They claim that they do not do insurance pre-authorization for testing that required the doctors office that refers you to them to get it. I talked to my urologist office. They send it in the day. I had my appointment last month and then send it again today. However, a supervisor at Steinberg claims they never received it and they simply canceled my appointment. I have told my urologist I no longer trust Steinberg Diagnostic to do my testing. I prefer to go back to Desert radiology I have always had a good experience with him. I will never ever ever use Steinberg again nor should you.

Lisa didn't need to go the extra mile--but she did, without a second thought. She took it upon herself to call multiple offices to track down my psychiatrist and have the lab order written up, sparing me a lot of stress and hassle. She handled it all with such warmth, kindness, and patience. Lisa was incredibly sweet and went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of, even when it was outside her responsibilities. The clerk then told me that to use a charge card would require me to pay an additional 3% fee ($6.40). I feel that they should have change or if not they should not punish me to use my card. The receptionist said that she loaded it so that the radiologist can compare the 2 studies. I fixed their mess. The receptionist never loaded my prior study, lied to us, as of today, over a week later, no comparison was ever done. The technician Abe was the most unprofessional, rude and abrasive person I have ever met in healthcare. I was never treated like that before during any medical service. The new health issue is not related to the old issue. This facility is very lacking in any care for their patients. She said I had to leave, I'm a 73 year old who has been on dialysis for over 20 years and I took a Para transit bus to this appointment! I am not going to stand outside while I wait an hour for my return bus home, She called the COPS!
