We cannot recommend Community Care and the lovely staff there enough. Our two children attended, and there was so much joy, patience, and love from all of the teachers. Our older graduate was beyond prepared for TK and beyond, due in no small part to the teachers. They also offer numerous opt-in activities during the day (ballet, science lab, and gymnastics) and bonus drop-ins (bug lab, bunny therapy) which make it really convenient to provide extra enrichment for the kids. The only negative feedback we have is that they've made it so hard to decide when to move our children to TK. read more

Our daughter attended Community Care Preschool right after she turned 3 years old and graduated just last year. Coming from a Burlingame preschool that was losing many staff members, we wanted to make sure we chose a school where our daughter would be welcomed, learned social skills as well as academics. We decided to come to this school because not only was recommended by a friend who had many good things to say about it, it was also in a prime location where our other children attend school, convenient for our families needs. We felt welcomed in the beautiful space, felt supported by the wonderful, thoughtful teachers and gained an exceptional preschool community. Ms Keli is one of the kindest, most caring people that we have ever met. Her staff is well trained in different aspects of child development and teaching experience. They were very intentional with the skills they were teaching as well as really getting to know our daughter to make her feel comfortable and part of this preschool community. We saw the difference a in our daughter's social skills through her interactions the teachers would catch and post on the Brightwheel app as well as strengthened her academic comprehension and abilities. Every day she would come home telling us something that she learned whether it was a new song or the STEM experiment she conducted every Friday, CCP had really prepared her for her entrance into Kindergarten. We were truly lucky to have been a part of the CCP community and will continue to supporting this wonderful school by recommending it. read more

I toured CCP with Ms. Keli after touring six other preschools/daycares in the area and ultimately decided to send my son here the following summer. I can't say enough about our experience here and how much my son grew within months of joining. School facilities - CCP facilities is a bit smaller than some of the other mega-centers I've visited, but it is a more intimate and cozy setting for the kids to spend time with one another. They really make good use of the space they do have and I found it to be beneficial as students are moved between classes because they still have time together across the different age groups. Teachers - All of the teachers at CCP have been incredible and seem to genuinely care for the students and families. My interactions with them are consistently positive from morning drop offs, through the school app, and during pick-ups. The teachers are super responsive to questions and help put my mind at ease. Any questions I raise are usually addressed right away. They also send a bunch of updates and pictures/videos throughout the day and that has been one of the major highlights for me as a first time mom and big time overthinker/worrier. Curriculum - My son started CCP at 2 years old and spoke primarily Mandarin at home. I was worried he wouldn't be able to adjust and would have trouble keeping up. This wasn't the case at all. Within the first few months, he was counting, singing, dancing, and went from saying 1 word to randomly spouting full sentences like "I is for Ice Cream!" and "I see the rainbow smiley face over there!", which was super mind-blowing. They also do an amazing job working through and giving the kids words for their emotions as some of the other reviews have mentioned. At one point my son said "I saw so-and-so cry today and it made me sad" and "Mama, dada, aunties, uncles, grandma, grandpa love me, so I'm happy!" - just that kind of association was really amazing to see. Value - The cost of the program was the same or lower than the other schools I toured. As an extra bonus, CCP also offers some extracurriculars through their program like dance and gymnastics. It is incredible that students get exposure to those experiences throughout the year. Ms. Keli and her team including Ms. Lily, Ms. Sobia, Ms. Nancy, and Mr. Cameron are superlative in their care of the children at CCP. My daughter went to CCP for two years before going to TK and she is still currently ahead of her peers in reading comprehension, writing and math in elementary school. Not only does the academic structure and the method in how they instruct students at CCP prepare children for elementary school, but Ms. Keli and her team recognize that all children learn differently and they genuinely care about the individual development of each child, catering to developing strengths and acknowledging opportunities for growth in all disciplines. My daughter was also potty trained at CCP, which was a huge help at home. Ms. Keli and her colleagues also focus on growing students' social and emotional developmental milestones. For example, my daughter learned how to help other children in preschool, but would also find time to herself in order to charge her social battery. We are pleased in seeing how much my daughter has thrived at CCP that we continue to enroll her in BALA (Bay Area Learning Academy) today, the after-school program for elementary school students. I highly recommend Ms. Keli, her colleagues, and CCP to any parent considering preschool for their child(ren). read more

