Antonio and Jose installed a side yard and front yard wood fence for us. In total it was approximately 200 feet of fence. Part solid wood, part picket. They worked very hard despite cold winter temperatures and completed the job in a timely manner. They took their time laying the posts and carefully measuring the distances and property line. Antonio is very detail oriented and made sure that we were comfortable with the property line and we discussed how the fence would flow given the grade of the property. I appreciated that he is definitely of the "measure twice (or three times), cut once" mindset and I felt like he was very focused on getting it right and making sure that I was comfortable before starting the install. I never got the sense that he was trying to rush this job to hurry off to another project. His team left our yard spotless during and after the install and graciously cleared bushes and brush in order to install the fence in the first place. Any time I had a question about the project or needed clarification, Antonio was quick to call or text me. He is very customer service oriented and puts a lot of effort into maintaining open lines of communication and partnering with his clients to get the job done right. Every day he said he would show up to work, he did, and he was always available by text (day or night, including weekends). His communication skills are amazing and his good nature and positive attitude made the project go smoothly, despite some external forces (that had nothing to do with Antonio and his team) that made it unnecessarily challenging. I walked over to a neighbors who were getting a new deck from Community Deck. And right away the foreman, Christian, greeted me and we walked to inspect my deck. Christian was thorough and candid about its condition. He didn't try to "sell" me on anything more than what I needed (a new floor and top railing). I received an excellent quote from Antonio a few days later and we had a thorough conversation about the value of a diagonal vs. parallel floor boards. Even though he could have made more money on a diagonal design, he recommended parallel for its ability to more evenly bear the weight load. Also, Antonio and Christian choose the wood piece by piece - and not from Home Depot! The workers were friendly and hardworking and cleaned up all the debris after finishing. When Covid happened and we decided we needed more space to spread out inside and outside of our townhome, we got many quotes on repairing or replacing our 20 year old, out of code deck. We had a couple of estimates done for our fence project, Antonio's pricing was VERY fair and super competitive. We ended up giving him the job and we could couldn't have been more pleased. The fence looks great. He's incredibly attentive to detail, he asked questions about what we would like, preferences, etc. Took care of having the ground marked for wires, discussed options for us and what he would recommend for door opening direction, caps, posts and things of the sort. His work ethic along with his worker was incredible. It did take about 2 days for them to finish the fence, but that's alright with us, it was during the week so it was not an inconvenience at all. When my wife and I bought our townhouse we knew installing a fence would be the first "upgrade" we would do. After a year in the house it came time to get a fence after we got a puppy. We contacted a couple local contractors for estimates, and when Antonio came and spent the most time surveying (found the property markers) and talking to us about our fencing requirements (strict HOA policies) we were confident he would do the best job. Sure enough the fence is awesome! Antonio came and did the fence with one other gentleman and finished 90% of a 65-linear-feet fence on one moderate December day. He said he would come back a couple days later to finish. When he realized he had a conflict on the day he said he'd show up, he came the next day instead by himself and finished the fence. The combination of exceptional work ethic and craftsmanship is very hard to find. We too had our board-on-board fence installed with slightly smaller gaps between boards for enhanced privacy. Additionally, we they made the fence look perfect with the grade/slope of our end unit lot. We cannot recommend Antonio and Community Fence enough. Even in the middle of winter he and his team built and installed a perfect fence for our yard.
