I'd leave a negative if I could, rented a house from them in Willamina oregon after needing a place to live with my girlfriend. The workmanship in the house was shotty at best, doors weren't hung properly, the floors were installed poorly. The stove didn't have power for the first two weeks we lived there and constantly had electricity issues. The handymen they sent out were meth heads at best. Lived there for 3 months and found a nicer place to live in Sheridan and we're on a month to month lease so we moved, the laundry room area had black mold growing up the wall that was obviously there before we moved in and just painted over. When we originally had the electrical issues they had told us they would discount our rent due to the inconvenience, now that the deposit is being mentioned they are sending us a bill for the rent that they "discounted". Don't rent from these people. After reading other reviews about the company after the fact I wonder how a place like this stays in business. read more

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. My friend and I were searching for a house, and had a time restraint on locating one before my friend would be forced to move back to his parents in another state. We both have fairly stable contract jobs, and have a history of expensive rentals, with no evictions. We applied to rent one of their properties in southeast Portland, and after a day, were told that there wasn't anything wrong with our applications, and we could get the keys the following day. On the following day, we recieved no word, (they had said they would call "in the morning") so we called at around 1pm, only to be informed that because of our sources of income (protected category from discrimination in Oregon), they wanted not only one of our parents to cosign, but an additional $2000 deposit. (the original terms were for one month plus one $1200 deposit) When I informed them that this was legally discrimination in the state of Oregon, they said "Oh, we meant an additional $800 deposit" Which we agreed to. They said they would contact us today, which they have not done. Because they have misled us, and discriminated against us, we are now both locked in to move-out dates, without a realistic expectation of having a new place. I will be filing a lawsuit against Resources Northwest next week, and have already reported them to the state for discrimination. read more

Basiclly, do not rent from these people. We got a Court Judgement against them and ruling in our favor to return our $1000 deposit from these people. Tracking them down is another story. We'll save you the long story and give you the short, they said they had rentals that we'd like and in order to hold them they would need a fully refundable deposit if we didn't like anything, we gave it to them (our bad) and they lied and kept our money. I have to add this to the reviews I've read, The Maintance man who recieves all the requests for repairs, rented his own son, his girlfriend and her 2 sons a mobile home that he is hired to maintain. They had mushrooms growing around the the base of the toilet when he sent a repair request in he was told to dump bleach on them.. the ceiling in the kitchen fell in from a leak in the roof..The person sent out to fix it put the black moldy insulation back in the ceiling and did a half ass fix which fell in again. They put carpet in OVER the holes in the floor where the heater vents out so they had no heat until the people renting the unit cut the carpet them selves. The back door had a big hole, the deck in back was falling down and unsafe, and after they opened up the heat vents up cutting the carpet and the heat actually came on, it blew out sawdust and dirt! The employees swept the floors into the vent! Really?? If these people treat their own family like this when renting a place, how will they treat a person they don't know. Yes, his son got out, but they rented it again right away and no repairs were made. They get folks that have issues in to these hell holes, then get them Grant's from the county to help pay their rent and then they are stick! Never rent anything sight unseen, and be sure to have all repairs completed before you move in! read more

These people are HORRIBLE. Apparently the apartments I am currently living on are going through foreclosure because these scumbags (John) decided to pocket every penny since November 2012. They haven't even bothered to pay the bank note. So now, every single person in this crappy apartment complex is going to have no choice but to find a new place to move. On top of that, they are cheap. I wish somebody would have warned me before I moved in or I would have avoided this place. These apartments are disgusting. No matter how much you clean there are roaches. Why? Because they decided to fumigate the apartments up above but NOT the ones below. Smart people huh? Then there is the mold. Their solution? They PAINTED OVER IT. You do not paint over the mold. That does NOT fix the problem. The ceiling in the bathroom...leaks. The dishwasher...broken. This place should be condemned. I live in a Manufactured Home Park in Tualatin Oregon that they Own.They have screwed all the Residents here for over 14 years,with Bad Water Pressure,Terrible Park Conditions,Drug Activities,Drug Busts,the list goes on.The owner greases a lot of palms to get his way....He's been to Court over 40 times in the last 20 years,DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE....! read more

Cheap rent..Cheap company....YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! You have to live in fear that the place your renting from them is going into foreclosure. You can't get ahold of anyone EVER! As a former tenant I would not recomend them read more

Warning Stay way this place scams people. I've trying to get my security deposit returned for 2 1/2 months. the only contact is "John" and is now threating me when I contact him about why resources northwest is not returning my security deposit. I can't believe I'm going to have to sue them over a security deposit. I thought I was getting a cheap place to stay out of town for work. I was only renting for 3 months. It's not worth it look for any other company to rent from! read more
