I saw an invitation to a webinar about Hypothyroidism, and made a reservation. Spent an hour listening to "Dr" Ian Yamane at no time during the webinar which lasted an hour did he mention that the "Drs" on staff are actually chiropractors and not medical doctors. I felt like I'd just waisted my valuable time, and that they were very deceptive in not explaining to our group that they were not an actual medical facility but a group of chiropractors. I've been to several chiropractors and was actually harmed and not helped by any of them, I would not recommend wasting your valuable time unless you want an actual chiropractor and not a medical doctor. read more

I really want to love this place, they were helping me...then suddenly they just stopped responding or contacting me. It was around the time covid happened, so I understand that, but at least keep in contact and help me order the supplements and guide me virtually like others have. This review is for Dr. Alexandra Reimann who is the naturopathic doctor at Vallhalla. I've been seeing Dr. Alex for a couple of years and always appreciate my visits with her. She never rushes you and always goes over anything that might be bothering you in detail. I also like that she really looks at getting you to the optimal test results for your blood work, not just "in range" like most other doctors. The only downside is that since Nevada doesn't recognize naturopaths I can't use my insurance for the visits. So it can get a little pricey when you first start treatment but I find it well worth the cost. read more

Underpriced. Went from max 2 grams/day Metformin to zip, zero nada after a month with Dr Yamane. Was it hard. Yes. Body says 'more carbs and sugar' while the brain says wait a minute. The help from Dr. Yamane, Paige, Farrah and the rest of the staff, I quit all my meds, dry skin, itching, brain fog and the rest. Quit for a year due to Covid and recently came back!! Dropped 25-40 points on my glucose level in the first three weeks. Yes, it is still difficult but I see the end of the rainbow. Most regular doctors would just up the meds and/or add new ones. Buyer beware! It is overpriced for what you get. When I realized what was included in the full 6K package, and even the (1/2) 3K package I wanted out of the program. The first month included 5 supplements which can be found on the internet for 150.00 retail price for the the same brand. Dr Yamane agreed to let me out of the program after the 1st month for 1200.00. Really???? That's a nice profit. I was under the care of Dr. Yamane. I came in to see him after going into remission using traditional medical treatments. I loved my visit with Dr Yamane as well as my free initial Virtual meeting which was very informative. He explains everything to the fullest and he listens to your concerns and answers all of your questions. Even though my insurance would not cover my visits he still was so nice to me. He didn't just cut me loose because of my insurance situation, instead he took time to let me know what he thought I should take to help solve the more serious problems since I couldn't do the entire program that he had designed for me. He also tried to produce a few plans that I could afford. I really wish I could be a full time patient because he's the greatest! I also was in awe of all the wonderful staff. As the appointment date approached there was some scheduling mishaps back & fourth...front desk was confused & unorganized, we finally had an appointment set. I showed up on time only to realize my appointment was for a consult. Now please explain to me why in the world I would go for a consult without having the service? I've had peels with Lynette at the old location which were great. Lynnette was amazing, but I don't think she's there anymore. I purchased a Groupon for a massage for $24 after using a coupon, and honestly, the massage wasn't even worth that. An older lady (I believe her name is Terry?) did my massage. She asked what I wanted and I told her heavy pressure. Most of the massage was barely even light pressure. On top of that, her nails were long and were scratching my skin the entire time. I was just ready for it to be over. Usually in massages the therapist will gently pick up and put down your arms/legs to massage them, but when she was done she just sort of threw my limbs down. It was very strange and not relaxing at all. The massage came with a foot scrub, but she didn't completely remove the scrub after so I was left walking around after with salt in between my toes. The massage ended about 10 minutes early. It was the worst $40 (after tip) I've ever spent. I guess you get what you pay for. I've had better massages at Massage Envy or even from therapists fresh out of school. I feel compelled to give two stars because the staff was very nice. Maybe their other services are good, but do not come here for a massage. read more

Received massage by Terri. Room lighting was dim, and there were soothing sounds of nature playing thru the ipod. Room was spacious. Bed was plush and blanket was comfy. Room temp was just right and not chilly like most places. Terri moved swiftly and I never heard any footsteps or cabinets closing or shuffling around (can you tell that I'm a stickler for ultimate relaxation?) He is on a journey in helping my teenage daughter treat the root cause of her Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. He is very focused in this area and up to date on alternative treatments for the thyroid. He is very thorough in his medical knowledge and exhaustive in his efforts to help us treat the cause of this autoimmune disease.
