Best moving company I've ever used. I requested a quote through Yelp from 5 or 6 highly rated moving companies. Community was the first to respond to me and it was amazingly fast. I believe I spoke with a Travis who set up my move. He was incredibly professional and I felt like my business was valued instantly. He was able to get me everything I needed for a Saturday move and I called on the previous Wednesday. Very efficient. I then got Julio and Daniel for my movers. Phenomenal guys. Amazingly polite and professional. The questions that they asked made me feel they valued my belongings as much as I did. When they first got there I had a few requests and all those requests were adhered to flawlessly without me having to be asked about it again. They were very fast and impressively calculated in my opinion. I hate moving more than someone wearing socks with sandals and that is a lot. The logistics of a move can be incredibly exhausting and any time a company can eliminate stress for you it frees you up for all the other nightmares associated with a move because you know at least one company will mess something up. Probably the best movers I have ever used and I have moved around a lot in my lifetime. They were very very careful moving my home from the 19th floor of one building into a house. The crew came in like a wrecking ball and started putting dents into the million boxes and furniture I had piled up. They carefully wrapped all my belongings and ensured that it was moved carefully to the new place. Nothing was broken and I found that to be unbelievable. My boyfriend and I were referred to community moving by a friend, and let me just tell you they are amazing! Everything was done in a timely manner. They arrived pretty much on the dot when they told us they would be there. Everything was packed up quickly and efficiently. They guys we had were very nice, and checked with us on anything they had questions on. We also had a little storage unit that they got done quickly as well. When we got to our new place they unpacked everything just a fast. No issues with any of our items (TV, mirrors, furniture). Everything was in the same condition before it was put on the truck. I requested two movers from Community Moving. I moved from a 1 bed/bath to an apartment. They were very helpful and did a great job. My apartment location was less than desirable from the street. They had all the moving tools needed and worked hard and quickly. There was a slight delay due to a maintenance issue, so they rented a Uhaul and finished my move on time. We were referred to Community Moving by our Apartment Locators and they were amazing! We were moving into a 5th floor apartment in Dallas, we had a freight elevator for us but it was still a 1 minute walk into the apartment after arriving at the 5th floor. We brought a 10' truck fully loaded and they managed to move everything in an hour and a half. William and Alex did a great job making sure all the furniture was moved carefully so it was not scratched and they were very efficient. I have to say, it was super easy to book them through their website and they do an amazing job at keeping you updated with emails and texts. All of my boxes that were extremely fragile were handled with care, as I instructed to do so, and all the heavy furniture was wrapped for protection. Nothing was damaged. My husband and I used Community Moving and I would have to say that the overall experience was just okay. One of the mover guys scratched up our laminate flooring and then proceeded to deny it. I tried to get a hold of Travis the day of the move to no avail. One out of the three movers that did the job was great, the other two were meh. The move was straight forward and there should not have been any problems, especially since we paid for more hours then were needed. This is my fourth time personally using this company. I am also in Real Estate and have personally sent dozens of clients to these movers. All of which have given me great feedback. I wouldn't have used this company as many times as we have if I didn't think it was a good service. This past move was a bit different than the others. While I don't like sharing negativity when I have had more positive experiences, I do feel the need to share my most recent move. Despite updating my inventory accurately to ensure the movers brought the right truck, they showed up with the wrong truck size. This issue was out of their control but what was meant to take 4 hours max, ended up being a 9 hour move. In addition, we had multiple things broken, some of which are antique pieces, the movers were bringing in small boxes or even single pillows at a time at one point, and my house smelled like weed by the time they were done bringing in everything the second round. I called the day after our move and chatted with Kent. He was great at listening to what happened, was kind and said they would work on getting us taken care of. It has now been a week since we moved and we haven't heard anything in regards to what will be done to make sure the situation is rectified. I trust that the team, management and owners will make this right. Although this recent move was a bit wild and not the best experience, I still have full intentions of using this company and sending future clients. I have had FAR more positive experiences and reviews from clients than negative. I trust that we will be taken care of as well and the situation will be made right! Community Moving - Dallas is very quick to respond. The movers are hard workers and have great personalities. We had a 1 bedroom apartment and moved 2 miles (10 minutes) from our previous address. The rates were $89/hr for 2 movers + a one time $65/truck, gas etc fees with a minimum of 2 hours. There was a $50 deposit. The moved took approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes. Olssen and his team are exceptional. He came in and accessed our needs and told us exactly how many hours we were looking at for packing and moving. It was more than what we were anticipating but needed. It turned into a two day project. One day to pack and one to move. Olssen took total control and directed and monitored his team at all times while doing working himself. My only criticism is the boxes he did not pack were not marked. Craig and his team were all-stars. They moved everything from my 1 bedroom apartment to my new house unbelievably quickly. They also wrapped my new 65" tv among other large items (washer/dryer, bed, various coffee tables and tv stands), and nothing had a scratch on it when they were done. I so wanted to give these guys 5 stars. The only reason I didn't was that they are not so good with follow up. They were very responsive to my initial contact; calling me a few times until I talked with them. The representative I spoke with, Travis, was informative, honest about expectations, and I felt good about booking my move with them. (and, I like their commitment to the N Texas Food Bank) Movers came on the chosen day, on time, and ready to work. They worked efficiently and carefully and the loading was done in an acceptable time. The unloading went just as well, except they were moving me into a three story condo. That was challenging, for sure, but they pulled it off, moving boxes to the floor requested, and without a mishap. When the move was complete, there was a change in the amount of trip charge that I was quoted, but a quick call to the office corrected that immediately. I asked Travis to get back with me with the names of the crew, and he did not. So, I don't remember the other two crew members' names. But, while the crew worked well together, there was one mover that was exceptional. Craig had the most positive attitude and it was great dealing with him. Considering they were moving things that I packed (not very professionally), he said, "no worries" to me multiple times while I apologized for my random packing. When we got to the condo, he was up and down the stairs at twice the rate of the others. I would certainly use them again, take advantage of their packing service, and I would request that Craig be on my crew! read more

I didn't have a lot to move so I think that contributed to the speedy service. Reasonable price, 2 hr min, Large truck and all tools needed to move efficiently. I was told my move was going to be 2-3 hours and it was 5 hours. I was also told I would have 3 movers and ended up with 2 and it seemed like they really took their time. I expected better but next time will hire a company with who can stay true to their word - even if it costs more because the whole situation was really frustrating and wasted my time. I also have an off-white bed frame that ended up completely dirty and poorly reassembled. I had to hire someone else to take it apart again and reassemble it because it was so creaky and uneven. read more
