The dining room staff is friendly and help make meal time something residents really seem to look forward to, by not just providing meals but talking with residents, and listening. The nursing staff monitors all medications, including requests for refills and clarifying instructions with physicians. The nursing staff has also been invaluable in keeping resident's family informed of communications with physicians office, and any noted changes in resident's needs or behaviors. The staff provides a positive, friendly, healthy atmosphere for our parent. This review does not rate the physical facility or maintenance.

Residents have to walk (most of them with the assistance of walkers) half way around the floor to the other elevator. That is very difficult for most. Be proactive and have parts on hand. It might also be a help for the back doors be left unlocked during the day to shorten the walk to the elevator. If security at these doors is an issue contract a security company.

Around 9:00 p.m., I took my younger cousins to the food court to get something to eat and distract them from everything that was happening. While getting a bottle of water from one of the refrigerators, my finger was suddenly slammed in the door, immediately turning purple. The pain was intense. When I checked out at the register, I explained what had happened to the cashier. Rather than showing concern, the cashier chuckled and simply asked whether I needed ice. No incident report was created, and no one appeared to care about what had happened. That same night, my aunt passed away, so my focus was understandably on my family rather than the injury to my finger. However, the pain became severe, and I was unable to sleep because the nerve pain was shooting up my entire arm. The following day, I returned to the hospital and spoke with a manager in the food court. I explained what had occurred and asked why no incident report had been filed. The manager contacted security, and I was escorted to the emergency room to have my finger evaluated. I was treated by Dr. Fiscus, who had to burn a hole in my fingernail to relieve the blood buildup. Upon discharge, I signed paperwork and was informed by a staff member that St. Agnes Hospital would be covering the bill because the accident had occurred in the food court. Despite this assurance, I have continued to receive bills from Vituity and Trinity and have spent considerable time speaking with multiple people who now claim that St. Agnes is not responsible. I am extremely disappointed that a hospital with a religious mission has handled this situation in such an uncaring and inconsistent manner. I feel that I was misled regarding responsibility for my medical expenses, and I am especially concerned that I was never contacted by Risk Management despite being told that the matter would be addressed. I am requesting that someone from Risk Management contact me as soon as possible to discuss this incident and provide clarification regarding the outstanding bills related to the injury that occurred on hospital property.

My dad's tablet which he loved and had memories and memories of photos on was gone. When we called to asked why the most we got was it wasn't on his inventory list which I can understand their side of the situation but at the same time all the staff that worked with him knew he had it they knew it belonged to him, the idea that someone took something from someone who just a 48 hours prior had passed away is just sad and inconsiderate, so make sure your loved ones inventory list is updated since that is the only way this place can keep they sticky fingered staff honest.

Dr. Guinto is my pain management doctor and he is terrific! He's genuine, caring, listens, and I…read moretrust him. I give him 5 stars! But is back office staff is awful! Calls are rarely, returned! I had an epidural a couple of weeks ago, and had several unusual symptoms I had never experienced. I put THREE calls into his office regarding 3 unusual symptoms and got one call back handling only one of the symptoms. I called again at night so the medical assistant would call me first thing in the morning, saying I was still concerned about my symtpoms and wanting to see the doctor and NEVER got a call back! The medical assistant is the conduit between the patient and the doctor and his medical assistants is unprofessional and doesn't seem to care for Dr. Guinto's patients. I'm frustrated and disappointed.

Update: I ended up moving forward with a procedure, only to have my follow up appointment canceled…read more They called me on a Saturday and said the doctor wouldn't be there. They rescheduled me for a week after the priorly scheduled appointment. Then they called and left me a voicemail canceling that appointment. I called the office back and they said the next appointment was months out and they'd have 'Zoe' call me. Well I never got rescheduled and never got ahold of anyone. Still no follow up appointment months later. Honestly this place is the WORST office I've ever been to. I give up. You can BET they are calling me to pay my bill though, so that's lovely. Bottom line is they push hundreds of people in and out of this place and money is all they care about. ----------------------------------------------- I saw Dr. Guinto who seemed genuine and listened to my concerns. At my first visit I had to arrive an hour early where I then waited almost two hours to be called back into the room. I then got my MRI. MRI department was wonderful. No complaints there. I had some issues trying to determine why this doctor suddenly said out of network when a week earlier it said he was in network (my insurance ended up solving the issue). The office staff was of ZERO help. They have been so rude when I have called in. Now I'm trying to schedule a follow up appointment, and they are over a month and a half out AND do not care about working around your schedule. As much as I appreciated Dr. Guinto, I'm going to try to find another doctor and go here as an absolute last resort. I have a M-F job and cannot spend 3-4 hours total waiting to be seen by a doctor. It's very difficult to even get the time off for a visit as Is.
