If you have minor issues and you are able to be seen by your primary or urgent care you would be well advised to do so for both your time and your money. If it's outside of those hours think hard about spending your time here. If you can wait with minor injuries until a first am appt elsewhere that is probably worth it. It's a shame - if this er was run half as well as our local urgent care it would be worth extra cost associated with hospital ers. I'm certainly grateful we have an er at all, but it's not a customer centric organization. Once care givers actually attended they were friendly and helpful.

Apparently, just because they are affiliated with a hospital they are allowed to bill it as a hospital visit, even those it advertises itself as 'convenient care clinic'. GRRRR... HORRIBLE. I completed their application and left. A few days later I received a call saying all of their doctors were NOT taking new patients. I told them I clearly stated my urgency when I stopped in and was told they were taking new patients. Now I find out that wasn't true and I wasted 4 days waiting. They CLEARLY don't care about people's well being. In visiting many other doctors in my area I found many are under the Family Care Medical Group. I visited 5 with similar bad results.
