After placing our order, we waited roughly twenty minutes for our bagels while watching two parties who arrived after us receive their food first. Delays can happen, especially during busy breakfast hours, but what stood out most was the absence of any clear process. Staff members appeared to be jumping between tasks at random, reacting to whatever came up rather than following an organized system. Compounding the issue was a noticeable lack of leadership on the floor--no one directing traffic, prioritizing orders, or keeping the operation moving efficiently. The result was a chaotic service environment where customers were left waiting and wondering what was happening with their order. As for the food, the bagels themselves were perfectly adequate but ultimately unremarkable. In a market where great bagel shops thrive on both quality and efficiency, "fine" simply isn't enough to outweigh a frustrating service experience. With stronger operational structure and visible leadership during peak hours, this shop could likely improve the customer experience significantly. For now, however, the combination of disorganization and underwhelming food makes it difficult to justify a return visit.

The line was long, but it went pretty fast, and the ladies behind the counter were very professional and doing an excellent job. The menu was pretty small for breakfast, but I decided to go with the bacon sunrise, which is scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese on a plain bagel, but chose to have it on a Jalapeno cheddar bagel. The woman was very nice and helped me pick out a tea bag for my hot tea as well. The bacon sunrise was delicious and tasted immaculate. The jalapeno cheddar bagel made a huge difference because it had a wonderful combination of flavors to it. For a bagel place at the airport, The Great American Bagel was a good way to start the day for breakfast before my flight home to Indy. The menu is limited, but it is very good and worthwhile. The service is also very good. The ambiance is nothing special or exciting, because it is at the airport, but it is satisfactory for a bagel place. I'm sure if I am back in Little Rock AR, I will stop here again for breakfast. It is worth the price.

One of our friends (and a Little Rock native) recommended Boulevard Bread Company, and we're so grateful that we stopped to check this cute spot out! There are a few Boulevard locations in Little Rock, and while this one wasn't the most convenient to the highway, it was still open for lunch as we were driving through the city around 2:30 PM. I placed our order online from the road, so when we pulled in, our sandwiches were ready and waiting! I'm glad we did order ahead, as they were still pretty busy when we arrived. We grabbed a table and enjoyed our lunch inside the cafe. We split a couple of their signature sandwiches, and our favorite of the two was the pastrami. The rye bread pairs quite nicely with the roast beef. We also shared the turkey sandwich, which was good but not as memorable as the pastrami. I can confidently say that we'd make Boulevard our new go-to road trip stop in Little Rock! From the freshly baked bread and tasty sandwiches to the friendly service, this is a solid spot for lunch.
