I thought they did a great job. The equipment that they installed was top quality and the plumbers who did the work were courteous, respectful of my home and knowledgeable. This year, I had a plumbing inspection by a third party who informed me that due to code, I needed an expansion tank for the heater. I called Mr. Rooter to inquire and they sent the original plumber to inspect. They agreed to install the tank at no cost to me other than for the tank and pipe, which I did not purchase the first time. Very fair indeed and they were extremely courteous during the discussion we had. I would recommend Mr. Rooter of Richmond.

The gentleman even pulled it out and plugged it into an outside receptacle and it was working fine. He said it was the septic box on the house that had gone bad. If I had not gotten a second opinion I would have paid $950 for an aerator I didn't need plus they charged me $220 for the service call!

Both of the guys represented the company well. 2) When the guy opened the tank, he discovered an issue, as he thought the pump was not functioning. He proceeded to pump the tank. The cost was $575, which was a reasonable cost based on research. 3) The other guy replaced the pump, which cost $1,600. Based on research, this was an exorbitant price based on the retail cost of the pump. Based on all of the factors, would consider them again for pumping the tank, but absolutely not for other work.

Found another local plumber and am now recommending to my neighbors that they also ditch Glen Allen Plumbing.
