Wish I could give 0 stars. Dr. Gonzales is rude, obnoxious, and a horrible doctor.

Disclaimer/confession before I write the rest of this review. I typically *Hate* Gyms!!…read more Gyms tend to not be as hygienic as I like .... I am a self proclaimed germaphobe. Too often I've seen people not wipe equipment after using it ewwwwww their sweat left behind and other germs if they have colds etc. I won't mention what else could be left behind by someone not cleaning off equipment! EEWWWWWW... Some gyms have towels that are reused by their patrons to wipe down equipment EWWWWWW lets share each other's sweat and yes booger's I've seen it! Ewwwwww!!! Some gyms have those who think if a bottle of water is good a gallon is better not realizing they are risking Hyponatremia (medical condition to drinking too much water -- cause the sodium in your body to become diluted. When this happens, your body's water levels rise, and your cells begin to swell. This swelling can cause many health problems, from mild to life-threatening via Mayo Clinic .) anyway these people go around acting like they are mr& mz universe. While drinking their gallon of water they are slamming their weights and grunting so the whole gym can hear. Some gyms are more like social hook-up spots than gyms everyone posing walking around/looking around to get attention not really there to get a workout in. Some gyms sadly much of their equipment is outdated and of broken. Do when Planet Fitness came to town I was hesitant to join; however with a 10$ monthly fee and no long term commitment I thought sure I'll give it a try. I can quit in a month. It will satisfy the man that I gave another gym a chance. We have been members now since day 1 and I actually really like this gym!! Shock!! Why? 1. It's clean! A. They use disposable paper towels and spray for clientele to wipe down equipment. B. They have staff personnel constantly cleanly the premises and equipment as well. 2. They have an no "Lunk" policy. "Lunk" is used by Planet Fitness to describe one who grunts, drops weights, and judges. At planet fitness there is a lunk alarm that will go off if they believe you to be a lunk. 3. It's new so all the equipment works and is new. There are plenty of treadmills, stair-steppers, arc-trainers, ellipticals etc. that you don't have to just hang around waiting to use a machine. 4. really is a place where you can go and feel comfortable, not intimidated by show offs. Where it's clean and affordable for just about anyone. 5. The staff at this location I've encountered are all very nice. Planet Fitness is a good addition to town. I no longer hate gyms. I actually enjoy going.

It's a cramped space but they're doing the best with what they can. It is filled with people who like to creepily stare, no matter what time you go. Parking is not the best when busy. Tanning beds and massagers are always dirty. Overall, the quality matches the price.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at the Petco in Lompoc, CA…read more I was in the store with my family, including my 7-year-old daughter, to purchase a teddy bear hamster and a temporary cage. While an employee was retrieving the hamster, the General Manager approached us aggressively, raised his voice, and began scolding us about the cage, claiming a previous hamster had gotten ringworm from it. I tried to calmly explain that the cage was temporary and that we had done our research, but he would not let me speak, repeatedly talked over me, and belittled me in front of my child. His behavior was hostile, intimidating, and completely unprofessional. He then told us that if the hamster got sick, we should "not come back" because he would refuse to replace it, which felt threatening rather than helpful. Most alarming, his speech appeared slurred, and there was a strong smell of alcohol. Regardless of the cause, his conduct was inappropriate and concerning, especially from someone in a management role. What should have been a happy experience for our daughter was completely ruined. No customer -- especially a family with a child -- should be treated this way. Corporate should seriously look into the management at this location.

Drive to Santa Maria if you want customer service and not being judged…read more I had aquariums my entire life and they make it as hard as a child adoption. They are loud , argumentative and contrarian to whatever you say asking a ton of questions of which you will never get it right unless you have a pound . Just ask if we've had that fish before or if you have questions about care . those fish are there for only god know how long in those overcrowded tanks. Not even want to say on the betas. The first associate was nice and straight to the point and having people skills (prob new employee). While he was starting to retrieve the 3 fish I asked for, his manager (of someone who feels like it) asked him very rudely to stay away that he would take of the rest. But once he took over he asked me a ton of questions making us feel harassed then saying I could not take the fish I want . In front of my kid and wife making it a terrible experience for me and my entire family.

I filed a formal complaint with the corporate office for false advertising. For a store in a small town, dependent on local spending, it's unwise to engage in this behavior. Not honoring prices due to a store mistake, loses customers. I won't spend another dime at BIG 5 in Lompoc and wouldn't be surprised to see this store close and jobs lost since they rather false advertise. I'll buy sporting goods from Dicks or Amazon, anywhere but BIG 5 in Lompoc.

So, every time I've been there so far there's been some sort of sale. I started playing softball this year and was able to get cleats and pants at a great price. They've got a good selection of equipment as well. The staff in the shoe department has always been friendly and helpful. I don't think I've ever had any interaction with their employees otherwise, besides the checkout counter. Can't say that's a bad thing though. I don't especially like having someone asking me every five minutes, "Can I help you with something?"

To really understand the psychology of your best friend/animal is priceless. Taylor is so patient, encouraging, and reassuring as I learned to patiently let my puppy be a puppy but also encourage him in the right ways. Now, when I walk him, he sits and lays down when any dog is passing by (at my request), and most everyone says "wow, great job" to me, impressed by his behavior. Awesome experience, awesome service.

Up at all hours of the night letting her out to the bathroom but waking to surprises in her crate the next morning. We were all tired. Until we found Tayler. Tayler took Jinger into her home and made her part of her family for the week. I received pictures and video throughout her stay, constant communication about her progress, playtime, and pictures from her camping trip. When Jinger came home a week later she went from being a puppy we had to watch like hawks to a member of the family. In one week Tayler transformed Jinger into a potty trained and well behaved young lady was not only potty trained but also learned some commands. Tayler is amazing in her craft and our family is thankful!
