My son who had just started tried a few classes on and off and he found his thing as a hip hop dancer. Both kids love center stage and their teachers too! My daughter has been a student at SOR for the past 2 years give or take. She has been able to try…read moreout different instruments, finally finding the keyboards. The instructors are so good with kids and can teach using their own interests. Once of the first things my daughter learned to play was the theme from the Super Mario Brothers game. She's now learning the Blues. Teddy is awesome - and patient; and my daughter is very comfortable with him. I recommend SOR to anyone who asks. On another note, the house band came to play at a fundraiser we are very involved in. The talent of these kids was a shock to so many who watched them walk in and didn't know what to expect. The band played for an hour and we must have had 15 people comment to us on how much they sounded like Jimmy Page, Nancy Wilson and so many of the others they covered. They were amazing. 2 of them are national SOR all stars too, so we actually had celebrities on stage! The drummer did a solo that was reminiscent of Mickey Hart or Bill Kreutzmann, only not 45 minutes long and the bass and electric guitars were just as amazing. These kids can rock.

Still wasn't sure what to expect but was super excited to attend. Surprisingly there was sufficient parking. Therefore, we walked only a few steps to the main entrance. My ticket was quickly scanned and away we went to enter. Keep in mind this is not your typical Ringley Brothers Circus or Cirque Du Soleil. It's truly a unique "Paranormal Cirque". Each actor brought such perfection to the show. Loved how they involved the audience in some scenes. I can see why it is recommended for an adult audience or children 13-17 years of age to be accompanied with an adult. They have Johnny bathrooms that are rather clean. They actually had someone near them maintaining them and offered hand sanitizer when done. Before entering the arena they had stands to buy snacks and spooking items such as masks. The decor inside and out was great! Totally spooky and Halloweenish. The story line was also awesome! Won't spoil it but it was truly unexpected. Great job Paranormal Cirque!! The children are captivated by her enthusiasm and enthralled with her story telling. Songs, lines and dances are learned by listening and doing. Every child is included and every child has a wonderful time. The stories all have a message of kindness, caring and fairness. What more could you ask for? There is no words to describe the pride and positive self esteem she instills in the children she teaches. The children are excited to come and sad when the week is over. The wam-up was fun, and the lecture about renounces were new to me. I learned with curiosity. Actual voice recording part was exciting! I did not know how much I could do with my voice. Dennis's feedback expanded possibility. The people in class were warm. I was fortunate to be a part of the group. I would like to look into another classes.

There are a lot of inventions to see, but it is best to wait for a tour to start. Tours are broken up into two parts; the front room details the life of Thomas Edison and the back room is all about his inventions. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable so I recommend waiting for a tour. The museum only has two parking spots but you can easily park on the side streets nearby. Also, there is a short nature trail nearby so can get more out of a trip to the area.
