The difference, their selection is more limited. It especially sucked that their deli did not carry Boar's Head meats, like the other Krogers I have been too. I never tried "Private Selection", but once you had the best (Boars Head), you don't go for the rest... Another thing is the prices seemed a little higher, for example on the flowers. I have nothing but good things to say about the level of help I've received. Kaylee in Hardware has gone above and beyond, and Justin behind the service desk has been of great help. Most of the employees have been super helpful, whether I need to find something or get something loaded into my car. I also get my prescriptions from the Walmart Pharmacy. The people working behind that counter are knowledgeable, courteous, and pleasant - always. I might not be able to find every item I need, but with COVID that's pretty much the way it is everywhere. Kudos to the Wapakoneta Walmart for doing what they can, and providing a safe environment in which to shop.

My family wanted to get me a cake and some candles. I had just moved into town and they wanted to make a small little celebration out of it. The store staff was very helpful, helping us find matches, a cake, and some candles. They were very nice and welcomed me into town. Really nice people! I have since come here a few times to buy some essentials, milk, chocolate, some microwave dinners, soda, etc. Not much I can buy since I am living out of a hotel with no kitchen except a microwave. I have walked around a bit and noticed their food is much cheaper than it was in Miami... especially it's produce section. It also has a fairly large section for alcohol. I am used to only having an aisle for wine and one for beer in my old grocery store back in Miami. They also sell hard liquor here, which is a change that surprised me. I will know more about it as I buy more often from here, especially food/ingredients I can actually cook. Still it's my neighborhood grocery store and like I said, the people are very friendly.

You ask them for help and they will actually stop what they are doing and direct you where you can find what you are looking for, if they don't know they ask someone or look it up. Very different than in other Walmart's I have been inside in Florida... where you are lucky to find an employee outside a register and they do not help you. Also when you live in an area where it gets really cold... you love the fact Walmart will actually bring your groceries to your vehicle. Nevertheless, I do notice that often when I come in here the store shelves are sparse. For example, I recently came last weekend into the Walmart because I needed to buy a litter box and litter for my cat. There were almost none left and the litter area was also starting to run out. I then tried looking for hard food for my cat, and her brand ,Science Diet, wasn't even sold. It's either that or I just couldn't find it on the shelf. If the shelves were full more often, I would definitely give this place a much higher rating.
