Top of the list, every time I show up for an appointment, it starts as scheduled. Everyone is professional and courteous. There attention to detail is great from decor to cleanliness. Even the bathrooms are above and beyond expectations. Now on to one of the best doctors i had the pleasure to meet. She is a passionate and caring medical profession. In our first appointment she takes a detailed medical history and takes the time to understand all aspects of your history and current symptoms. Although she will treat the symptoms, she never loses focus on trying root cause. In a couple of instances, i need to go see specialists and she has only referred me to standout professionals in their respected fields. She is great and I highly recommend her. This is like riding first class in plane. (for Seinfeld fans) I don't think I can go back to sitting in coach. Btw, when I was out in San Francisco for business I need to see a doctor. The level of care I received from the front desk was on point. I'm very pleased I was able to check in without having to do it with the busy front desk. My appointment was at 1130 but I wasn't seen till 12:20, no big deal. I'm used to waiting for doctors. I appreciate the nurse who called me she was very polite. Awesome type of care I received. The room I was waiting in was very clean, see photos. If you're worried about other people hearing you speak with your doctor, then this isn't the location for you. Bathroom Alert: The bathroom was super clean. I like how it was cleaned right after I used it. I am happy knowing I won't get an infection from the bathroom. I like the nurse who helped me when I had to draw a urinalysis. She explained everything in detail. She walked me to the bathroom just in case I had to faint. I greatly appreciate her. I appreciate how patient she was with my responses. I didn't get to see my regular doctor, so I needed to see her PA. I appreciated the type of care I received from her. She is amazing and explained that if I needed to go to the hospital it would be my actual doctor who would be doing the procedure. But unfortunately my doctor is on maternity leave. So I'm just waiting for tests. Either way I'm happy with my visit today. I will continue to see the PA. Thanks NYU.

It's a wonderful thing to not have to sit and wait hours and hours in the physician's waiting room whilst pouring over old tattered magazines on the coffee tables of yore. Plus, with the convenient NYU Medical App on my smartphone: (1.) my appointment was confirmed a week prior to (2.) I was able to fill out those hundred page forms asking for my life's memoirs with my medical history dating back to my grandparents. So convenient in every way! The staff and office set up prior to seeing the doctor is the most unsanitary experience ever witnessed. Especially during this pandemic. The same cramped room used to take money and handle phone calls is the same for pre screening. The staff took blood without wearing gloves. Not to mention after prepping my arm with alcohol, TOUCHED THE SAME SPOT WITH HER UNGLOVED THUMB. All of this was also done while talking on the office phone and touching her own cellphone. I've gone through a phlebotomy course and know that everything done was incorrect. This technician did not wash her hands between patients nor sanitize the desk. Not to menton, privacy was at zero as people were coming in to talk to her. I understand being spread thin, but this was paper. Dr. A. Andrade, daughter of J. Andrade, completed the visit. Really recommend to not come here. The first issue is communication. It is nearly impossible to reach a live person. Most calls end up at a recording directing patients to the website, and the only reliable way I've found to get someone on the phone is sometimes through the billing office. For example i just tried to call twice because they mixed up my medication. It's 10:45am EST... full business working hours... and their answering machine said they will get back to me within 1 business day. The second issue is continuity of care. The office now seems to function as a revolving door of students and trainees. While I fully support medical education, it becomes frustrating when a different person handles every appointment and you have to repeat your entire medical history from scratch. Even more concerning, my patient information often appears to be incomplete or inaccurate despite multiple prior visits - again just this week completely mixed up dosages of medications I've been on for years, should clearly be on my sheet? On more than one occasion, I have received recommendations that seemed far more extreme than warranted for the issue being discussed. Follow-up is frequently promised but rarely happens. Never once getting a follow up call on outcome of test results. The biggest problem has been prescription management. I have been on the same medication for years and needed a routine refill. The prescription was not sent, which is something that has happened now multiple times. When I finally reached someone by phone, they proceeded to ask me (the patient) which medication and dosage I take because my chart apparently did not contain that information. Thankfully i obviously know what i take - but that should be confirmed and monitored by the doctor - after all that they sent in the wrong dosage to the pharmacy and doubled my daily medication. The lack of communication, poor recordkeeping, missed prescription requests, and inconsistent follow-up have made this practice difficult to trust with ongoing medical care.

It's frustrating when friends and family try to share their experiences, only to have their voices silenced. Please do your research and avoid this place if you care about receiving quality care.
