It is huge and accommodates many activities and games within its parameters without bothering anyone. There are nice areas for the toddlers, pre-teen and exciting slides and games for the older kids and adults. The table area outside of the restaurant is very nice for a family or a couple to sit and eat or just have good ole conversation. It can also be a great place to take a reprieve from the sun. As a whole I have found most people to be very friendly and helpful. In matter of fact, I am disabled and have problems walking a distance with my cane.....sometimes parking can be really far away and I have found myself in past years just turning around and leaving. But......this year the owner saw me hobbling down the hill and stopped in his golf cart and told me to call anytime for him or someone to come and pick me up if I find myself in that situation again. I am sure that in the future I will take him up on his helpful offer so I can enjoy the fun within the gates of Pine Cove Swim Club. There are great pavilions to use for parties and get togethers and Pine Cove also offers extra activities on certain days for adults and children. I only have one negative thing to say about the grassy area where you place your blanket or chair - most of the area is on a steeper slope and finding a comfortable way to sit on your towel without toppling down the hill is a challenge. This also makes it hard to sit in a chair without sliding down, Minor excavation could help that. To solve this I try to get there early to get a lounge on the flat cement area by the pool, but these are few and hard to get. Another plus is being able to take your chair or inner tube and keeping it on the fence at the pool so you do not have to carry it back and forth all season. We visited mid week so it was very quiet which was fine. Our second time adventuring to a place that was clothing optional. Now the pool was great! Super clean. Mandatory no clothes in the pool. The cameras were bit bothersome. I was completely unaware but I'll own that I'm oblivious in new environments so if someone spoke of them I don't recall but anyways we enjoyed the pool! Later on having some fun in the room and I'm laying on the bed which is right next to the door I mean right next to it! In all my glory on the bed I can hear people like whispering. Laughing. No big deal. Well when my door flung open and I have 3 people staring at me I was mortified. The whispering was them discussing the code which they had the code I had been given not sure if it was a universal one or not. The key pass were being issues so they only did codes no key! Anyways two woman and a man came walking in. They left very very quickly! We barricaded the door so we could sleep and high tailed it out in the morning. Aside from that mishap which is pretty unnerving to me. More precautions and safe measures should be in place! So that's why I went with the 3 stars! I said that later we would do the membership properly. They rudely demanded $50 just for entry. I explained that it was dark and cold outside and asked them to please let her walk a little just for today, but they were arrogant and rude right to my face. I would have understood if this had been explained respectfully and politely, but instead they behaved very rudely. This is a place that has been taking money out of my pocket for a year for nothing. That is why I canceled. I hope you understand that they do not care about your physical or mental health -- they only care about money.
