up, but the office is only open two days a week. During the posted business hours, the manager was frequently not there. To top it off, they never answer the phone and the voicemail box has been full for a month... Driveways are in disrepair and frequently flood. Management is selective about enforcing park rules and does so in an arbitrary fashion. read more

HiCommonwealth property management is in atrocity to Oregon State! I recently lived on one of their properties and ended up suing them in small claims court and one. The judge made his decision in less than 48 hours. This was in June of 2023 I have yet to see a penny from them! Probably one of the most if not the most greediest property management company in the state of Oregon. All they do is wreak havoc on tenants in mobile home parks RV parks and elsewhere they need to be shut down! It's obvious, if you look they only have a two-star rating. I live in one of their 55+ manufactured home communities. While my husband was living everything was wonderful. Since he passed away in MAy I have been treated like a pariah here. People are picking on me, my puppy. The other night someone was throwing something at my screen door to get Axel to bark. It wasn't my imagination. When I left the regular door open so I could see thru the screen door the annoyance stopped. I'm moving in the spring. I wish it could be sooner. read more

The Mobile Home Park I live in is managed by Commonwealth based in Portland Oregon. I have lived here 14+ years and have seen this place go from being a happy place to live to a very unhappy place to reside, at least for the people who have lived here prior and post Commonwealth. This park has no amenities, no pool, no club house and extremely small area they are responsible to maintain and barely do only part of that as it is. They demand that the residents keep up their properties and also parts of what Commonwealth is responsabe for and not the home owners. The regional manager and the off site manager tell an enormous amount of untruth and the ethics I was raised with an still practice are not ok with that at all. They just raised our rent $55 a month and we get pretty much nothing in return. It's all about money and nothing else. The owner of this park and other Commonwealth managed parks will never change from this management company because they like the "free" money just as much. Extremity un professional company and they seem to forget we are Seniors who are not dumb, deaf, or blind and they don't know more or are superior to us. They could care less if you move from this park because they have a chance of buying the home and fix, "cover up" any issues and then sell it at a high price which is not what the place is actually worth after the cover ups. They don't disclose any of these issues to potential buyers which I beleive is against the law for a seller not to do no matter who it is, agent or individual. I have see this with my own eyes! If they think no one knows or sees about the shady things they do in this park, they are mistaken. They throw the park rule book at us and they don't fallow it at all. This is a senior park and they could care less if you are on a fixed income or not they. Everything here is our problem even if it is not, we are just a unit# who is less than they. It is very drepressing to live here now when prior to this company a fun an neatly cared for park. They by no means know what lead by example means. They just dictate what residents have to do while they don't do it theirself. They for sure don't "own" me or my life and they never will. We have had four different management companies Commonwealth is the worst, business I have ever seen in my 70ys on this earth. I never like to do such a negative review like this but my ethics take priority in a situation like this. I know there has to be park rules but they make them up out of thin air and think us seniors are too dumb to know the unethical practices they do in this park. After considering purchasing a mobile home owned by Commonwealth in one of their parks, the manager didn't get back to me for several days. Meanwhile I found another home in the same park that was more of what I was looking for, so I put an offer on it instead. When the manager finally called me back, I told him that I decided to go in another direction. After that, it was one thing after another. When I had originally talked to him about qualifying for the park, there didn't seem to be any problem based on their criteria. After I decided not to buy their home, he mentioned twice to me, and once to the realtor, that it might be "difficult" to get park approval. I didn't think anything about it, having read the criteria, and the realtor said she had never heard of someone not qualifying for a park--especially when they were cash buyers with plenty of money. Well, after he called the seller and the realtor (very unprofessional to call them first), he called and told me I didn't qualify. But I was welcome to appeal. I called daily for a week to talk to someone at the office in Beaverton to get information about the appeal process . I never got a call back. When the realtor called, they picked right up and gave her the direct number of the person to talk to. But whenever I called it always went to voicemail and no one ever bothered to call me back, even though I left a message EVERY time. Then a week later when I got the letter in writing, the FICO score they showed was nearly 50 points lower than what TransUnion told me it was (and supposedly that's who they went through). And now, 6 weeks later, I purchased another home in a (supposedly more difficult to get approval) park with no issues whatsoever. Shame on Commonwealth for playing games like that. I wouldn't be surprised if they turned around and offered to buy that home from the seller who was all of a sudden stuck with no buyer, so they could turn around and sell it themselves for more money. If I could do a 10th of a star I would they recently bought my mom's senior park . It was a affordable place that was nice place with a pool sauna large club house and a beautiful pond with fish and lots of wildlife. Since they took over they have started to raise the space rent so new buyers can't afford it they have closed everything down . Residents can not get ahold of anyone the manager is worthless. They only care about money and NOT THE RESIDENTS. read more

HORRIBLE Customer "Service". HORRIBLE bookkeeping. They lost a payment and I had to go to the bank and, at MY expense, dig up every, single payment from day 1. The funny part? I have been paying an ADDITIONAL month in advance since the 4th month I lived here. Now, almost 5 years later, they have "lost" my payment. NUMEROUS calls. "YOU will need to find the lost payment" is what I get from them. After I gave them a spreadsheet that PROVED I was correct, and that THEY had lost my payment..."Oh, okay...yeah, we found the error and we'll issue you a credit." No apology...nothing! Funny how they could only find it when I did all the legwork. 2 months later, want to guess what happened? Come on, guess! Same "stuff", different day. The hysterical bit of this is that after showing me that they are incompetent, unrepentant and unreliable, they send me a postcard asking me to use them when I sell my house. Tried to purchase a trailer in one of their parks to house my disabled brother; despite demonstrating three quarters of a million dollars in assets to show that I could cover the $500/month pad rental, they declined our pad rental application because he has no income. I will be filing an ADA housing discrimination complaint with the Federal Housing office. read more

In the recent past I have been extremely concerned about some issues in our manufactured home community, as well as a letter I received from CWRES. I left some email and phone messages as I had before, and when I received no reply I assumed things were the 'same old, same old' of service we at the park have come to expect. Then, I received a courteous and open phone call from Brittany S. She was respectful, available for explanations and query while admitting to her limitations of information, and I received my personal information directly. THIS is what professionalism looks like.