CCP has been such a gift to our family. Our son started at CCP when he was 2 years old, and he's almost 4 now. From the very first tour, we knew this was the right place. Kelli was the one who showed us around, and everything was so neat, organized, and clean. More than that, the environment felt calm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. We fell in love with CCP in that moment, and our experience since then has only confirmed we made the best choice. Our son has attended full-time every day, and the growth we've seen over the past two years has been incredible. When he first started, he was in speech and feeding therapy, but over time we saw such major improvements that he no longer needed those services. Thanks to the support, structure, and encouragement at CCP, he's now talking nonstop and eating most of his food like a champ. We're also extremely grateful for the help with potty training, which was a huge milestone for us, and they made it feel so much more manageable. Academically and socially, he has blossomed. He's learned so many letters and numbers, and his vocabulary has expanded so much. Ms. Mabel and Ms. Lily have been absolutely amazing. They are patient, attentive, and truly care about each child's development. You can tell they put their hearts into what they do, and it shows in the confidence and joy our son brings home every day. One of the things we appreciate most is the community and warmth at CCP. Every single drop-off and pick-up, we're greeted with kindness. The staff treats our son like he's part of their own family, and that means everything as parents. CCP also creates opportunities for families to connect through fun events like musicals and potlucks, and we've been so impressed by how respectful and kind the other children and families are. It feels like a real community, not just a preschool. Everyone at home can see the difference CCP has made in our son. The progress he's made in two years is something we'll always be thankful for. My son attended CCP starting from the age of 2 and he grew so much from his experience there. He had attended a daycare prior to CCP, but cried every single day at drop-off and didn't seem to really be engaged throughout the day. Even though he still had an adjustment period when transitioning to CCP, he was soon dancing, laughing, and walking into class at drop-off without even turning his head. He's made good friends, learned to ask for help and for space, and he has really come out of his shell. The teachers are the main reason we chose CCP because happy teachers make for happy students! All the teachers we interact with are warm, attentive, responsive, and they really do an amazing job with the kids' activities and development. Both of our kids attended Community Care Preschool, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. But Ms. Keli and the teachers at CCP created such a nurturing and calming environment that we watched her completely blossom. We have our little one at CCP and we are happy we chose this preschool. The teachers are amazing, caring, considerate and organized. They are very helpful. Our little one is happy and when we pick him up, we can tell he had a good day with his classmates and teachers. I like that the classes are split into age groups to be more focused on what the kids' needs and learnings are. They also have enrichment programs which is nice for the kids to participate in. When we were first touring for Pre Schools for our daughter, Community Care really stood out. What drew us the most was the compassion, caring and love these teachers have for these students. Toured CCP. Teachers were friendly and welcoming, but it felt like they only put on smiles for show when visitors tour. Not a fan of the school director, Keli. She was condescending and kept making unnecessary comments and digs. You can tell she was judging from the time she greeted us. My child is a late talker and I mentioned this to her. She told me speech delay isn't common at their school, which I find hard to believe. Everything I said she challenged me on and talked to me like I am a 2nd class citizen. Schools usually encourage you to bring your child so they can explore and feel out the environment. Keli rudely told me I need to keep an eye on my child and close to me. I was able to see him across the room and he wasn't doing anything alarming--just exploring like a normal toddler would. I would NEVER send my child to this place. The staff looked stressed out and we were there during prime time. It felt crammed in their space. I didn't feel she was genuinely concerned about my child's success. Clearly running a money pit. I cut the tour short. Wasn't a good vibe at all. Yuck. read more

Our son has been going to Community Care Preschool for the past month and he absolutely loves it. He can't wait to go to the preschool every morning. There are so many playing/creative activities as well as math, reading in English, and etc. The preschool is in a safe environment and has been remodeled so everything looks great. Our daughter recently started at Community Cares Preschool and we can't say enough about how wonderful the teachers are. We came across this preschool because last year, our son attended an after-school program taught by the same teachers. Their program lifted him up in so many ways, both academically and socially. When the teachers told us over the summer that they're continuing their path to open up a new preschool, we immediately signed up our daughter. The teachers spend a lot of hours and time to come up with such creative projects, which include STEM learning and Sensory activities. The student to teacher ratio is also small, which is important to us because it allows the teacher to adapt to specific learning styles and build deeper relationships as a mentor, which children may not receive in much larger classroom settings. The school also completed a full renovation, giving the classrooms a very nice facelift. read more
