The overall care my 94 year old mom received was very disappointing. The CNA was the only Star who showed a lot of care and attention to mom's needs. The week my mom thought to stay alive, her appointed nurse had just seen her and had left without letting me know. She was in very bad health. no mention that I should take her to the hospital or that she should be seen by doctor. When I finally reached by phone, she claimed he had planned to call me, but had another appointment. My mom had Covid, mucus Mersa, and could barely breathe. When I got her to the hospital, they were shocked by her condition. She received great medical help which brought her around. That said, she took her sudden turn for the worst overnight and passed away. read more

Requested quotes for a pool cleaner via Yelp. Yelp had sent a request to Community Home Services. We had corresponded via the app, and once we agreed on a time frame and price, I was contacted by a rep on Saturday. She said that in order to put us on the schedule, I needed to provide my CC information. I did so reluctantly. I asked to be provided with a heads up when they were on their way, which she agreed to. Our scheduled date comes around and nothing by 1:30p. I called and spoke with Kim and asked for confirmation. She asked to call back after taking my name. A few minutes later she called back confirming that they were still scheduled and would contact me. 5:30p nothing. By now the phone lines were down. I now have a company that has my number, address and CC with no plans of showing up for services agreed upon. I would avoid this company. If you feel like you would rather risk it, then my advice would be to insist that payment information not be provided until after services. They will have to choose if they want to honor their word first.plenty of contractors don't require upfront information for services that cost a lot more. AVOID. We had to contact our CC company to warn them of any suspicious activity and will probably request the card cancelled which is annoying. Other reviews on Google also not how unreliable they are and their own staff writes positive reviews . read more

This company had numerous service items. Didn't put chlorine tablets in, left my pool chairs not in the same spot and almost fell in the pool, said they brushed the walls and still had allege and the topper tried to sell me a $2500 pump and said it wasn't covered under warranty. I call Pentair and it was and had another company come out and replace it at no cost from me as it was covered under warranty! Terrible service and not trustworthy. Canceled my monthly service immediately and they still charged me for a trip charge for the pump. read more

Horrible company. So many great options out there.. steer clear of this one! They caused damage to our fence with their weedwhacker, around the entire perimeter of my backyard. The damage goes all the way around and is present wherever the grass is. I addressed it with the crew at my house and was given two excuses - one that they had to go low so they would not damage our grass, and the second is that they get in a groove sometimes and don't realize they are hitting the fence. Either way, he admitted that it was their fault. I sent an email with some photos detailing this. The service manager then drops by my house without confirming it was okay to do so. He went into my yard to inspect the damage and happened to catch my two small (one paralyzed 13-year-old chihuahua) and older adult pug mix outside. They bark at him because that's what dogs do when you enter into their yard. He then quickly concludes my dogs caused the damage and doesn't want to take responsibility. This company just loves to make excuses, don't they? My dogs are rarely outside, they are older and barely have teeth. It's comical that he is trying to say that they chewed up the fence with such depth and precision all around the entire yard. If that were the case, then why isn't their damage where the grass isn't growing? Oh, that's because it was caused by a machine.. not a small, senior, paralyzed dog with a few teeth. I've had these dogs their whole life, and we've had a perfect fence until Community Home Services showed up. read more

Horrible service, made an appointment for a paid pool inspection, no one showed. I had to call them to find out what happened, they said the guy called in sick, yet no one called me. They wasted my time , burned half of my day. They also lost about 20,000 of my business for pool repair plus additional money for pool cleaning and maintenance services. Glad their business is that good during these times they didn't need any of mine. I found a veteran owned and operated pool inspector who earned my business by showing up and created a detailed report. read more

Have been using CHS since the famous February storm that shut my pool down for 9 days with no electrical service, which damaged all pool equipment and the entire pool. After their remodel, I use CHS for weekly pool maintenance and Antonio is amazing. He always keeps me updated and communicates any concerns to be addressed. I've had this pool for 20 years and have always been on a weekly service contract, and never had a service tech who my dogs think is their best friend! Highly recommend! read more

I have been dealing with the part of Community Home Services that works out of Rockwall. Curtis Roughton has been working with me on design and assigning he crew to do the plantings. I couldn't possibly be more happy with what they have accomplished. The plants are so healthy that they bloom and start growing almost immediately. They are reasonable with pricing and respond almost immediately. I've dealt with two other landscapers and none of them were this good or planted things that were this healthy. In fact, some of them died almost immediately. I give Community Home Services 6 Stars!! read more

Tonio has been maintaining our pool since we've been with this company, it has been such a huge help. He does really well at communicating with me to let me know what he did, what I should do and, when it is or is not safe to swim (I have a kid that lives in the pool). Other than his professionalism and technical skills, he is really good with his costumer service, friendly, easy to talk to. Which sometimes it can feel like your bothering some people when you ask them what they are doing and why. We've had problems with the lawn service the owner fixed it but, Tonio is a big factor as to why we didn't leave as well. read more

Worst landscape company ever. Failed to put pre-emergence on lawn causing huge weed growth. Failed to mow and trim as paid for - went without service for more than a month. Lame excuses - out of town, covid, will get to it, etc. Lawn is a complete mess and had to hire someone else to at least cut the weeds. Tried to bill me for services not performed. Very poor communication - do not return email or phone calls. Worst ever. read more

I have used this company when they were Swim Tech, had no problems with them..,now that they are Community Home Services my suggestion is customer beware. Had a repair scheduled for next week but when I called to confirm I was told that since I haven't committEd to a service agreement yet then I would have to go to the back of the line for my repair. Kayla, who bills herself as the repair manager seemed proud to kick a paying customer with an appointment to the back of the line. I have never really witnessed such a blatant lack of customer service skills in my life...she was extremely unprofessional and very indignant. We just bought our house and the pool had been neglected. It was leaking water from several areas. Community Home Services was great. Kim was on the phone with me everyday talking me through what to check. She even sent me a box of puppy toys and treats because she knew I just got a new puppy. There was also someone working on our pool almost everyday until the problems got resolved. For the amount of work they did they charged us below market. We have used Swim Tech for a little over 2 years and have never had any issues. They have been on time, fairly priced, and punctual! We have had pools throughout our 28 years of marriage and have never had better service. We had major water issues due to dirt blowing in from a construction site and the issues were straightened out with one water sample. They always respond to emails even after hours. Swim Tech did a great job on my pump. It died and was very hot out. They came all the way out with a very fast response and replaced my motor. Had me back up and running within 48 hours. The worst service ever.! Broke more then they fixed. I would stay away from these guys. They are rude, disrespectful and send people out that have never cleaned or worked on pools or equipment before. The guy was a musician and does not regularly clean pools. They never cleaned the steps on the other side of the pool and told us that they need "special" equipment. When told that all they have to do is brush the steps, they refused to do it. We had them clean the pool filter and now it's leaking. They refuse to come back out and correct. I would stay away. Many pool companies out there and this is by far the worst and disrespectful to their customers that I have ever worked with. Asked the owner to meet me at the property so that I can show him what they messed up and was threatened with "you don't want me to meet you there". Said that he was sending me a bill regardless if it's fixed or not. Then hung up the phone. read more

We are on a first name basis with them, even Chica, because we go so often. And our pool with their products and help, looks great even though we do our own maintenance.
