At first everyone very nice and helpful so they get your business . But once you have a serious medical issue, a couple going on at same time it becomes very apparent they cannot handle . They are medically negligent in my daughters care . 6 er visits in 2 weeks severe kidney issues , 3 visits to Mashpee, on one urgent care said " well go to Beth Isreal maybe they can help " "but I don't have the facilities here to help you" not once offered any help . At this point daughters blood work from er is so bad we are going to Boston. They also do not answer phone and take days to call back . Falmouth ,Hyannis and Beth Isreal er ask what is ur primary doing as 6 visits in 2 weeks we told them primary doing NOTHING . I would advise anyone going here don't go or only use for a short time they are unable to handle anything more than strep throat . read more

This week I stopped in at this community health center with my wife who was visiting her primary care provider. From the moment we walked in this office, the staff was incredibly polite and made sure that my wife checked in and signed out quickly. The other thing that surprised me was the fact that they have so many services and they also have late hours. I have been cared for at this facility since July of 2019. The walk in clinic, the staff at Dr. Tager's office and reception have always been professional and supportive. There are certain things that need a referral because surgery is needed or complicated issues that need a specialist. Referrals have never been a problem. read more

I first came here when I moved home from Ireland. To have the pharmacy, walk in, eye and dental as well as primary all in one place seemed perfect. At first it was great. Laura Cowan was incredible but since she moved I noticed all the care went downhill. It's nearly impossible to actually speak to someone- you always have to leave a message and callbacks are rare or days (even over a week this last time) away. I thought messages on the portal might be better but those don't seem to be replied to in a timely manner either. I'm not sure if they took on too many patients or what, and I know COVID has been incredibly tough for medical practices but after waiting for a week for a response I called a different doctor that my friend recommended to me with my time sensitive issue and they got my insurance set up and an appointment booked for me in a few days before my doctor at CHC even called me back. The worst health care I've ever encountered. No "care" here. A patient who is need of a certain medication is left with no response to a message regarding that medication. Leaving a patient in limbo is inexcusable. What happened to "first, do no harm"? This patient has been harmed by this alleged "health care" facility. Do better Community Health Center. As a Medicaid patient who moved from out of state I've had the unique opportunity to compare the level of service at CHC with what I was receiving elsewhere. Their idea of an integrated system where most medical needs can be handled in house is great, but the execution is very lacking. To call their mental health services "bare bones" would be generous. CHC is dreadfully understaffed and putting literal interns in front line positions managing MH patients with complex needs. Staff turnover is also intense. CHC should admit that they can't handle complex mental health needs and refer them out. On top of that, I've had more than one staff member treat me dismissively, including frank discriminatory treatment at the pharmacy. Definitely avoid this location, and perhaps the entire CHC of Cape Cod, until they get their act together. read more

I've been going hear for almost 2 years and I haven't had a bad experience yet. Dr. Bustin is WONDERFUL! After years of suffering and 7 doctors, she diagnosed me with PCOS. While she is unfortunately leaving the practice, I hear the new physician I am assigned to is wonderful as well. My therapist and psychiatric NP are a great support system as well! I am glad to have them be part of my health care team. read more

Dr Jett is wonderful. However, I was very ill with a yearly bronchial infection and with a high fever drove to the walk in clinic. I had been sick for a week and in the past if I am not treated with antibiotics in time it has turned to pneumonia. The clinic doctor refused to give me antibiotics until I threatened to walk out. She prescribed a useless Pregnisone- an immune suppressant while I was fighting an infection? Maybe she is getting kickbacks from the salesperson. I was so disgusted. It was the attitude- 'Don't tell me what you need. Only I tell you.' You know antibiotic immunity is caused by factory farming and not doctors prescribing antibiotics to a sick patient? read more

I've been a patient here for more than eight years, and within the last three or four years the service has slipped. I'm not a huge fan of getting a new PCP every year because the doctor turnover rate is high. I've also used their women's health services and the desk clerks were always unwelcoming; one clerk in particular accused me of lying about being 10 minutes late because I hadn't visited the new facility before and was unfamiliar with the new facility layout. Of course, when she looked over my records and saw that I hadn't been to the new facility she realized I had been telling the truth. She didn't apologize for her snide remarks. However, the last straw was last fall, when I was between insurance providers and had the misfortune of getting an infection from a tick bite. No joke, this facility told me to come back in a month when I have insurance. So, if you are not insured 100 percent of the time, or, God forbid, get a new job and are waiting for your new insurance to kick in, you can forget about seeing your Community Health Center doctor. Thankfully, I have a great new doctor at a different facility now. I will never again be a patient here! read more

I am just done with this place I've seen about every obgyn they have there and still can not tell me what is wrong they look at me like I'm crazy. The last straw was today when a manger and another girl was walking and the girl whispered a comment about me she thought I couldn't hear her and I heard everything she whispered the manager just laughed tomorrow I will be making a complaint but I would never recommend this place read more

I've been a patient for 8 years, had 4 doctors and had to sit and pay for a meet and greet with each new doctor before a physical could even be done. The first doctor was great! He left the practice. Now I have had a new doctor yearly. The first ew doctor mis treated me for an infection with 2 different antibiotics. The doctor would not talk with me, only through the nurse. The next new doctor treated me for the same infection. Said he would send the specimen to the lab. When I called because the antibiotic wasn't working and wanted to find out what the culture showed it would respond to they said it was disposed of. Offering me another antibiotic and/or to come in again to the clinic to see the NP (pay again). When the medication didn't work we had no other recourse! Both times I had to seek treatment elsewhere! The last straw was this past week. I had my meet and greet with the 4th doctor. She initially was in the wrong patients chart (I discover it when she wanted to refill a blood pressure medication I'm not on!) then she refused to refill one of medications stating "I dont prescribe that". She would not engage in dialogue with me to ascertain why I was taking it, she just walked out of the room and didn't come back. They abuse the healthcare system, have too many doctor in and out of the practice therefore there is no consistency in care. I would definitely not refer anyone to this practice. read more
